This Dark Chocolate cake is not sweet at all in fact I cannot taste the sweetness ( I'm looking for that balance bittersweet taste) a bit dry on the side plus very expensive128078 it's a let down for me.

Took advantage of another online deal... This time for the second branch of Parvati, newly opened at a building in one end of Banawe... When we bought the deal, we thought that there was food food (not just dessert food) available, which is the case for their Trinoma branch... But thanks to Julie J's review, we were forewarned...128077 But with too many vouchers for just dessert, we brought my bf's brother along...

I was distracted by the building, my first time there... There are sooooo many dining options in Banawe! I was already getting confused, in a good way...128522

Parvati is a store which resells dessert from different suppliers. Genius idea, being a reseller and reaching a bigger audience of dessert lovers... 128522 They serve cookies, bars and cakes from small businesses, in an area where one can sit down and have a cup of coffee with it... My bf and I shared the mini chocolate cake while his brother got the small Brazo de Mercedes... Dyahe to take pics of his cake... Sad because they ran out of the salted caramel cake, which I wanted to try! Sayang! I meant to ask the servers if they plan to serve food food soon, but I forgot to do so...

Another good thing from the night: I finally found the Banawe branch of Greeka Kouzina! 128522

After a very disappointing dinner at a diner somewhere, we quickly decided that we needed something to make up for the lousy meal we just had. Since mom and I haven’t been to Parvati yet, there we went.

It’s indeed a one stop dessert shop and they help home-based bakers market their products without worrying about opening their own stores.

The Frozen Brazo (Small - Php 250) is layered like a ref cake, the meringue on top, custard filling, ice cream (which varies, in this case, mango ice cream) and the graham crust.

The light meringue and sweet and creamy custard filling are addicting enough. What more if you add ice cream!

Even my mom who tried the Frozen Brazo loved it. We’re definitely coming back! 128077
