Salad - really good! The mango purée dressing was very delicious!

Pastas - simple but flavorful! I like the spaghetti vs penne.

Pizza - their best seller. Not at par with my expectations but totally not bad. They've got good toppings though.

It's been a while since I last set foot in shangrila mall. I had a party to attend somewhere near but was an hour early. To kill time, i decided to eat dinner.

I went to the floor just beneath the cinemas because I haven't tried most of the restaurants there. Unfortunately or fortunately for Pasto, and this is going to sound bad, I chose the restaurant with the least number of people in it. The other restaurants were a bit packed. Also, i remembered that I needed one more italian resto to get a badge. So two birds with one stone.

I got the scampi appetizer and a pollo panini.

Basically shrimps sauteed with garlic and chili from what I observed. I think it's a bit too pricey for the dish. It costs P245. Found the plating a bit weird, using a vegetable leaf as a "placemat" for the shrimp bowl. The shrimps were cooked well but wish i got more bread.

Pollo Panini
Is it just me or they really love putting lettuce to fill up spaces in their dish. Their panini occupied less than half the plate and so to compensate, i think they just laid out a vegetable, spread it out, then covered it with japanese mayo. Panini was great and very filling! My only suggestion to customers would be not to open the panini and look inside. The moment you do that, you might feel a bit disappointed with the amount if ingredients in one panini. And of course after saying not to look, you probably looked. Probably lang naman. Grilled chicken, with asparagus spears, and tomatoes: combo is great.

I was seated beside the bar. Every time someone ordered a shake, it was painful to the ears. The blender was really near my right ear.

Service was great. Given the size of the place, i think their service was superb.

That's it for now. Take care everyone!

I must say, cheapest Italian Restaurant.

For my drinks, i ordered the Cafe Granita, an ice blended coffee with chocolate on top. 128076🏻

For appetizer, we ordered Cardini Salad. It's just a Caesar salad so there's nothing speacial with it just an ordinary salad. 128077🏻

For our main course, i ordered Romano, it is a breaded chicken breast with mushroom-gorgonzola sauce and rice/pasta on the side. For my boyfriend, he got the La Copia, the combination of steak and Shrimp and comes with rice/pasta.

All in all, sooooooo Goooood! 128079🏻128077🏻128149

Pasto will always be a good place to dine in if you want to grab some pizza or pasta. Generally cheaper compared to the others and serving is usually bigger too. 128512
