Food was good, although I enjoyed them better when it was still Kusina Salud. The prices on the menu does not include vat and service charge, be prepared to add 22% to the prices listed.

I booked for my husband's birthday dinner here last weekend, and we were surprised to have the entire place to ourselves! I found out that it's actually more of a lunch place. It was cool though. We liked the setting of dining in an ancestral house with old music playing in the background. Staff was nice and very friendly. We had a lot of food that night too! We pre-ordered their fried combo platter with the veggie lumpia, lumpia g shanghai and meatballs, the kulawo which is like kinilaw na talong, paku salad, bistek tagalog, adobo and for dessert we has the fried suman with mangoes, turon and got a free birthday cake! Whee! I lived the bistek tagalog and the fries suman the best! 128513

Im sooo glad this place reopened. Ive eaten here once and I was blown away by the food they served. Modern Filipino food was still a beginning concept when this used to be Kusina Salud.

I tried going here 2x after that. One time to regretfully see it was closed and the second time sadly being informed it was permanently closed.

Still very homey. The place is more open now, it looks like 1 big dining area already with really high ceilings. You can roam around the garden look at their collection of live birds. They have a small shop with fabric, icons and china.

Pako salad was very fresh. Had cheese on it and creamy dressing. Lumpiang ubod was fried and crunchy. My son loved it. He didn't notice the lack of meat. Tilapia had a light coconut sauce with lemongrass and mangoes. They even had pandan coffee.

Sayang lang the only dessert available was the crepe. It was good but I wanted some suman.

Im just really glad this place reopened. Thanks to Chili G for posting this. They are closed on Mondays and prefer you call for their dinner service.

I don't know what it is about San Pablo but this place, despite no affiliation to it, feels so much like home to me, my husband and my kids. We always feel welcome here. If you get to stay here til the evening, do look up. The sky is clearer and the stars so much brighter here.

Props again to Roegan T for the quick update! This is my aunt's garden and we've been going here since we were little. Had another opportunity to visit a couple of weeks ago for her birthday. It's about an hour and a half away from alabang, quite near villa escudero.
If you love nature, you will totally love this place. It's just like stepping into a secret garden with a lot of decorative pieces hidden here and there. There are some beautiful birds as well.
The menu is typically local fare which is good too. Nothing super special but the breezy ambience makes up for it. Try to drop by when you're in San Pablo city 128522
