Putok Batok Moment! Perfect for the cold weather!

You'll never go wrong with Kansi Bulalo. Napakasarap! Meat is tender. Huge serving of Bone Marrow all to yourself! (Unless you want to share pero for sure mabibitin ka 128513) Don't worry they will provide you with the necessary utensils to extract all the putok-batok goodness inside. 128513 Get ready to be messy though.

Place is that of a Carinderia. No airconditioning but with electric fans, which is perfect because otherwise the soup and marrow will curdle. Baka di pa sumasayad sa labi mo e sebo na 128514

If you're not too adventurous and you don't want to be messy, try the Kansi Laman. 128536

Did I also mention that it is Unli-Sabaw? Sa kakahingi ko ng sabaw binigyan na ako ni ate ng isang malaking bowl na puro sabaw 128514 Solb!

P155 for a bowl of kansi (Ilongo bulalo)
I used to get it w bone but have recently shifted to deboned ... No effort , high blood to the max !
Also try the fresh lumpia P50 (chilled and no sarsa needed)
The inihaw na liempo P90
And for dessert , leche flan

The go to place when habagat winds bring cold wet weather .

Be ready to wait a few minutes as Patpat's is always full on weekdays .
But the wait is worth it.

Never mind that not so pleasing interiors, Patpat's Kansi is all about the food. I have never left this place without a full stomach. The kansi here is so good, well not as delicious as the one at Island Chicken Inasal but still oh so very good.

Even the inasal chicken here is delicious despite being a small serving. Also they have the sauceless lumpiang ubod, which is small and sweet.

I just love going to this place and already I'm taking my friends here one by one. And the best thing about it, it's around the neighborhood where I live.

Also the price of the food is cheap, and the staff is very responsive.

Why would others love this place?

Simple. Kansi. One of the best I've tried. Grilled Pusit is also a must try. As well as sisig! Heck, order everything! Its affordable and delish.

Perfect for a rainy day!!!

Hot Bone Kansi! Not scalding hot...just enough to warm the stomach on a cold night the time we went there.

Another plus is that it is just walking distance from where we live.

Will definitely go back to try their other offerings like the barbecue.

Serving crew are nice and friendly. Service is brisk, too, especially if its rush hour.

Kansi bulalo is far best my favorite! Tried the grilled pusit and grilled liempo earlier. The liempo was good and so was the pusit, it was not gummy as I expected so thumbs up- but, very small servings and the order of the pusit has like one half pusit and one half onion. Uh oh.

Also ordered their blueberry cheesecake (55 pesos), which I order every single time. And honestly, I was a bit disappointed. It was now smaller and has less flavor. But still good, though I miss their old recipe and serving size.

Definitely one of my favorite Ilonggo dishes, perfect for the rainy season!!

Adan's in a perpetual search for the best bulalo...and this food trip led us to this karinderya type place with a different twist to the classic soup.

Kansi is the Ilonggo version of bulalo. You can choose between Kansi bulalo (bones and marrow) and Kansi laman. I got the laman 128077 the meat was very good and tender 128046 but, it was the broth that took it home for me. It had the beefy flavor and it was a bit sour. Not like sinigang, but, not quite bulalo...it was unique and hearty...reminds me of early morning food run after a night of hard partying...this one is a perfect hangover cure 128520

You have to pinch the marrow with the BBQ sticks.

Affordable bulalo without sacrificing the flavor.

Some of my friends dont like this bulalo because of its kansi flavor. "Maasim"

Will definitely be back on rainy season 9786
