For the much needed sweetness, my friends and I decided to visit Paul. I love how quiet, peaceful, calm, and relaxing this branch is. If I only have all the money in the world, I'ld love to have breakfast or merienda here (Or just go and visit France? 128517). Anyway, if you want some quiet time alone or with a friend, this is a good place to consider. Just on the pricey side but it's good to reward yourself once in a while. 1285219786

Ordered our all time favorite - Eclair aux fraises (Strawberry Eclair) and then tried the Millefeiulle chocolate (Chocolate Napoleon).

The strawberry eclair, as always, was super gooooooood. Heaven in every bite. Soft and crunchy pastry, sweet fresh strawberries, and creamy light whipped cream! Strawberry yummy! 128518 I honestly love this dessert. 128525127827

The chocolate napoleon, on the other hand, was good as well. Any chocolate lover would enjoy this one. Thick chocolate filling. I like that this was not too sweet. 127851 They also have plain, mango and strawberry versions. The mango's good! 128521

You can pair both with a cup of coffee or tea. 128513128076🏼

Loved Paul ever since I tried their food in Aura, and still love it now even if in a different branch!
Ordered my usual Thé surprise (320php) and tried their Poulet et Champignon Pasta (295php). As usual, I loved my Thé surprise!!! The macarons are really good, as they're a baby of Ladureé's. The creme brulee creamy as ever, not too sweet, so good I cant even hide my smile whilst I had it, not to mention I was alone and smiling widely!!! The chocolate cake fudgier than before, yum! How I miss the treats they offer. I really love Paul. Their desserts have the right amount of sugar, not overpowering at all. The four fruits tea is so good as well! They do fruity teas well.

The pasta was also good, not salty at all, serving is huge for the price! I couldnt even finish it. I loved how big the mushrooms were.

Of course the ambiance is perfect! Next time, I'll come earlier to get a good seat with good lighting! And really try their desserts. I must veer away from my favorite--Thé surprise!

Impeccable service. Place is clean! Dont mind walking under the scorching sun from the fort strip to this area just for this!

Paul's croissant is one if not the best you can have. Flaky and buttery. Couple this with brewed coffee and we are good to go.

I forgot to take pictures but their foods are instagram/looloo worthy. The colorful dishes with perfect platings, you can already tell they're delicious. The moment it was served on our table, we knew it would be perfect. The staff are nice, they are fast and clean.

If you love dessicated coconut, you'll love this Coconut Flan! I'm a huge fan of dessicated coconut - as in the ones from the macaroons.

This one has dessicated coconut mixed in inside a dense body of flan (?). It's not like leche flan but the consistency is almost like that of a chewy / rubbery cheesecake. Does that make sense? It's also not that sweet which is also why I like it!

I love the crust, too. Not burnt and pretty thick!

The slice they give you is pretty huge so be ready to share with someone ...although this one I ate all by myself woooohooo. 128588 #baboydiaries

Done with our afternoon salon appointment nearby, we decided to have some coffee here. The array of breads and pastries greeted us as we walked in. I ended up having a chicken sandwich on baguette with my iced americano ( the afternoon being so hot!) and my daughter having a capuccino. The baguette was crunchy and chewy, with tomatoes and lettuce with the chicken fillets. I liked the iced coffee which was strong but not bitter. The cappucino was smooth and creamy. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxed vibe of the cafe and will surely try out their other dishes soon.

My friends and I were looking for a place to chill and catch up. Well, just for an hour. Office lunch break. 128584 Haha

We're not so hungry so we decided to have croissant, and macarons, and tea, and coffee at Paul. While browsing on the menu I saw Paul's burger, but since I'm full, I didn't care enough to give it a try. Then when I called the waiter, I asked for an iced mint tea + Paul's burger, well-done. Slip of the tongue, maybe? Hahaha. Yup, I am this weird creature who's always eating even when full. No judgement, please. 128541

I love dining at Paul. It's quiet, and very cozy. Good for intimate conversations with friends. I also love their chandeliers. Very grand and elegant.

Staff were very accommodating. They even suggested what food to eat.

They also have their take-out counter if you would like bread-croissant-dessert-cake on the go. Haha. The huge macaron is really interesting. I've actually tried their pistachio macaron shake before, but it's just not for me. 128584

P.S. They serve complimentary bread with butter and jam. Very classic!

For a pretty expensive chocolate waffle (Almost 200 I think), I was expecting I'd forget my name or cry a single tear lol. But no, this was just okay.

The waffle had good texture for sure, not too crispy and also soft on the inside. The chocolate sauce was also not overly sweet so it wasn't cloying. The size is pretty decent, too.

The waffle batter though was bland. Maybe that's how it should be? Not so sure. Either way, I didn't think it was worth the price I paid for it. You're better off getting their croissants.

Paul's macarons are more "authentic" as I told my aunt, since their flavors are more traditional, and its...consistency? Is more...consistent. WHAT ARE THESE WORDS!

Anyway, after buying croissants one time for my lola and her Swedish husband one time, they now really like Paul. They have European tastes, after living in Belgium for the last 20+ years. My aunt went and bought some macarons for me to try, and they were good! I was deceived by the white one, though. Thought it was vanilla but it was...coconut. BLEGH.

I adore Paul's packaging! Their boxes are simple but elegantly designed, and their big takeaway box is...a little Paul boulangerie! AWW.

What do you do when you have so much work to do with so little time to finish it and you can't take it anymore? You leave and have a break. 128518128521

Because there was too much to do and accomplish last week and we were so stressed, we decided to treat slash reward ourselves with a nice afternoon merienda here at Paul. 9786

There's really something about French restaurants and its ambiance and "feels" that's so relaxing, calming, and nakakakilig -- uhmmm siguro kasi it's super pretty and elegant hihi! 9786️ Eating here feels like you're transported somewhere beautiful! 128525

Of course, we ordered our forever favorite/best dessert ever -- The Amazing Strawberry Eclair!! 128525 this is really really really good and grabe!!! 128077🏼 I had a cup of Cappuccino while my officemate tried their Hot Chocolate, then we added an order of the Chocolate Croissant. 128513

The hot chocolate was just okay. Too rich and chocolatey. I still prefer La Creperie's 128525 The cappucino was good, not too strong. But nothing special, as well. And the croissant was ughh good! Flaky croissant with chocolate!!!! 10084

Service was good. Servers were all attentive, approachable, and friendly. We really had a nice merienda break here!! 128525128076🏼

Honestly, I make better salads. My friends pasta didn't look that inspiring either. Bread was very nice though. All in all, nice looking place but the food is a bit blah.

Lunch at Paul yesterday. The place was quite classy. Price of the food is reasonable. I sampled the poullette clubhouse and I found it tastier than other clubhouse samdwiches. The mushroom omelet was too rich for my pallette. The onion soup was ok. The orange carrot and ginger shake is a must try. Nicely blended perfectly mxed flavor and most importantly it's sugar free!

Ham and Cheese Croissant, Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Sandwich and Hot Green Tea for breakfast, please? 128513 Last week, my friend and I decided to eat breakfast here. We wanted something light and healthy. The croissant was super soft and cheesy and oh so good! The side salad was light and refreshing! 10084️ Service was excellent as the servers were all nice and attended to all our requests. They were fast in refilling our water as well. Definitely a good way to start the day! 9728

This is the more expensive version of the salad I normally DIY at Juju Eats.

I ordered their Salmon Salad but switched the salmon out with tuna.

So really, what I get is their tuna salad with French beans, mixed greens, eggs, and olives. I take the tomatoes out because 128567.

A bit pricey at Php 350 a bowl but the serving size is pretty hefty and it actually tastes good/fresh so in this case, I don't mind.

Service is also pretty good. Place gets packed though when lunch time comes around so either come early or come late!

PS. Their complimentary bread here stays true to the authentic French experience. Cold and tough! 128514

I had Crepes Champignons, I was bland. Cafe Breton's better. It was supposed to have emmenthal cheese, gatlic, shallots, but i didnt taste the emmenthal cheese, not even the garlicky flavor.

Service was ok and the ambience is also okay. They close at 9pm and we stayed until 10pm as our group was still chatting animatedly and they let us stay.

My friends ordered Chicken Salad and Pizza and they werent satisfied as well.

The 3 stars are for the service and ambience. Will stick to their breads and pastries next time and aboid the hot foods.
