Ordered the chicken clubhouse and burger. Clubhouse was big and satisfying. Burger was also good but the patty was a bit red-not really because of the doneness (i prefer my burger medium)

Salmon, my love, preferably raw or smoked. PHP250 and worth it for dine in cause you get salad and potatoes for a minimal additional fee. Crunchy outside soft inside bread and generous salmon slices! Good service too. My glass was never empty (water).

After being on the road for 2 hours and haven't eaten lunch, my sister and I decided to grab some food here.

I ordered Chicken Sandwich (195pesos) and she ordered Paillasson Champignons (230pesos) - French version of hash brown with mushrooms and veggies.

Then we ordered desserts:
Choco Brioche Flan (140pesos) it's like bread pudding with chocolate bits 128523
Flan Nature (150pesos) we were expecting it to have a creamy texture but it was like jelly type of mixture. It was still delicious 128076🏼

We had an afternoon tea at this place while waiting for the movie to start. Winner for me would be the Mango Napoleon or Millefeuille (hope I spelled it correctly) 128540. I really like its warm puff pastry.

The macarons & creme brûlée were both good, while the chocolate & coffee éclairs were just okay. There's nothing special with chocolate cake, but it's a good pair for tea or coffee.

Service is prompt and courteous 128522 I'll try their savory dishes nexy time.

I've been going gaga over Bo's pistachio frappe. So when I saw Paul has pistachio macaron frappe - I wanted to stage ala Jayson J "honeycreme vs mcdo sundae" showdown for the best pistachio frappe!

I was aware though that this is a macaron-based drink and I don't like macarons as they are just too sweet for me.

Texture-wise: Paul has finer consistency while Bo's was nuttier.
Price-wise: almost equivalent. I think Bo's was more expensive by php5-10.
Taste-wise: both has great pistachio flavors but Bo's was better as it is basically pistachio frappe, vs a macaron one

The verdict? Go for Bo's! Paul's was just too sweet 128513128513128513128513 it's a holiday drink for Bo's though, so that's another consideration. Try it, before ma-u-Bo's 128514128514128514

The place was packed when we visited Sunday early afternoon but we only waited a few minutes for our table. The servers were very attentive. They have a big menu but we only came here for coffee and desserts.

I had the Coupe Macaron which is a cup of 3 small scoops of ice cream (vanilla and chocolate, but you can choose the flavor/s you want) topped with whipped cream and a piece of small macaron (flavor of choice - chocolate). For my drink, I had the mint iced tea.

Mint iced tea was fine for me. Just a hint of sugar/syrup. The mint flavor was subtle too. The Coupe Macaron was kinda just a normal ice cream dessert really. The macaron was okay. I liked it but it is still not the best macaron I've tasted. It was too chewy (thick) for my taste. I prefer it a bit airy, crispy thin outer layer and chewy inner layer.

My friends had coffee and brownies/eclair. The coffee cups were small (for a coffee addict 128540) so baka mabitin lang. The desserts were nice. I'd probably visit here again if only to try their meals. Side note, we saw Team Kramer (minus Cheska) here but the dolls were sleeping on their yayas' laps. Sayang.

Be prepared to throw away all your money here. Prices are steep, but worth it I suppose. Ordered their creme brûlée, strawberry tart, and upon the recommendation of the manager [?], the almond croissant. Everything was good, but the standout was definitely the croissant. It was crumbly, moist and crunchy at the same time. 128525 It's a bit sweet though, but the small serving size helped lol. The tart's sweetness was perfectly balanced out by those strawberries. Speaking of, I asked the manager where they got them, because as far as I know the strawberries grown here are tiny compared to the ones they used. Trade secret daw (darn! 128541). The creme brûlée was okay. Their servings as I mentioned, are tiny but filling. Pretty good overall. 128077🏼

Their vanilla tea was awesome! Quite busy for early dinner on a Friday but felt we were never rushed as we enjoyed our own orders.

A meal is not a happy meal without dessert. I usually crave for sweets after a good meal. I just need to have my sweet ending (unless if I had a salmon sashimi overload for lunch or dinner). And last Friday, I had a good dinner but still had room for dessert so we went to SM Aura to visit…

Paul Patisserie and Boulangerie! It has been a while!

I still remember the sweet goodness I ordered last year and just thinking about it now makes me drool.

This time, J and I ordered the following: Tartelette Citron (PHP210), Éclair Chocolat (PHP160), Milleuille Mango (PHP150) and two Grand Café (PHP115/cup).

First served was the Milleuille Mango and it was pretty good. The lovely Napoleon was soft and creamy. The mango slices and puree made it even more delectable.

Next served was the Tartlette Citron. We originally ordered the one with meringue but they ran out of it. So we decided to get the one without. It was citrusy with a lovely crunch from the crust. It was surprisingly delightful.

The Ă©clair though was pretty ordinary to me. But it was quite big and the smooth cream filling and rich chocolate cover were good.

The coffee was just right. The bitterness of the coffee offsets the sweetness of the desserts we ordered. I am starting to really love black coffee. <3

Overall, it was a nice way to end the night. I can’t wait to try the other desserts and Paul’s savory dishes.

Got their chocolate croissant, chocolate mousse, and the chocolate tart. Chocolate heaven! My favorite was the chocolate tart. Intense chocolate. All the pastries went well with the english breakfast tea.

We got here 9:45pm and practically begged the servers to allow us to order a cup of cappuccino and pastries since most stores were closing already. They were kind enough to accommodate us but while choosing from their wide selection of desserts.. A tiny cockroach was enjoying his food too. We called the attention of the servers and they calmly said, "sige po tatanggalin nalang namin." So ano, yun lang??!! I doubt they'll remove all the pastries naman diba. The waiter even told me na he can accept my orders na. Hello???! I obviously backed out and told them, nandidiri ako. Hahaha! Do something about this, guys!

Taken a few days ago, this perhaps would be the only place open in SM Aura before 10am. It's one of the expansions of Bench into the food market with the cafe from France.

Upon entering the place, quite clear that it will be expensive from the decors to the custom furniture. Probably one of the more expensive non buffet breakfast joints I've eaten in.

I was wondering what type of rating to put in, on one hand I ate an omelette with ham so the taste can only differ so much from other places, but I was looking for something to justify the price. What disappointed me though was the potatoes on the side that came with the dish. There were cold - perhaps not even freshly prepared. Probably it was just heated as to why it was cold on the inside.

The bread though was full wheat and was probably the nicest part of the meal. I also got a croissant which is freshly made as you can see them making it but that by itself was also quite pricey at Php175 for about 4 bites.

Café Surprise is Paul's version of a coffee-dessert platter. It comes with your choice of coffee or cappuccino, mini crème brúlée, a slice of their moist chocolate cake and 2 mini macarons of your choice.

At P310, it's worth it. Plus, they serve fresh, good-tasting black coffee. 128077🏻

So I tried Paul because I LOVE bread and pastries. A sign of a genuine french bakery for me is the quality of their croissant. I love French baker's croissant because it's so flaky and buttery which should be the sign of authenticity. What I received from Paul's didn't quite hit the mark. Smells wonderful, shiny flaky outside, and yummy buttery taste. BUT that's where it stopped. Where are the layers?! Where is that distinct "crisp" when you bite in?! Where is the mess when you eat a croissant?! NONE. It could be due to the fact that it was near closing time but still. I was soooo disappointed I don't want to try any of their offerings anymore. Maybe next time if it's for free, but until then...

First time to try it and was satisfied :)
A little bit pricey for a French Patissèrie.
I ordered Paillasso. Saumòn Fumè and my daughter, something with tomatoes and cheese. Our gastronomic cravings for french cuisine was a wish granted. Still i prefer asian food. 127860

Parents brought me here today after our Greek lunch. They told me Paul is everywhere in Europe and they tried it there when they had their Europe vacay way back 2013.

I ordered their Speculoos cappucino then for something to munch: strawberry eclair, choco crepe, creme brulee, and napoleon. Speculoos cappucino is good but it was too sweet! 128533128513 I liked the creme brulee and strawberry eclair. I only had few bites from each. 128523 Summer's coming so I gotta slow down with food and limit the sugar intake. Lol

I wanna go back for other pastries. 128525 No idea why, but awhile ago, I didn't like that I could smell some savory dish while I was eating desserts. Idk. I'm too sensitive today. 128553

Place is not a perfect one to "chill" tho. It was too open and it was noisy inside.
