Great clubhouse sandwich!

But unfortunately, doors have been closed permanently. Already a different establishment when I passed by yesterday.

Ordered Red Christmas Tea and Chocolate Custard Cake (if my memory serves me right) on a rainy afternoon. Perfect combination!

I'm not really a tea person but Mary Rose L has acquired a new addiction to tea so no choice. 128517

The tea was on the "light" side and relaxing. Tasted like Christmas. It's not peppermint flavored though which I liked but you can still taste the candy flavor.

The cake was not too sweet and tasted chocolatey. Nothing really special though. But I think it's a good match with the tea.

I actually enjoyed my afternoon tea time. I'll be coming back to try their other desserts and dishes.

The husband and I were looking for a nice place for some dessert and coffee after dinner on a Saturday night and I remembered reading a good review about Paume's on a blog not too long ago so away we went.

We were welcomed by bright and cheerful interiors and an equally bright display chiller showcasing their cakes and pastries. We ordered a slice of their tiramisu cake, some bread pudding, a caramel frappe and a salted caramel iced coffee.

The coffees were seriously good - better, dare I say, than the ones in more popular coffee joints. A big disappointment were the desserts though: the tiramisu cake was dry and lacked any distinct flavor. The bread pudding, while slightly better than the cake, was just average.

Service was alright - the baristas/servers were attentive but lacked a genuine warmth. Tolerable. I would say.

Overall, I'm giving Paume's 4 stars because of the coffee. We may stop by again but only for a cup of joe but would be skipping on the baked goods.

Look at that generous amount of bacon! This is probably one of the best carbonaras I've ever had. So rich and creamy! And for P180, it's a good steal!

Affordable, their pasta was good. Cakes are not that sweet but something you'll definitely enjoy. :) it's a good place to hangout with friends.

This French inspired cafe and bakery is another gem in the BF area. Coffee is superb and the food and desserts/pastries are just as good. They close at 1am which makes them an ideal choice for a relaxing cup and midnight snack!

Would highly recommend their affogato (espresso poured over ice cream and baked brownie bits) and their seafood vodka pasta 128077128077128077

Tried Paume's weeks ago after eating at The Burgery for dessert. So this is a late review. 128517

Tried their chocolate cake and milo dinosaur. Sweetness overload!

The chocolate cake was okay. Nothing special. I was hoping it to be moist but it's not.

I liked the milo dinosaur. I mean, I like all milo dinosaurs, haha! It's not too sweet as other milo dinosaurs I've tried. I'm guessing this one has no condensed milk? Not sure.

Ambiance is nice. It's homey, simple but elegant.

I was able to park easily as well. Probably because I visited this place in the afternoon. I think it only has 2 or 3 parking slots. But since it's at front of Puregold, you can park there and just cross the street. 128515

According to my coffee drinking bf, their coffee was good but a bit acidic, I don't know much about coffee but my iced mocha was a bit strong but good. We had the brioche which was moist but not in a good way, it was like.. Wet. Ugh. I had the roast beef sandwich that should've been called roast onion sandwich as it had more onions than beef. The bun was a bit tough too. Such a shame as it had good flavor though. On the other hand, I would recommend their pasta. We tried the carbonara and It had a very generous serving of sauce and lotsa bacon! It was really yummy. I think I'll give this place another chance and I'm eyeing on the spicy sardines pasta and some cakes/pastries.

Their moist chocolate cake has evolved and it got even better! It's a bit softer now and has a more balanced sweetness.

I like the slow music that they play now which fits the relaxing vibe of the place.

I've been wanting to try cold brew coffee for a long time and I am so glad I found this new pastry house. Their cold brew coffee is good and still has the fruity flavors and notes that you'll get from a hot brew it's just not as strong. I'd say it's "swabe".

From what I've read cold brew is best for acidic coffee lovers like me and so far I think it's working.

I also got a slice of their moist chocolate cake and it was so good. It was moist and so dense just how I want my cake to be. The best part is it only costs P60!

This will be my go-to place for coffee from now on.
