Great rustic ambiance. Great traditional and continental dishes as well. Their basket Chicken is a must try: native chicken fried the way Max's would have their chicken, then the broth used for making the It tender is served as side soup. Their schnitzels are something the kids will love. Good service. A bit pricey though but for the ambiance and the experience it is worth trying out.

Even if you've been to Boracay many times, it's a huge chance that you haven't ate here. This is what they call "the hidden pearl of Boracay". True to what it's called, it is really hidden. It's not along the beach front, where most restaurants are, also not in D'Mall or D'Talipapa. To get there, you'll need to pass a walkway (eskenita) that looks like a tunnel near the beach front, in between Deparis resort and Boracay Mandarin resort. Once through the tunnel, just walk straigh until you see a small walkway on your left, it's just a few steps away from there.

Once there, you'll be amazed by what you'll see. It's like an oasis in the middle of the island. Then , you'll need to leave your flip flops at the entrance because the whole restaurant has wood floor and they keep it really shing. This gives you a feel of eating in a typical house in the province. The place is really good. You'll be sitted on the wooden floor and the waiters will be there immediately to assist and recommend food.

For the food, most of their meals are good for a bug group of people. For example, they only serve one whole chicken per order and it is priced depending on it's weight. It's a bit pricey. But if you are a group of 10 or more, then it's just fine. They serve various types of cuisine, they have Filipino, American, German and Italian food. It would just depend on your appetite.

Best thing I like about Pau Patri is the ambience. It's really a relaxing place to have a meal after all the fun you have on the island.
