Good Korean food! It's also really affordable. One order of your preferred meat which ranges from 180-220 pesos comes along with unlimited sides (soup, salad, kimchi and greens). Each table has one hot plate and burner. You get to cook what you ordered but if you don't want to cook it yourself then you can have it cooked in their kitchen. Their bowl of rice is a bit pricey, it costs 50 pesos each so I suggest you don't order rice. Anyway you'll get full with the meat you'll eat plus the sides.

I've tried both branches, they serve unlimited side dishes.. i love their kimchi..i like the fact they let you cook samgyeopsal on your own because some korean restaurants don't let you..i prefer their branch in Banilad..i think they have more dishes to offer..you can eat in private..and you get to "squat" which adds to the korean touch ;)

This is my first Korean culinary experience. I think it was just right that we ordered the safest thing to eat on the menu, the Pork Samgeupsal. At 160 pesos, it already comes with a plate of bacon strips, lettuce and cabbage wraps, kimchi, a bowl of spicy soup and korean coleslaw (FYI I am only making up their names because I don't know what they are called). Their rice though is a bit expensive which costs 50 pesos for a small bowl.

The Food:
128055Samgyupsal - I was expecting the pork to be marinated or seasoned at least but It was still good especially with its condiment - a korean sauce, and oil with salt and pepper. (After some research, I read that Samgyupsal is supposed to be served uncured, and usually served with Ssamjang (pepper paste) and Gireumjang (sesame oil with salt and pepper))

127792Kimchi - I didn't eat too much since I was enjoying the pork. I would've liked it if it was sweet.

127861The Soup and Coleslaw - 128528

Over-all the place and the experience was ok.

*we ordered the short plate, top blade, & bulgogi; no one ordered pork
*unlimited side dishes, soup, & water; you can also ask for chilli paste and wet towels
*service was okay; prices were affordable; not the cleanest resto; place doesn't seem to have ac, so, be prepared to sweat; everyone enjoyed dinner
*koreans and locals eat here
