Had lunch with my sister and her friend at Pepper Lunch. Beef pepper rice is my personal fave here. The place is huge and the service is fast, their crews are very approachable, too.

We had our lunch here. The staff are very polite and accommodating and guess what the ice cream served here is bigger than the UP Town Center branch.

Too awesome! I love Cebu already!

I'm in love with this place! Why? Their dishes sizzle! As in you're gonna mix everything in a scalding, sizzler plate and wait till it gets cooked evenly. It's so entertaining. I somehow suddenly miss Korean restaurants. They do not lack in the taste department either because it is so meaty and flavorful and the enticing aroma emanating from every customers dish teases your taste buds you feel like the glands under your tongue are swollen. Haha! A bit pricey still but the staff are accommodating, I can comfortably address them by their nameplate and, though small, I am seated well.

My cousin and her husband is a huge fan of Pepper Lunch. And I don't see why. The price is okay. Affordable.

I've always been a fan of any pepper steak food because the first time I had it was with someone special 10084128522

Try their kani salad which has kani and udon in it. Yum! 128149

I had their chicken & salmon. It was great. This cud be a 5 star, but it was somewht hot inside the resto. i think it was due to the hot grill "dish" that they were serving.

Too much hype about this resto. Never got to try this in Manila due to the long queues. Finally got to try it here in Cebu since the queue earlier was a bit shorter? Haha!

We ordered three different dishes: Double Salmon, Garlic beef and the Hamburg steak. All were good but I had to say the Hamburg steak was the best among the three.

Service was okay. Had to wait in line and had to wait for our food. Too much waiting! 128532 All worth it though, the food was superb and satisfying! 128076

Prices are reasonable except for the bottled water that cost P44 each. Just for water? 128530

Overall, would come back and try the other dishes! 9786

Pepper Lunch has always been a favorite of mine. I was first introduced to it in 2008, when it first opened in Manila. There would always be long queues at any Pepper Lunch outlet - it was crazy! But once I got a taste of it, I understood completely. It was like love at first bite! 10084128521

I was so ecstatic to learn about Pepper Lunch opening a branch here in Cebu! As predicted, long queues during opening week, and even up to this day. Food quality, I would say, is not as good as in Manila. Some beef strips had too much "ugat" (which means veins). Service was not very commendable either. I have eaten there 4 times since it's opening, and on all 4 occasions, my food arrived about 20-30 mins after ordering. Some of the waiters were also very rude -- there was this instance when some equally rude lady just hogged on the line. She didn't move nor tell anyone to go ahead. She was just there, waiting, sitting on a chair in front of the line. Soon, a table was cleared and so logically, it would be time for her to move and have her orders taken. That was not the case. My sister and I waited for a good 15 minutes, but neither did she tell us to go ahead nor did she move at all. Annoyed, my sister and I went inside and proceeded to the cashier. Suddenly, a very rude waiter told the cashier not to entertain me and my sister. We asked why not, and the rude waiter said because the lady in the front of the line was first and that she was still waiting for her companions to arrive -- arrive what time? Nobody knew. Now to me, that's just plain stupid. It's such a waste of time if this system would have been followed. My sister and I put on our bitch faces and slightly argued with the waiter. "So unsa man, mag huwat lang gyud mi tanan nag linya diri ana niya?! Unya ug 1 hour pa maabot iyang mga kauban?!" (So are you saying we will all just have to wait here!? What if her companions don't arrive until after an hour!?) The cashier was kinder and took our orders anyway and gave us a table.

To the Pepper Lunch Management team, I hope you do something about this. This joint should implement the 'first come, first serve' policy.

In totality though, it's always great dining at Pepper Lunch. Service was saved by good food! I would definitely dine here again, only for the food.

Pre-valentine's date lunch spent at Pepper Lunch. The queque was crazy! I didn't think they'll have a lot of people dinning in but I was wrong. Maybe because they are new? I wonder why Sizzlin' Pepper Steal didn't get much attention as Pepper Lunch. They're kind of basically the same in concept, right? They're both Japanese sizzling joints and they serve quite the same food.

Had Curry beef Pepper Rice with Cheese because cheese. Hahaha and it was good! Didn't know cheese and curry can taste ok together. But I think it would be great if cheese is paired with teriyaki. (Sweet and salty?)
The boyfie had the terriyaki beef pepper with egg because egg. Hahahaha we're crazy, I know. I had a spoonful of it and it was good! I should have ordered it. But I don't know if we can just pay additional fee for the cheese. Doesn't say on their menu. But you can "upsize" your food and add egg for additional fee. 128522

They have a sauce, two of which, one is honey somethinf and the other is something. Hahaha this is only to inform you that a sauce is available on the table. Different from Sizzlin' Pepper Steak. Ok? 128513

They are still in their soft opening so I think I'll give them another shot but for now I prefer Sizzlin' Pepper Steak over Pepper Lunch 'cause I feel I can customize my food more over there. 128522
