Wanted to try this for so long-- lucky the Bons (New Business Partner) loves it here!

Ordered Beef Pepper Rice, and asked for chili powder and I like the sweet sauce more compared to the salty one.

It was perfect, 128525

Will go back with the CBF soon! 128514

Pepper lunch is an oldie but goodie; always a good suggestion when we can't think of a restaurant or when we are in a hurry or when we are too lazy to think of other options. Their product is consistent across their many branches, so you know what to expect when ordering.

The rice meals are affordable, though with bitin portion sizes for me. I always feel the need to upsize the beef pepper rice-- more rice and more beef!128515 I just alternate between beef pepper rice and the one with garlic. Everytime I order, I always look forward to my first bite. Then the one thing I always forget to do is to wait for the food to cool down!

Don't forget to mix it all up and drench it in sauce to get even flavors!🙂

I was in a hurry to grab a snack before heading to Mandaluyong. Saw this Shake Shake Salad (99Php) and it wasn't worth the price I paid for. They could have added more greens.

I love how this place gives you the freedom to have your food the way you want it. Plus it gives that interactive feeling since you get to cook your own dish. Their meat's really tender and it's so easy to cook it. Plus the attentive and really warm servers make the experience even more memorable. I recommend this place if you want to have a fun time. I was referred by Kuya J to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

We missed Pepper Lunch so much! When we were still staying in SG, we used to eat at Pepper Lunch after hearing our Sunday mass.

I love the concept and I love everything they serve. I think I tasted almost everything on their menu. But for yesterday, I ate their beef pepper rice.

It was lunch time and I just found myself trying this out in the food court area of Trinoma mall. Seems interesting because a lot of people lined up for orders.

I tried their Garlic Beef Pepper Rice for 175 pesos without drinks, seems reasonable enough.

Sizzling plate, indeed! Hot hot hot with paso! The combi of garlic and beef was superb. The amount of garlic placed on top of the rice was noticeable. Madami pa din! Knowing how expensive garlic these days. Ginto!

The interesting thing also is you'll get a chance to cook your beef the way you want it. Since it is served on a sizzling plate, the meat is not that cooked so much. So you just have to turn sides. Just a point for that one! 128516

Overall, I liked my experience in terms of food and service! 128077

I finally tried Pepper Lunch Express!

So after strolling the mall for at least 2 hours looking for a graduation dress, I decided to try Pepper Lunch Express.

I ordered the beef pepper lunch variant for P150. When I got it, I generously drizzled it with the honey something sauce. I was kinda panicking when I sat down and quickly snapped a photo because I was afraid that the heat from the hot plate might subside and that the other side of the beef toppings won't get cooked. So I flipped and flipped. I didn't want to get a stomach upset just because I didn't cook the food right. Anyways, at first I thought the serving of the beef wasn't enough for me to finish the rice. I mixed and mixed the whole dish to make sure the beef is well cooked and that the sauce is evenly distributed. I also sprinkled chili powder given to me.

When I first took a bite, the food was still so hot! After a few moments, I tried again and I was able to taste my food properly. HAHAHA! The rice was flavorful! I like the combination of the sauce and the kick of the chili powder. It wasn't that spicy. It was just right. I had a hard time eating my food because I was using chopsticks and the rice wasn't that sticky anymore (probably because of the huge amount of sauce I poured128541). My guess was right that the beef wasn't enough to finish my rice but the rice was so good you can eat it without any viand.

My tip for you guys is to eat it with spoon and fork so that it will be easier for you guys to mix and slice the food. 128521 HAHAHA

Would definitely want to try the other variants some other time. 128512

My first time to eat here was a not a good idea.. We are already starving and so excited to eat the food but the thing is It's still sizzling hot and we end up with our tongues in pain and just keep swallowing until we have finished. Its like eating food and never tasted anything...But I'll be happy to give this resto another try

While Pepper Lunch will never be as efficient as a food court choice as compared to being its own sit-down, pay-as-you-order restaurant, I will still choose between this and Army Navy when my family decides to lunch/dinner at the Trinoma food court.

Chicken Pepper Rice as always, no cheese this time, and a butt-load of Honey Brown sauce! I never go back to my table upon ordering, because I like to smother my food with the sauce the second it comes out. I forgo the little sauce containers, too, and just use the squeeze bottle to douse my chicken pepper rice like it's on fire (which it kind of is).

My mom noticed that while I often eat like a bird (di lang niya alam, sobrang takaw ko when it comes to select food items), I always finish my CPR (LOL what an acronym) down to the last grain of rice. LOL

I invited my travel buddies to hang out last Wednesday, just to start a great year to come. We decided to watch a comedy flick so we immediately bought our tickets for a sched of 21:40. Since there's more time before the film, we decided to have our dinner first before the Timezone mania, and the film of course.

We went at the Food court so we can have great choices of food. I decided to gave this a try and ordered for a Curry Chicken Pepper Rice with Cheese.

Since I love cheese, I expected to have more servings of it but i was wrong. Nyay! Sa toppings lang pala and quite bland pa yung cheese. The chicken parts (chicken cubes or chicken slices?) were good, and the rice was filled with pepper. Good for my taste!

My dad is always surprised that I end with a clean plate every time I decide to have Pepper Lunch at the Trinoma food court. Good stuff! Chicken pepper rice with extra cheese, oh yeah. Drowned in honey brown sauce!
