It's been more than a couple of months since I last visited Pepper Strings. The place generally looks the same. They still have a live band on weekends, which I was able to listen to. Not bad at all. But more importantly, they have a new menu on their drinks and with it comes new prices as well.

Of course, our first love Hangover is still there, and for people who think that it does not have enough kick, you can now try Hangover Part 2. If you really like to get drunk fast, try the Hangover Part 3. There are still a lot more new flavors to choose from, but we this time we were looking for something that doesn't smell like a girl's car a.k.a. car freshener type of drink. So we ordered the Stone Sour with their Sizzling Sisig.

The mixed drink, as it's description goes, "Is sweet. Is sour. Is addictive."

I do agree about the addictive part. It's like your backyard lemonade you drink in summer pool parties, except with a naughty alcoholic notch. It's a good ending to whatever drinks you had earlier before, since the sourness stimulates saliva production and it counteracts the vomiting syndrome alcoholics have when they had too much to drink. I would order this again.

As for the sisig, it wasn't as bad as the nachos that they served on my first review, but it wasn't the best either. It was presented really good, with a lot of onions (which I liked), topped with a raw egg and served on a steaming hot metal plate. The taste isn't that addictive. But it's okay.

The first time I went here was when my co-workers brought me. What I love about this place is that it serves a variety of mixed drinks for an affordable price. What I don't like about this place is that, one time, we went there, they didn't have several things we ordered on their menu. A unique thing about this place is that they serve spicy chicken wings and hold contests on who can finish the spiciest platter ever. Would you dare try it?
