First time to dine here. I like the ambiance, chill lang.

Ordered bahia, its one piece charcoal chicken, java rice and jalapeno fries (carbs on carbs, i know).

Chicken was tender and tasted good too. They gave me three sauces for the chicken, not sure though what they are exactly. Haha but i like the one that was sweet and spicy. The java rice was so good too, almost finished a cup! The fries on the other hand, were a bit salty, had to dip it in mayo to lessen the saltiness.

Maybe next time i come back here i should be with a friend or a group of friends so can try other food from their menu.

Service was fast naman kaya lang ang tagal bago nila ako nabigyan ng change.

Meron ba nito sa South or kahit sa middle earth a.k.a. Makati? Haha

Upon searching looloo 128522 nearby resto with carbonara from SB Commons were Peri Peri & Tipsy Pig. Tipsy Pig was almost full at around 2am so we settled at Peri Peri (closes at 3am).

We just ordered Carbonara (P225 + service charge) before calling it a day.

We were greeted by a staff and was assisted to our table. I asked for a warm & iced water.

We waited for more than 15mins before carbonara was served. It smells good, but it tasted ordinary. Kinda like cheap brand of cheese used. I think bacon is best used for their carbonara than the ham. I should have asked for salt & pepper and grated cheese.

We were not happy with our order and too bad wifi wasn't working that night for us to be entertained.
Washroom was cleaned and situated upstairs.

Presentation-wise and budget-wise, I have to say I'll only give it 3 stars for now, since I heard this from a friend who had an enjoyable dining experience...

Mine was well, so-so.....we got the chicken and beef salpicao, coleslaw, java rice with garlic and the chicken wings which was a recommendable item... But I was disappointed because we had 2 separately cooked batches of their chicken wings.... Why? First batch, the chicken wings were raw inside....and then the second batch of cooking which they replaced for the first dish, the chicken meat was still raw and the sauce flavor didn't penetrate enough for the chicken to be tasty....

We didn't finish the chicken wings even halfway....and fair enough they deducted it from our bill.... But how about the chances of salmonella infection? I hope it's just a branch thing because it really looks like a promising resto 128561128561128561

One Friday evening, when we thought we'll end up at Gastro Park but unfortunately the place is so jammed we decided to detour at Capitol Commons instead. I have always been curious about Peri Peri Chicken since it became a thing and it's my first taste of this new breed.

We're so hungry at 9:30pm since we haven't had our dinner yet. We got sited immediately but it took a while for them to get our orders. We had the Peri-Peri Chori Nachos and Brava Patatas for the appetizer. The nachos felt short. There were a mix of potato and nacho chips, some salsa and cheese. But I barely felt the presence of the chorizo which is what this is supposed to be basically made off. The toppings are not equally scattered around the nachos. You can ask for a dip which I'm not sure what is. Well, some are spicy and some are like those used in indian cuisine. Now, I like the patatas bravas because it's filled with fries, and cris cut potatoes with melted cheese and rich tomato with meat sauce. I enjoyed this one though the serving is pretty small compared to its price. I love the tomato meat sauce. We also had a pitcher of draft beer for just Php 200! Man, I like their draft beer. It isn't so bitter and could fill up to 10 glasses with lots of ice! Really great. 128522

Now for the mains, we had this group meal that has 1 whole peri-peri chicken, 1 slab of ribs, 4 java rice, 2 buttered carrots and corn and 2 coleslaw all for Php 1299! It's a good deal actually. It will make you full to death. Haha. I like the ranch and bbq sauce. The coleslaw has generous greens and a good mixture of mayo and milk. The peri peri chicken which is the highlight is good. It has a different spice from the usual chicken. It's grilled but soft and tender inside. The ribs are okay. It's not that juicy though and a little dry but it's soft so yeah, good enough.

The service is bad though, really slow. Well, they are undermanned but on a peak time, I guess they should have more people. This is a good place for an evening chill!

PS: Yey to multiple photos! Omg!!! Love this looloo!!

#Longoverduereview. Ate here during black Saturday and the place is really crowded, probably because people staying in the metro have no where to eat since most of the restos are not open. We're just passing by and saw that Starbucks is open and also the whole outside of Estancia is actually open.

I tried "Fernando" which is their premium boneless chicken which is spicy and sweet and really tender. Serving is quite filling for 1 and hint of basil and lemon is perfect to avoid that umay taste. My family ordered their chicken platter which is good for 4 but the chicken is not cooked well still with blood that is after waiting for 30 mins for it to be served, we waited for another 15 minutes for this one. Not cool.

Service for this visit is really slow and some customers are already complaining and going inside to the reception just to get a refill of their bottomless iced tea. They might not be expecting the heavy crowd since it is a holiday. We waited for good 20 minutes for our bill btw. I'm giving them 4 stars because of the quality of the food. I shall return...

This was my first time in their Capitol Commons branch. Their restaurant is bit huge than in SM Megamall, the interiors are also interesting as you can feast your eyes with different things. From the big barrels of their sauces to different brand of local and international liquors. They have a pretty colorful place.

Food, we had the following!

Rio Chicken (P655) –it’s their signature peri-peri chicken. One whole order comes with 4 sides. (Choose from corn and carrots, coleslaw, java rice, tortilla, fries, hummus and mashed potato). The chicken is good and cooked well.

Peri-Peri BBQ Back Ribs (P730) – fall of the bone tender baby back ribs, it was really fall of the bone kind of thing. The barbeque sauce is flavorful which makes it more delicious.

Their meats are served with different sauces, you can ask for all of it! They have the following Mesquite BBQ (smoky, sweet, tangy), Garlic Brew (garlicky, spicy), Hoisin Sesame (sweet, tangy with a hint of spice), Harissa Exotica (exotic blend of spices),Sweet Soy (sweet teriyaki sauce),Chili Peppa (fiery and hot),Honey Pinakurat (Filipino spiced vinegar), and Cajun Remoulade (spiced mayonnaise).  My favorite is Harissa Exotica and Chili Peppa! 128293

Ala Peri-Peri Pizza (P350) – rectangular sized pizza that has grilled peri-peri chicken strips, onions, tomatoes with perinnaise sauce (their signature mayonnaise like but with a twist). The pizza is crispy even after a while. It was served as thin crust with loads of toppings.

Shrimp Aglio Olio (P250) – pasta with garlic infused olive oil and topped with shrimp and parmesan cheese. This is simple yet addicting, the pasta is cooked perfectly and the shrimp is fresh!

Pasta Tartufo (P275) – pasta in a truffle infused cream sauce. Truffle is a strong-smelling underground fungus that resembles an irregular, rough-skinned potato, growing chiefly in broadleaved woodland on calcareous soils. It is considered a culinary delicacy and found, especially in France. (As per google). The pasta has chopped mushrooms and it really tastes good. The richness in the cream makes this pasta outstanding and I can’t really stop eating it. 128076128076

Beergarita (P200) – this is the first time I heard and tried beergarita. Basically it’s a fusion of beer plus margarita. In peri-peri they combined our local beer (san mig light) with a lime margarita, surprisingly it tasted good with a lil kick of alcohol. Haha it’s tolerable and perfect for the chicken!128077

This is a good and different way to try another chicken restaurant here in Capitol Commons! 128522
Try it and let me know!

There is nothing extraordinary with Peri Peri's chickens. It tastes just Ike any roasted or breaded chicken would. The only thing I find remotely interesting are the varied selection of sauces that dame with the chicken.

What's even worse than the chicken is the service. They have the most inattentive staff. Numerous attempts at getting their attention were all for naught. My wife eventually decided to go self service and get the plates and cutlery by herself.

To make things worse, their staff are also arrogant. After calling the waiter to pay my bills, one of the waiters curtly told me that he's just finishing something and gave me dagger looks.

I will not recommend this place to anyone - not even my enemies.

Have tried the place thrice and I have to say that the chicken is always tender and juicy. Their cajun sauce is my personal favorite. Service is great.

once again i ate the food before taking a snapshot!128553 it was so nice to my eyes and very enticing..
Chicken was tender, moist and flavorful128523
I have no negative critique actually. I liked their jalapeño crispy fries. It cost us P85 of spicy and enormous flavours of fries. I liked the fries better than the rice. Rice not at all tasteless but the fries was the winner to my taste buds!128079128512

The peri peri chicken wasn't as expected. We had a late lunch here earlier and we got astrud and palmas. I've been hearing about this resto for quite some time now so I was looking forward to eating here. The chicken and rice wasn't warm when it was served and the only thing I found interesting are their sauces, dips, and their coleslaw. Their service was okay too. It was surprising to have the restaurant all to ourselves, so we got the full attention of the staff.

I always thought this place was not sulit because it's just grilled chicken which I can always have my share from other cheaper scale restaurants but, when I finally tried it, I was really wrong!

The quality and the flavor of their chicken speaks for itself. What makes Peri Peri different from other charcoal-grilled restaurants was their different sauces. I always love sauce and no doubt I was delighted with my first try!

They offer a wide variety to choose from. May it be from just tangy to strong bbq flavor. I enjoyed trying to dip the chicken to all of their sauces! The meal that I ordered was very, very filling because the rice does the job! The rice itself was flavorful too!

I certainly recommend this place!

Surprised that I unlocked the chicken badge. 128513

I didn’t know that accidentally bumping into this restaurant will get me so addicted to their food! Speciffically the Numero Uno Fried Chicken. And when I say addicted, I actually tried all their branches excluding the one in Bacolod and the recently opened in SM Megamall. I’m talking about the Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken! I watched this restaurant featured on TV but I didn’t try it then. Until we went to Capitol Commons!

We ordered chicken of course because that's their specialty. My boyfriend ordered the Dos Palmas Peri Peri Chicken and I ordered the Numero Uno Fried Chicken. We we're served three kinds of sauce which I can't remember the name. The crew said it's one of their best sellers - from mild, medium to very spicy sauces. I also ordered their bottomless House Blend Ice Tea - I cannot count how many refills I drank but I think it's more than five glasses.

Our orders arrived after a few minutes of waiting. When I bite into my order, I almost wanted to cry - it was so good! Plus it complements the sauce, I tried it with the mild and medium sauces. Also the serving is so big, I am so full after eating the whole chicken fillet served with mashed potato and corn.

Price is very reasonable at 200-300 pesos per person plus it was so worth it, I swear! therePeri Peri Charcoal Chicken is also available in SM North Edsa Annex, Greenhills Promenade, SM Megamall and Robinsons Central City Walk Bacolod City.
