I decided to give Peri-Peri another try after the not-so-pleasant experience i had at the Gateway Branch. Yes, the service is horrible there. Let us not dwell with the past and let bygones be bygones.

We have tried almost all of the restaurants in UPTC except for Peri Peri. And since CMA is supporting my healthy eating crusade, we decided to have late lunch at here.

Grub

Astrud. The set comprises of java rice, crispy fried fish sticks, corn and carrots and 1/4 peri peri chicken. The fish sticks are bland and not crispy enough for my liking. Saving grace is the awesome sauce (I picked the spicy variant). The chicken is flavorful and cooked well. No, i didn't eat the rice....i am on a diet remember. I mean that.

Healthy Meal #1. Salad x 1/4 peri peri chicken and 2 pieces of quesadilla. The quesadilla is awesome! I know.... who would have thought that they can make a mean quesadilla.

Service is meh. It is difficult to catch the servers attention as they are too focused on chit chat instead of attending to customers needs.

Peri peri is better than i remember! Chicken is more juicy and flavourful, while the soup is mire creamy and thick. I love the perfect contrast of the salty chicken and sour spiced vinegar dip.

Super loved their sauces but the chicken was a bit small for a hungry person like me.

Peri-Peri refers to African birds eye chilis, which they used for their customized sauces. At Peri-Peri Charcoal chicken their dishes are spit-fired grill to perfection with the best African Portuguese spice mix brought in all the way from Africa.

The place was nice and big, loved their interiors. Ordered two sets of their main plates, Palmas is 1/4 Peri-Peri Chicken and two sides. Had rice as side dish then other one is the tortilla so you can have the option to put chicken inside tortilla if you don't want to eat rice. Price is 285 pesos.

Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken's pride is their signature sauces like: Meaquite BBQ, Garlic Brew, Hoisin Sesame, Harissa Exotica, Sweet Soy, Chili Peppa, Honey Pinakurat! You can pick three of this signature sauces for your dip.

Then we ordered an iced tea too. Service was fast and staffs are accommodating. I heard that actor / swimmer Enchong Dee is a party owner.

Tiktilaok, what are you waiting for try it and you'll never regret their yummy chicken plus they offer ribs too and other group meals which I want to try next time.

Location is at the new building of UP Town, near Kumori. 128020
