Sometimes a restaurant overall rating through different users can tell the entire story. Persia ranks one of the lowest in Zomato at 2.2.

Their food was extreme. Not the good side but the bad part of it. The Tabouli Salad was very sour. The amount of vinegar in the dressing was unbelievable. I still tried to gulp it down while my facial expression and my stomach (later on) suffer.

Morg-e Anar, a special Persian dish got a number of spices going but turned out to be very salty. It’s a good thing there was enough pita to make it edible. Also for almost Php 400 (with taxes and delivery), its so darn expensive. It’s only a leg quarter.

My favorite Hummus was hoping to be the saving grace but turned out to be sour as well and in such small quantity.

Am not sure if Persia exists to disappoint. They’re complaints are there but they seem to do nothing about it. So confusing.

Chelo Kebab Kubideh for the win! Totally worth the P299. Also enjoyed their melon yoghurt shake. This place well worth the visit. Service is also fast which is a big plus.

On the food: The kebab rice meals were good. They saved the night from the almost bland, and disturbingly smoky taste of their Baba Ganouj.

On the service: Waiters were courteous and accommodating. Service time took 20 mins, which for me is too long already.

Vegetarian dolmeh is one of the nicest vegetarian dishes I've tasted. (Partly because I'm a picky eater) The beef kebabs were also not bad. And great ambience! 128077

By far, the worst Persian restaurant I've been to. Ordered rubbery kobideh and tilapia fillets. As you can see, what I got was two sorry looking pieces of fish. Overpriced, undersized and the sauce wasn't even good. Waste of money and calories. I cannot give a worse review. Walk away.

I had the beef shawarma on rice. There weren't many strips of beef and they probably try to hide that by overcompensating it with rice. I was disappointed seeing this, but it's really delicious. So it somehow made up for the lack of beef.

Finally! A decent and authentic Persian restaurant near my office! Pictured above is the Chicken Tikka business meal for only Php139 (+8% service charge). Service was excellent despite only having 1 server.

I also recommend their Hummous! 128077
