So lately, I've been on an Abaca Group trance, scheduling at list a visit in another one of their restaurants during my day off. It's so ironic though hat I live in Mactan but I haven't been to their actual restaurant/resort there. Hahaha 128569 That day will come. For now, I really wanted to visit their restaurants one by one.

I went to Phat Pho for dinner. The place was just small, and had quite a number of guests but I was still able to be seated to a table next to their open kitchen immediately. Service staff was fast and attentive and without even blinking the waitress approached me already for my order. I asked her for their best sellers and she said the Special Pho and for the Goi-Cuon, their Slow Roasted Pork Roll and so I ordered both.

The food came out in less than 5 minutes. I must say I was impressed. The first thing that arrived were the rolls and shortly after, the Pho.

The Goi-Cuon was beautifully presented, wrapped tightly and the colors were veggies were great. The pieces were huge, and the sauces that came with them were delicious. When I was eating, I was thinking anything would go well with these sauces. 128571

The Special Pho was AMAZING! 128571 I'm no expert in Vietnamese Cuisine, but mygosh, their version of Pho was mind-numbingly delicious! The soup was served hot and every sip was packed with flavor. I didn't even need to put the condiments, but when I did it only enhanced the taste further. I absolutely loved it! At Php 225, it was really affordable, worth every peso! It was also a generous serving considering I just had the small bowl. It was very filling in the tummy. I finished every drop of the broth with great gusto!

I will definitely come back here to try more of their amazing dishes! 128571128571128571

Haven't been feeling well since Monday evening and I have been eating rice porridge and drinking pocari since then.

I read some blog reviews about the place, and decided I want to try their congee.

Had someone to buy for me a congee (which I don't know this name128517) and ate it at home.

I like the taste. Especially the sweet oil sauce that came with it. It's a hearty dish and definitely will visit their store when my stomach starts feeling better 128522

Nothing like a big bowl of pho under a heavy rain.

I'm not really a big fan of the plain pho in general to be honest because i find them bland, but that's just my palate. What really blows me away is their Bun Bo Hue. It's this spicy version of their Pho Bo but they use pork knuckle and braised beef and tendon that literally melts in your mouth. The amount of spice is just perfect that it gives you 'sipon' after gorging down the whole bowl. The satays are perfect to pair with their pho like the Angus Satay that's just drowned in fried garlic perfection. Almost everything else is delicious like their Com Chien which is this amazing vietnamese style fried rice that's full of fried crunchy garlic that i couldn't stop eating. Not to mention their perfect egg rolls and their rice paper rolls!

Their ingredients are so fresh and well prepared plus the atmosphere comes across this modern-vietnamese bistro.

No need to go through all that traffic for that Pho fix anymore. Bun bo hue, beef satay, pork goi cuon and fish cakes ftw
