Right before going home, Ony and I had dinner here. I've been telling him how much I want to go to Vietnam just for the food. By always saying this to him, I think in a way, he got curious what's with Vietnamese food so he suggested we eat here. I was so excited to eat here again because it's not always that I get the chance to eat Vietnamese food. #SupportiveBF 128525128518128513128154

Apparently, they have two branches here in Festival Mall - one inside near Super Bowl of China and Seattle's Best and the new one's in the River Bank area. Too bad we weren't aware that there was a new one, we could have went there instead. This branch's kinda old, dark, and "dirty". Oh well. 128563128563

When we entered the place, we were welcomed and led to our table. The place was surprisingly full for a thursday night unlike the other restaurants which are either empty or with just a few customers.

Ordered right away since we need to go home early. I got the following for the two of us:

CHA GIO (Vegetarian or Pork) - 230php
- Saying this again, fried spring rolls w lettuce are simply the best! Banh Mi and Pho may be more popular but the spring rolls are my ultimate favorite!! 128154 I was excited to let Ony try this one but according to him, this is just like our usual lumpiang shanghai wrapped with lettuce 128530 but no, I am not agreeing and not accepting that comment! 128518128530 This one's better and yummier! 128541

PHO 50 - PHO NAM, CHIN, GAN, BO VIEN - 315php (large)
- Pho with flank, brisket, tendon and meatballs. According to the server this was the best since all the toppings are added. As much as I enjoyed my last pho, this was just okay. The soup doesn't taste as "clean" as the one I had before. Plus the beef wasn't that tender. The soup tasted old, the beansprouts looked old, as well. 128557 Ony said that this was just okay. At least he was able to try Pho and it's not something he'll want to have again. 128546 Halfway done with his pho, he said that he's missing the saltiness and richness of the ramen. I know I said that I'd rather have this than ramen but the sadness of this bowl made me want to have ramen instead. 128531128529 Ramen never fails!!! 127836

As much as I love Vietnamese food the experience here wasn't as great and exciting. Service was meh. Servers were hard to call. We were already almost done eating when they gave us our water. 128530

Last Dec 5 Jacqui T and I had a date. Haha Whenever i get a chance to go home in our house at Alabang most of the time I meet my friends for catching up sessions.

So we ate here at Pho Hoa/ Jack's Loft/ My Thai resto. We ordered Goi Cuon and Pad Thai. Since we will get tea in SB after we decided not to order drinks instead we got tap water only.

We like the peanut sauce in Goi Cuon btw and for the Pad thai it's worth every penny since it really taste good and the meat was enough with the noodles not to many but not less. Infairness we just paid less than 500 pesos only. It's healthy and it make you full as well. Happy tummy and happy wallet indeed. 128516

Try them at Festival Mall on the third floor. 128077128522

Con M and I visited the famous and newly opened H&M boutique in Festival mall. Long queues at the fitting room and the cashier made me crave for something asap. We chose not to eat rice and decided to have our dinner here. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Fresh spring rolls.

Pad Thai from My Thai - Their serving did not disappoint us. We got a big serving and good for sharing pad thai noodle as compared to the one that we had before in Soi. Flavorful noodle topped with extravagant amount of diced tofu and chicken.

Goi Cuon from Pho Hoa - Fresh Spring roll with shrimp. I can actually inhale the whole plate alone. A guiltless pleasure for this season. We both loved the peanut sauce.

High quality, low price. Will definitely come back here. 128077128077128077

My wife loves this place. We have not yet tried all the dishes in their menu. But the ones we did we instantly liked.

Wife and I had a light lunch. We tried their Braised Tofu with Crabmeat and Vietnamese Fish. They were great! We did not like the I Declair!!! dessert from Jack's Loft though.

Veggies, noodles and chillies! This place gives me happy tummy most of the time though order takers are quite slow sometimes...

I am not much of a "healthy eater", but Pho Hoa's (Vietnamese Restaurant) Fresh Spring Rolls will always be one of my favorite dishes. :) There's something refreshing about this simple dish and I love the mix of flavors in my mouth. :) I'm not a fan of their peanut dipping sauce, so I always ask for their vinegar (mixed with something) dip that's really good! This is the one usually served with their fried dishes. :)

Seldom do we find restaurants that give good, guiltless, absolutely filling food with the right balance of good service and ambiance.

Pho Hoa serves a good, healthy concoction of pho and a host of healthy ingredients. In the photo is their Goi Cuon, a fresh vegetarian spring roll (my favorite here btw).

Seems Father's Day took some effort out of the Pho Hoa staff as they really did their best to give the best service despite the number of guests. The servers took some time to prepare the food (and the bill) which was quite uncommon for us regular customers.

Believe them when they say that the large bowl of pho is good for two to three persons. It's really worth sharing. And this means you can order other items from My Thai and Jack's Loft too!

There are days and there are pho days! Pho away pho away! These are usually rainy days that need your glasses to fog up.

I had this bowl of hot and sour soup after a swim workout when it started to rain. Just in time! Those pineapples are the best! Tangy enough to jolt your senses and the soup has just the right amount of heat (literally and figuratively).

What's nice about this branch is that it's similar to the one in Greenhills. You can order from a jack's loft menu and the mythai menu. So naturally, i ordered a thai iced tea! Milk goes well with spicy!

Pho, pho, pho!

This resto is really a must-try to all ya looloo out there! As what my husband and i always utter, 'wala pa talaga itong palya!'. 128523128076

Since i am a breastfeeding mom, i had to excempt myself from fasting and abstinence this holy week. So last wednesday, i ordered grilled prawns over rice and chops. Oh wow! The pork was tender, seasoned with a balance between sweetness and umami. The prawns were fresh and crunchy barbecued, kaso bitin - 3pcs per plate only. 128542

Then my husband ordered this bowl of noodles with some greens and a little of grilled pork and this rolled thingie. He told me that the 1st time he had it, he knew right then and there that i will own it. Hahaha! Niwei, yup he was correct. But sad to say breastfeeding moms, i am not advising you to order this yummy bowl alone because count 30mins and youll find yourself hungry again. Magaan sa tiyan. But definitely a thumbs up 128077128077128077128077128077 for dieting friends out there! A guiltless yum!
