Had a good dinner at Pho Hoa.. Seafood Noodle Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, Pork BBQ, Iced Tea..

I'm giving the pork bbq 128078 because of its unreasonable price. P150 for those 3 skewers. Each stick is actually just half the stick of what you can buy around the streets of Metro Manila.

I love noodles, whenever I crave for this, pho hoa is a place where i feel comfortable dining.

Had the beef stew (small bowl) the noodle soup was delicious and the beef slices was tender, the bits were in order, however, the broth had a bit of a greasy 128522 if you are a heavy eater, always order the large bowl and the price for me is reasonable.

Cha gio viet Fried Rice Paper Roll with Pork and Vermicelli this was awesome 128077

The service and staff was great and — very authentically Vietnam, you could say. Everything else looked good.

Pho Hoa is one of our bonding places, my mom and I. And since we're both craving for some hot soup, here it is! 128513

We shared a huge bowl of Beef Stew noodle soup and the Fresh Spring Roll with shrimp!

Such healthy meals for a filling appetite! We were quite enjoying our meal when.. A Filipina started some scene with her foreigner of a husband and started banging their chairs and said "anung ting tingin nyo?! Asawa ko toh!" Blah blah.. Pardon my lack of a better term - "pero nawalan ng class.."

It was quite embarrasing, really. Since it seems the couple had some disagreement among themselves and even involving other customers with their drama. Tsk. Really. Let us enjoy our own bowls, shall we? 128530

Going back to my meal, at least the hot soup made our mood a little lighter and warmer, so off we went with the enjoyment of Viet food (and a crazy woman scene on the side, kidding!) 128540128517

The food I ordered was neatly prepared, 1serving good for 2. Thing is it tasted like grass. Oh well each country has its own taste. Viet's not for me (so far).

Their Pomelo Salad is an all time best! I always ordered their Kung Pao Chicken which is my personal favorite here. Tried their sizzling grilled Porkchop (2pcs) on top of garlic rice. Happy Tummy! 128522

We tasted small portions of different dishes and everything we tried was yummy, including noodles, which they are famous for.. At first i was hesitant since I do not know how my tummy will welcome foreign food, fortunately, i made it VERY happy.... FYI, spring rolls and beef stew FTW!

4 solid stars. Not for the pho...sorry, not even close. There's only one place I go to get my pho fix. That's for another review tho.

Grilled pork and fried spring rolls over vermicelli and veggies is my ace in the hole in this Vietnamese joint. Served with a kind of broth that you pour into the bowl, mix well, and get ya grub on! It's got that perfect fresh combo of sweet n savory flavor, soft and crispy texture, and overall satisfaction without none of the heaviness or guilt. If pork ain't your steeze, also available in chicken or shrimp.

Good for lunch, merienda, or dinner. Sort of like a "lurienner"

I went to the mall again, mall rat mode. I decided to dine to something unfamiliar and I ended up eating here at this Vietnamese restaurant since the persian restaurant serves food only in big servings.

➡ PLACE
Place was OK. there were tables, which supposedly be used by customers, occupied by the staff. I think they were arranging their fresh veggies there. LOL

➡ FOOD
First, I had the fresh spring rolls in shrimp and chicken. The spring rolls itself and the dip were really good! Second, I had The fortifying combo noodles. The menu said that It has flank, brisket, tendon, and meatball Pho. I only liked the brisket, everything else was not that good especially the tendon! It was served with Basil, Lemon, and Bean Sprouts. The noodle itself was not good for me. It tasted a bit sour. Third is the iced tea! I love their iced tea! It tasted the same as what 5 star hotels serve, not the typical Nestea iced tea.

Spring Rolls 127775127775127775127775
Noodles 127775127775
Iced Tea 127775127775127775127775127775

➡ Service
None of the staff approached me when I entered the restaurant. I was the one who approached them first. When I asked for a glass of water, I was served, but the water looked like it came from the faucet. No ice and not cold.

➡ Price
Pricey! The noodles cost P250 for small bowl, good for 1. Total bill was P475.

Will probably go back just for the iced tea. 128514

Me and my mom's quality time are usually spent after work shopping and having dinner. We make it a point to try out every restaurant/fast food there is at the mall - one stood out from the rest and we kept on coming back and again.

Pho Hoa, is our go-to-place every time we feel like wanting something healthy and at the same time flavorful. The variety of food available is unbelievable you'd want to order everything from the menu.

Number one on my list is their famous noodle soups -Pho Bo Kho (Beef Stew) and Pho Do Vien (Seafood Noodle Soup)- this is certainly a well-balanced nutritious meal with each bowl accompanied by lemon wedges, bean sprouts, hot pepper and some fresh coriander leaves. Health conscious wise, this is one to try.

For the even health conscious people who does not want to have their tummies sticking out from their shirts, their heartwarming salad -Pomelo Shrimp Salad- gives you that sense of satisfaction given that light combination of pomelo, fresh veggies, shrimp and kani. I am not much of a salad person but every time my mom orders one, I try to take a bite at least and this one is the best I've had so far.

For rice persons such as myself, their Grilled Pork with Rice and a side of Cha Gio is very satisfying. It is composed of tender grilled oil-free pork combined with rice made of spices and herbs I can't even get a taste of what, actually. It's eating a simple dish and yet it says a "do-not-try-to-recreate-meal" all over it.

Cha Gio is similar to our Lumpiang Shanghai - a handaan staple. It is minced pork and veggies rolled in rice paper and deep fried. Although it may seem similar to our Lumpiang Shanghai, there is something more to it that I can't get a hold of. It is rich in flavor and its crispiness would make you want to munch on it all day - I know I would.

This Vietnamese restaurant chain is a must-try for everyone out there who deems they are depriving themselves by eating only those cereal bars full of artificial sweeteners (which by the way is not healthy at all).
