Valentine's lunch here while waiting for Deadpool show. As I am writing this review, I'm still sitting inside the restaurant because my boyfriend is still eating. Anyway, we got the Brisket and Tendon Pho (Large bowl for 305.00) and my BF ordered rice toppings, the Kung Pao chicken. He can't finish it though because it was TOO SPICY. He said he ordered it before and it wasn't this spicy. Seeing the chili on his food gives me goosebumps 128541

Service - I'm also a restaurant worker and I know how hard it is to manage a floor with just the two of you but it doesn't give you the right to be rude to your guests. One of the staff (who also served as their host) made me feel like it was crime to ask for service water and some lemons. And worst, she only gave me my lemons, no water. I stood up and went to their pantry, got my water and the other staff apologized and finished filling up my other glass. To think that there were only 6 tables occupied. Tsk tsk. 128529

Food - the noodles was good, this is the only thing I order here always because I am afraid I might order something too spicy for me so I stir away from the rice toppings and other flavored noodles.

Ordered their shrimp and pomelo salad. Superb! Everything was perfect, the vinaigrette went well with the zesty ingredients which included cucumbers, shrimps, pomelo, carrots, and a lead of lettuce.

For the 250 price tag I think we paid for the pomelo and the shrimp. I was overwhelmed by the amount of cucumbers in the salad. I wish they just added more lettuce instead. This serves 2.

Overall, I can make this one at home. It was good but it's not the dish that I'm willing to pay 250 pesos for over and over again.

Adios! 128111

We have a standard order here.. Its the hot & sour soup.Loving the noodles mixed with pineapple, shrimps, lettuce and other veggies. And we had pomelo shrimp salad! Its simple salad topped with peanuts and sweet dressing.

Tired from yesterday's activities, I need something hot to perk me up. I decided to go Vietnamese and ordered Brisket, Tendon and Meatball Pho. Even without the hot sauce, the steaming soup was enough to awaken me and made my blood flow normally.

I didn't have a good first food experience with pho hoa (not this branch) but looloo made me want to try it again and it was a success!

128079 for the beef noodles (I just didn't like the aftertaste of the dahon but the meat is really tender)
128079 for the chicken vermicelli bowl ( I loved how the grilled taste of the chicken blended with the sourness of the dressing, very flavorful)
128079 for the breaded tofu (i like the spicyness of the topping)
128079 for the iced tea (I love it brewed)
128079 for the service (I love the set up, the small bowl, the platito, the chopsticks which I didn't get to use, the readiness of the fork and spoon)
128077 for the price (mahal hehe)

It's been raining non-stop here in Manila. And what do you know? I was craving for a Vietnamese noodle soup.

I head to Pho Hoa. Since it's the only Vietnamese restaurant I have tried here in the Philippines and it reminds me of this Vietnamese restaurant in LA, California.

I had the seafood noodle soup. Such a generous serving for me even though I just ordered a small bowl. Prepare yourself to experience sweating and nose dripping for this spicy soup bowl.

Well, it's just cost less than 300 pesos. :)

If you know any Vietnamese restaurant/s other than pho hoa, please let me know. I'd be happy to visit and dine. :)

Until my next rainy day food cravings.

Your fellow food traveller,
Princess

I love vietnamese food bcoz of phohoa. Super yummy chicken noodle soup with lemon and mint leaves, the more mint leaves the better. Fresh rolls are really fresh. Rice toppings are ordinary but not bad. Chicken noodle soup and fresh rolls = solve. 128077128123

I love the beef stew, the noodles is just right and the fried spring rolls is great, I even order another one. They don't add service charge and with reasonable price 128077128077128077

Forgot the exact name of the dish but it's a lettuce wrap thing. We usually eat this kind of wrap in chinese restaurants but the minced meat is peking duck. I think this one's pork. Anyway, since it's a vietnamese restaurant, all food has this kinda weird smell. Kinda bothers me but it tastes great. I just feel that lettce is not enough. There's so much minced meat and they only serve a few leaves of lettuce:)

Paper covered tables... You know what that means... Doodle time!9999

It just so happens my sister brought some coloring materials, so I did what I usually do when there are pencils or pens 128513

Back to my review, I ordered their Chicken noodle soup.

I completely forgot this was a Vietnamese restaurant so the taste, smell, appearance looked different. 128517 but I guess it was good 128076
But the cilantro will never get pass by me on how weird the smell and taste is 128517

128205P.S. Watch out for the Cilantro! And try out their other meals, and tell me what taste delicious 128517 i never took the full possible potential of this place, i just ordered the chicken noodle soup 128557128557128557
