Went back with my sister yesterday and ordered our Pho Hoa staples - Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp & Pork and Tenderloin Beef with Rice. Both dishes did not disappoint. As usual, we requested for the sweet vinegar dipping sauce for the rolls. The vegetables were crisp and the rolls were filling. The beef was a bit bland when eaten without the garlic. They were tender though. The green chilis were extremely spicy.

I wanted a heavy lunch so I went for the Com Tom Thit Nuong aka Marinated Prawns with Grilled Pork on Rice. The prawns, more like shrimps, looked sad. It tasted ok though. Removing the skin was a breeze. The Grilled pork was good especially with the sweet vinegar dipping sauce. The Fried Rice needed a bit more seasoning. I was very full after this meal although flavors were average. I wish I had gotten a Vermicelli Bowl or my other Pho Hoa favorite - Com Bo Xao aka Tenderloin Beef with Rice instead. My cousin ordered the Beef which smelled so delicious. I was also able to try her Dau Dua Xao Tom, Tep aka String Beans with Ground Pork and Shrimps which were so flavorful.

*you can cross order from My Thai. They gave us the menu together with Pho Hoa's menu as we sat down

Sorry, But I really can't!128541

this is a late post/review, When I was still starting to explore my optionson what food I can and can't eat and where to find good and healthy food, PHO HOA, came to my mind first, then I remembered I can't eat noodles! Darn128513 BUT...I still went inside, sit down and with a heavy sigh ordered a salad, sorry but I really can't remember the name of this salad anymore BUT what I can remember it was GOOD and filling and fresh and light, ok I know that's too many praises in just 1 dish, BUT it is all that! The serving is good for two and the price is reasonable, the only downfall, the lettuce was not properly strained to dry out and so my salad has some water on it which was kinda off but it was just a little bit though!9786

It's lunch time, checked the list of Restaurants, fastfoods and food stalls at SM Fairview and we realized that we almost visited all! We only have 5 food establishments left in the list and we decided to start it now.

Pho Hoa - a Vietnamese Restaurant

10024Flank Brisket Tendon Meatballs Large - P295
Beef soup with white noodles, meatballs and beef flanks plus sprout, lemon slice and Vietnamese basil leaves on the side.
I am a soupy person (mahilig sa sabaw) that's why I enjoyed this soup, beef flavor is so evident, the color of the soup doesn't show but believe me it is. I just added the special sauce, hot sauce, some lemon juice, sprout and basil leaves. Excellent!

10024Fresh Spring Rolls - P129
Fresh Vietnamese noodles with vegetables served with peanut sauce; good to start a meal.
10024Grilled Pork Fried Rolls - P280
Grilled Pork Strips, 2 pcs. Fried Rolls with fried rice. This really taste good, everything on it especially the fried rolls dipped in vinegar sauce.
10024Kung Pao Chicken - P250
Fried chicken chops covered with special sauce and chilies. If you like something spicy, this is perfect for you. Serving is big, may staff said "maulam" ang meals nila (maraming ulam).
10024Banana Fritters with ice cream - P120 and P150 with chocolate syrup.
Fried sliced banana, perfect to end our meal.

Total Bill P1,224.00 for 4 people and we are really full! Sulit!

127775 Food
127775 Ambiance
127775 Value for Money
127775 Service - staffs are very accommodating to answer our queries kahit pa makukulit sila, they never get irritated.

I will surely go back here to try their other delectable dishes!
