I generally like Pho Hoa's food, from the salads, starters, vermicelli bowls, to their noodle soup and rice plates. But most of the time, service can be really bad. There's no enthusiasm, it's difficult to get their attention, and just slow for some reason.

First time to eat at Pho Hoa. Loser me.

Tried something different this time - Vietnamese food. So here we landed at Pho Hoa. Ordered Pho Bo Kho, Goi Cuon and Mat Ong Cang Ga for appetizers, and Buco Pandan Salad for dessert.

Pho Bo Kho - beef stew with super tender beef. We ordered the large size and asked to split it into two for me and my friend. The serving was really big and there were many beef chunks for each of us. This one was a bit spicy but very tolerable. It adds kick to the flavor. Super delish!

Goi Cuon - fresh spring rolls with peanut butter sauce. Spring rolls are always perfect as starters for Viet food. Plus there were shrimp and pork slices in the rolls.

Mat Ong Cang Ga - chicken drumsticks. Crispy. It's chicken so it's good. Sauce was remarkable.

Buco Pandan Salad - has corn bits in it that put that corn flavor so strong. But buco pandan has always been one of my favorite desserts. Really refreshing.

I can still taste the soup in my tongue. I'm really eager to go back instantly.

You can never go wrong with fresh spring roll and phò. 128541 Go to place whenever we crave for something warm and filling.

The down side, you have to call the attention of their servers for a couple of times before they notice you. Anyway, the food make up for the not so good service.

I have always loved Pho Hoa and their phos, specifically the beef brisket and the seafood. It's been one of my go-to places for random dine outs with friends when we can't think of any resto to eat at.

This is their Bun Ga Nuong of Grilled Chicken Vermicelli Bowl. It consists of vermicelli noodles, vegetables (bensprouts, carrots, cucumber shreds, and some other greens idk the names of), grilled chicken, and a few slices of their fried rolls, aaaaand garlic (i love garlic!!!). I chose this because I wanted something light. Surprisingly, it was very filling! There was this awesome blend of spices and tastes inside my mouth. 128523 priced at around 200-250 pesos, if i remember it right, was very sulit! 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

Before the main dishes, I always have to have these fried spring rolls with pork and veggies that you roll the lettuce with and dip into their sweet fish sauce. Also love their pomelo salad!

Pomelo salad 4/5. The salad was superb. The only downside was it only had 1 piece of lettuce, but we asked the waiter for additional ones.

Lettuce wrap 5/5. This has been the best tasting lettuce wrap I have ever eaten. (And the lettuce were big and crunchy).

Fish with garlic and yellow beans 3/5.

Beef with meatball noodles 4/5. Hot, healthy, comfort food with a mix of different tastes and flavors. The mushroom meatballs were yummy!

Green mango shake 3/5. Real mangoes used for this. I just drank it a tad bit too late when the blended ice has already melted and it started foaming up a little.

Service 5/5. :) The waiters are also in their halloween costumes already!

Healthy and filling!! :) - Nyah tan

Late review :) Food serving and service was great. The downside was their exhaust was broken and their air con was struggling. We were lucky enough to dine near their air-conditioner. Other wise you're either all fogged up or sweating. :/ i do hope they already fixed this, it messed up the dining experience.

Craving for a bowl of hot pho during this unpredictable yet welcoming cold weather? Pho Hoa would be one of the places you can go to for your craving if you are within the QC area. Living in Hanoi, Vietnam for more than a year, i've grown quite fond of Vietnamese dishes especially with the ever famous pho noodles. Pho Hoa was OK for me but I still prefer Pho Bac if you want a more closer taste to the real deal.

I did like the generous serving of beef flank when we ordered a large bowl of Pho Nam Chin and had it split into two with the wifey. They only have sriracha hot sauce for that added kick but I liked the chili paste better with the soup from the other Pho restaurants i've tried. We also ordered the fresh spring rolls and that was good as well as it was served with peanut sauce.

Overall, I would still go back here once in a while if i'm within the vicinity and it's still a good value for money if you're getting tired of eating rice dishes. Well, pho is made of rice too but i digress.

Ate here at around 10 in the evening! wanted to eat where I feel like I'm eating something light, and yes, this fulfilled my expectations!

The food was not too heavy and not too bland, it was light and very satisfying. Ordered their beef soup with the platter salad with spring roll and I would say that it was a hearty meal.

Price was okay as well at P500 in total, and the place was really spacious. (Setting aside their restroom which was really not good)

Do try next time! And order what I usually get, chicken noodle soup and fried spring roll!

And so I am back to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, but this time I'm not alone, I'm with someone special 9786128584128149 #blushing haha! So yeah, I'm with my special someone, his name is Bon (but I call him Bonito Banana, he likes it though haha!) Anyway, when we got there it wasn't that full which is good 'coz we will not wait that long for our orders. He got the 50B and I got the 35C with extra order of their LOVELY SPRING ROLLS (sorry I don't even know the name of their dishes coz it's in Vietnamese ata or what?? Haha! ) then he ordered red tea for himself and watermelon shake for me. All in all it was good, Bonito Banana even liked what he ordered for it was cold last night and he needed some hot soup. But what turned down my satisfaction was their watermelon, it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet. 128557128542128299128074128548 Literally!! Bonito even asked the waitress why it's so sweet, that it tasted like sugar already. They apologized naman, and I ended up getting bottled water nalang. I hope it'll never happen again...

What would be more perfect than a bowl of hot noodles from Pho Hoa on a cold, rainy night! Pair it with fried vietnamese spring rolls and you get a perfect meal! Burp!

What can I say, I'm a creature of habit! I had a Vermicelli Salad Bowl with Grilled Chicken and Spring Rolls 3 times in a single week!!

I promise to try something different for the next coming days. (I just might start exploring ramen houses awlready hmmm!)

The other dish is sizzling beef sirloin if I remember correctly. It tastes like salpicao. It was really tasty so I loved it! It wasn't oily at all, the meat was tender and juicy!

Food arrived within 5 minutes and staff were friendly 128077
