I tried Pho Hoa for dinner and tried Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio or simply grilled pork, spring rolls and rice. I enjoyed it and from that moment I will visit Vietnam next year. 128521

I've always been a fan of ramen, but for a change we decided to have pho when I was craving for soup. I loved it! I don't know why, but Vietnamese food has some healthy vibe to it hehe 128521

My second favorite dish in Pho hoa! This Beef Crispy Noodles is worth a try. Been eyeing to try it for months and now I have! Their beef is so tender and their crispy noodles is perfect.

This is my form of comfort food last week... I have always liked Pho Hoa, from the very beginning... Years back, it was one of the few restaurants that offer Cafe Sua Da or Iced Vietnamese coffee... Now, it's sort of Vietnamese fast food, but I still maintain a fondness for their food...

Last Wednesday night, we chose to dine here for our midweek date... We ordered the Shrimp and pomelo salad to start off the meal... We both liked the citrusy and fresh salad... It was very light and was pretty to look at... Pretty big serving size too...

We ordered our favorites! I had the grilled chicken and fried spring rolls with fried rice while my bf had the grilled beef version of the dish... We liked our respective orders, but we noticed that something tasted different with the spring rolls... Couldn't put my finger on it though... It didn't taste bad, just somewhat different...

When I tasted the iced coffee, it was kind of bland! so different from what I remembered...128549 awwwwwww....

I wish it was just an off day!!! please don't change Pho Hoa!128549

Service was okay...128522

Starter menu: Shrimp Mango
Healthy. But if you are looking for flavor this is not the place you should be at.

The past couple years, we've seen a tsunami [metaphor intended] of ramen restaurants open left and right showcasing chefs' take on a Japanese favorite. Though ramen, with it's bold and rich flavors maybe delicious, I prefer a large hearty bowl of pho (pronounced "fuh").

Now, I'm a bit finicky when it comes to pho, especially here in the Philippines. Growing up with plenty of Vietnamese friends whose mothers have cooked for me and I've consistently bugged to give me their recipe, I can honestly say that I know what real pho tastes. Luckily, Pho Hoa is here in Manila.

In San Jose, CA, Pho Hoa has been an establishment that has been there since I can remember. It has always been my go-to spot for a quick fix of this delicious soup for a very [very] cheap price. I was very surprised when I saw that the chains here in the Philippines were nicely set up, because back home, the original Pho Hoa is totally the opposite. It's more of a hole-in-wall for lack of better words.

Because Pho Hoa is now a global chain, I feel that the food, especially their pho has lost it's quality. It seems like it has been cutting corners when making the soup that has made them famous. I'm not disappointed. I still continue to go here. Heck, I still enjoy coming here. I guess it's all part of business, right?

There are about 20 Pho Hoa restaurants in Manila, but pho is still fairly new to local Filipinos. I only wish they were able to taste the flavors (ginger, star anise, cinnamon, lemongrass, coriander simmered for hours in a beef bone stock) that pho really has to offer that Pho Hoa (Ph) doesn't.

Happy earring!!!

Mom in law prefers familiar, comfort food. No matter how many times we eat here, she always gets the Chicken Noodle Soup.

I usually order the Tenderloin Beef or the Mince Chicken and Mushroom with Lettuce Wrap or the Marinated Prawns with Grilled Pork.

On a recent visit, the prawns looked so sad and small. The pork was super yummy as always especially when dipped in the sweet vinegar sauce. I really like the grilled smokey taste of the pork and it is seasoned just right. Love love love the fried rice!

The Fresh Spring Rolls were good as always but as usual i requested for the vinegar dipping sauce. Just not fond of the peanuty sauce that comes with it.

A new discovery and now a new favorite is the Vermicelli Bowl. Salad/noodle dish in one served with their sweet vinegar sauce. Hubby got the Grilled Pork, Veggie and Spring Rolls version. This was refreshingly good and we kept on asking to taste hubby's food. Another reason to go back to Pho Hoa!

Giving them only three stars just because this branch's staff (waiters) are very clumsy. I liked the same yummy Pho and rolls. Also the same cozy ambiance with other branches. Just didn't like that they kept on making a lot of noise because of improper handling of plates, bowls, and utensils. :( might as well visit other branches next time.

It's pho (fa)! That's the issue of the night!
I don't pretend to be a connoisseur of sorts, I just like eating out! I'm easy to please when it comes to food!128523 I'm just very very particular about service in a resto. Always!
Here is my absolute favorite dish in Pho-Hoa! Grilled chicken and fried spring rolls with rice (for the life of me, I cannot remember the Vietnamese name of the dish!)... I literally order it every time... I don't know any other dish here, I just like this one and pretty happy with it (very loyal customer btw)... 128525128525128525
So, whenever I feel the pull of Vietnam (naks!), Pho-Hoa is always in my list of options... Yay!!!♥️♥️♥️

Pho Hoa has always been my family's go-to place for 'light' food. But then we always end up feeling full after ordering so much haha!

Whenever I eat at Pho Hoa, I usually get the fresh spring rolls served with their thick peanut sauce (yum!) and a bowl of their beef flank noodle soup. These really are good comfort food, not too heavy and not too savory to the point of feeling umay hehe.
