Post Christmas and NY get together with my friends led us here to Phoenix court. We were supposed to go to tagaytay but it was red all the way as per Waze! So we decided to stay put in the south.
We all love buffet so it is was a no brainer 128513 called a couple of hours before to make reservations and double check the dress code, had to pass by the house again cos hubby and I were wearing shorts. No shorts, sando and slippers.
It was the second time for hubby and I and the first time for my friends. We just ordered and ordered and let the waiter give some suggestions too. Everything was great and of course my favorite was the mango sago which I had 2 servings of!
Net price is php739 not bad for the choices and ambience IMO 128077🏼

Phoenix court has had an eat-all-you-can dimsum buffet for a few years now and it was my first time to try it last Saturday 128522 one of our colleagues was migrating and we decided to have her despedida dinner here.
The price is 650++ which includes steamed, baked and fried specials. There are also cycle dishes, a couple of rice choices, soup and dessert. Very sulit IMO! Especially if you're a big group so you can taste more of the dishes! Steamed dimsum is served in 4's and the other fried ones are served in 6's I think.
Service was A+, our server even made a couple of suggestions that were actually spot on!
Had 2 bowls of mango sago for dessert cos it was so good! Parang may cream or yogurt so it's not parang shake Lang 128513
Will definitely go back!

Last week, my family and I celebrated my lola's birthday and CNY here. We wanted dimsum and chinese food so I suggested this place since it's near our place. (should have not suggested this place 128148)

Well the food were just okay. Not the best Chinese restaurant but not the worst(?) I don't think if its because it's chinese new year plus there's a lot of customers that the quality of their food were not so good and not chinese-y and the service was really poor. It's as if they didn't prepare for the ocassion and didn't consider the number of customers they'll be having. Tsk tsk tsk. 128078

Well, the hakaw was not "ohmygod i'm in shrimp heaven". I didn't liked it. The siomai was okay. The birthday noodles was dry, the sauce was not enough to coat the noodles. The veggies looked tired and sad, as well. The hot prawn salad was okay. The prawns were really big but dry, fruits (mango, apple, pineapple) were sweet but the lettuce were dirty :( in a hurry to serve the food they forgot to clean the veggies? But it took them almost an hour to serve our food!!!!!!!!! And the yang chow was... looking at the other tables, they have bigger plates/serving size, ours was small. Why? The sweet and sour pork was all flour and big chunks of pineapple. The pork looked/tasted old. The sauce was too sweet. I was just super disappointed with the whole "experience". The buchi was meh. It wasn't served hot :(

The only nice thing was they gave us complimentary cake because it's my lola's birthday. Ugh.

Well, serving size were all generous (including yang chow!) and for a resto in a hotel, prices were affordable! :)

This is my family's go to place for eat all you can Dimsum in the south. They have 2 options to choose from: P650/head eat all you can eat dimsum or P850/head eat all you can selected ala carte items and selected dimsum.

If you know you will make the eat all you can worth it, then I'd highly recommend to go for it. If not, you can always order dimsum from the ala carte menu. (You save more with this option and order only what u know you can finish).

Their hakaw is really yummy, salmon taro puff and seafood roll.

In contrast to everyone heading over to Chinatown for the festivities, my family and I opted to head south for some "quiet" Chinese New Year celebration. 127882127883

We had our reservation at Phoenix Court, Bellevue Hotel. It was a good decision to call in advance as most of the Chinese restos were packed regardless of area. The place had some dragon and lion dances as well that we had some photo ops with. 128079 (Parang di galing Chinatown, haha!)

Regardless, my family and I enjoyed a table for 8 and ordered the not-so-usual Chinese dishes: Fish Fillet with Shrimp Noodle, Steamed Prawn Balls, Traditional Hot and Sour Soup, Quick Fried Tenderloin with Black Pepper Sauce, Deep Fried Lapu Lapu in Garlic Oyster Sauce and Homemade Bean curd with Crab Meat and Fish Roe (which tasted very much like chiffon cake from Goldilocks haha! 128518)

I particularly liked the black pepper tenderloin and the hot & sour soup. 128521

Overall the food was okay, though I'd still prefer those from Chinatown! #LoveYourOwn, haha! 128517 The staff and service was great too despite the volume of orders and customers. Trivia: they had the largest Lazy Susan in the Philippines! Imagine the food going round in circles, burp! 128513128055

Anyway, never too late.. Kiong Hee everyone! And a prosperous Year of the Wooden Horse! 127887128052 恭喜發財!

Woohoo! Earned my Chinese Chow fan badge in this review! 128074

An extraordinary Chinese Restaurant that can easily compete as one of the best ones in the Metro. 128523

Service is excellent. The Chinese manager is very hands on that he even cut the duck and placed it in bite sized wraps for us. Really delicious and fresh IMO. Besides the full duck, we also ordered spicy shrimp, a beef dish, birthday noodles, fried rice, and a fish dish. All of which were exquisitely seasoned and cooked. 128557

Not to mention this restaurant is inside a modern and well designed hotel. A highly recommended dining experience that you will enjoy from beginning to end. 128513

Been going to this place since it opened it 2010. The best Chinese restaurant in the south. Their dimsum and ala carte buffet is priced reasonably considering the food you get and that it is a hotel. Quality and service very consistent.
