Bar by the beach serves terrible food. We ended up waiting an hour before our lunch was served, and the meat was still raw. Everything else was a splendid experience!

Fresh from hiatus - why, hello there!

Been hearing about Pico de Loro since I was years-younger, and just a few days ago I was blessed with 2 days of Pico-paradiso. God is good!

THE BEACH (HIGHLIGHT #1)
⚪ Fine, light brown sand. Ahhhh..... 128524128524128524128524 This beach is the greeny type, and is crystal clear in the morning. It gets totally dark before sunset. Heheee no thanksss . Not swimming if I cant see my feet :3
⚪ lotso cabanas available and is always kept tidy :)
⚪ lifeguard is visible (and active) pshhh we got warned for playing setting up an obstacle relay
⚪ lotsObig waves!!!!!!

THE POOL (HIGHLIGHT #2)
⚪ I love how it looks like an infinity pool with wings. Yep! Aside from the main pool, there are symmetrical areas (left and right) for 4ft swimming and an array of fountains for appeal and prolly a nice hydro massage(?)
⚪ there are shallow areas for sunbathing and chikka
⚪ the life guards are really strict about swimwear! And are very active as well.
⚪ crystal clear blue without chlorine-turn off :)

THE HOTEL (PICO SANDS)
⚪ Room for 4 - twin beds are spacious and comfy. I love how soft the pillows are!
⚪ The balcony served its purpose for warming you up after swimming (bahaha) and the mountain view was very pleasing, I must say
⚪ Our room comes with complimentary breakfast - al fresco dining oh yeah!!!

THE FOOD (BREAKFAST BUFFET)
⚪ Not much to choose from, but let me share what's on my plate :
- bacon, bacon, bacon!!! Not crispy though but still gooooood
- sunny side up eggs (you may request how it's done, from hard boiled to omelette)
- pancakes (hershey's chocolate / strawberry syrup available, maple syrup, sprinkles and marshmallows for kids). Best match for bacon, imo
- bread / ensaymada / other pastries you can toast plus - 4 types of usual spreads like peanut butter, tuna, cheese pemiento, i forgot the other one. There's lurpak, of course! And orange marmalade.
- !!!! country potato wedges (SOOOOO GOOOOD IDK WHAT SPELL THEY CAST TO MAKE IT GOOOOOOD)
⚪ pineapple, orange, calamansi juice were refreshing (yes I had to taste em) BUT all concentrate T.T
⚪ coffee - NOT FREE FLOWING. you have to keep requesting a cup :(
⚪ hot chocolate - nope! But they have milo... that was tastlesssss128549128548128548128548128548 yep, the waitress was honest about it!
⚪ other vairiants : I think I saw sausage, dried fish, tapa and garlic rice. Cereals, of course. And fruits!

Not that pleased with breakfast, but bacon always saves the day!!

I'll still give a 5 for overall experience. This is my kind of euphoric bliss.

And oh, this review came just in time.

Few hours drive away from Manila is a vacation spot perfect for your short vaccay. We rented a condo unit, 6 of us for just 4 thousand pesos. The unit is studio type and has a balcony. An entrance fee of 1thousand pesos per person is required. It is consumable with also a day of access at the exclusive for members side of the resort. If you are not in the mood for chilling at the pool, there are videoke rooms and billiards also available. Sport activities like basketball and tennis are also available for use with fees.

Place maybe crowdy especially on weekends. If you are after your peace and quiet, this is not the place for you.

So after months of staying away from Looloo for I'm tryin to focus on my career as I take on a Culinary Degree.. I'm back!! 1285139996️ Only coz I'm bored while studying for my Finals Exam. So clearly-- this is giving in to distraction.. which is a bad idea BTW. 128529

So before my long pause with Looloo--Before Culinary School--my last Whooha was here at Pico De Loro in Batangas. My sister asked me if I want to go and tag along with her Officemates' summer getaway. And since I know that it will be months after I get some beach action or any water action--since I'll be busy with Culinary School--I said yes.

Ambiance was soso--I can't help but compare it with Balai Isabel. I prefer going back to Balai Isable. Anyway., View was amazing. But darn, too crowded. I can't enjoy the pool. And I can't enjoy the beach for there was like a jellyfish attack or something disturbing that makes you wanna--not try the Beach. Then I find the exterior old. Rusting level. Anyway, since I'm a free loader who am I to judge and complain. LOL. Will I go back? Well if it's for free again! Why not!? LOL. 128514

Hamilo Coast is a pricey place but you really get to see and experience the reasons why this place is a tad expensive than most resorts in batangas.
It is most of all breathtakingly beautiful and it does feel like you're so far away from the bustling cities around the area.
I did went on an off peak season and you will really appreciate the place on the said period than when you had to share so much space on the pool or on the beach during peak seasons.
The beach was great. The thing about private resorts and that part of the beach along this area is that you can be sure that it is well maintained by the management. While a clean shoreline is very common in Batangas, this one has spotless clean.
Their restaurant has various offerings yet I would say their food is okay.
What I enjoyed here besides the view and the beach would be their clubhouse which we got to explore and experience. Some activities come in a price depending on your membership but that won't really ruin the fun.

It is quite obvious this place gets a 5/5 from me 128516

We stayed here for 3 days and I'd say that it was one of the best summer I ever had! (Srsly) The place is soooo relaxing! Full of green and the best view for sunrise and sunset. It's also a nice getaway if you want to have a break from the busy streets of the city.

The seawater is sooo clean, NO rocks PLUS you can swim with the fishes too. Their pool is quite small but then the sun deck chairs gave so much justice to the pool.

They also offer a lot of activities, may it be indoor or outdoor. I also advice you to have a morning jog for you to enjoy the view even more.

Food are good, though it's expensive but what do you expect in an exclusive resort right? There are a lot of restaurants you can choose from depending on the type of cuisine that you prefer.

Overall, I can say that I really enjoyed and love this place. All the penny that you'll spent are so worth it. Would definitely love to be back! 128076🏻128077🏻10084

Reposting. Spent summer here with relatives and friends.
Less than 2 hours away from our place, it's home away from home.
After swimming at the pool, we had buffet lunch at Lagoa and the kids played minecraft at the playroom while the adults went karaoke session.
One thing we love about Pico is they have their own chapel so we don't have to worry where to hear mass on a Sunday morning.
After mass, we played badminton and basketball and the kids went swimming again the whole afternoon before leaving for Tagaytay

This resort was decent, I would have enjoyed my stay here if only it wasn't over crowded.

Tried to get some pool time but I could barely swim because there were so many people in the pool. I think the resort management should at least have some bit of crowd control to make sure people enjoy their stay.

We opted to go to the beach instead the next day. It was clean and maintained.

The resort had its own badminton court, basketball court and bowling alley so you don't have to go out if you're craving for some sports time.

Overall, I would want to go back here on a non-peak season.

Great for a quick family getaway as it's just about an hour or so drive from Las Pinas. We brought our food to the condo but food at the club was also okay. Kids had fun in the pool and at the beach.

We had a very good 2 days stay in general considering it was a holiday and with two weddings. Stayed in our tita's condo and brought our own food but we did try the food from the beach club. Service was kinda slow since we pre-ordered already for 11am serving but food came almost 12nn. Big kudos to the staff who are all very corteous and genuinely nice. I hope they keep it up. I don't mind the long drive (2 hour) because we really loved our stay there! Will just remember to stock up more food and water128516

Pico de Loro was a very relaxing place. Their infinity pool was awesome it big and clean. The beach was also nice, but the beach is closed so early just 6pm it was closed. The infinity was was also closed early, its closed 8pm. So at night its boring cause I think that theres nothing to do. Their internet connection was poor, I cant even connect to clash of clans.

Nice place to de-stress from work and be with family. Rates would be better if you're a member. Contemplating on being one. 128522

Not sure why, but after swimming in the beach, I got rashes. I don't know what it was from, but it hurt a lot. I also got a wound on my knee from swimming in the beach. Don't know if I was just careless or it's just the beach itself.

I went here March 27-29 with my friends. We were a group of 9 and the other one was a member, and luckily, they had a package discount for 8 people that was only Php 500 for each guest. If we were less/more than 8, it would have been Php 1,200... so imagine our relief! Haha!

Facilities were good, although if you expect free beach towels, this is not the place for you. Every time you borrow a beach towel, it's gonna cost you Php 50. My friend said it used to be free, but I guess they know their demand and supply curve.

We also went kayaking for 300/hour since my friend was a member. I don't remember how much it would cost if you were just a guest.

If you plan to go bowling, I suggest you also bring your own socks. They're Php 100 a pair, so just to save money, I'd rather you bring your own. Shoes are a rental too and it's Php 160/head to bowl, if you're a guest.

Overall, the facilities and staff were okay, but their food service is terrible. You'd literally wait over 30 mins, and they even forgot my order. Lol! They didn't even compensate for it.

So yeah, that's it. I also suggest you guys prepare lots of money for this trip. Especially if you're a teenager like myself :)

A bit far but lots of things to do. You must visit st. therese chapel, it was very serene and have a nice view of the beach. I only tried the mac & cheese on the pico sands resto and it was delicious, very creamy. Amenities are okay too.
