Kids had to attend a birthday party at Santuario de San Antonio and decided to try out this place and wait here. Ordered their suman malagkit, no latik required anymore and a bottle of Nathaniel's Buko Pandan Juice.
Primbrera or Fiambrera in Spanish is a 2-3 tiered lunch box made up of stackable trays, often used to carry home cooked meals to anywhere.
They sell traditional Filipino and Spanish meals for take out. Their best sellers include bangus belly with laing, beef ng tapa kalitiran, callos ala madrilena and kare kare.
Thel also sell Cochinillo Barasoain for P4,400 but you need to order 2 days in advance.

3 of my faves

Beef kalitiran... most tender , melt in ur mouth juicy tasty...is rich in connective tissue and has generous fat marbling. It can be used to replace offal like ox tongue in dishes, very much like lengua & perfect for guests who don’t like offal.

Bicol express... tho a little oily... these are tender pork cuts...very rich dish, beautiful & colorful. It had just the right heat for my as usually extremely spicy preference, so I tremendously enjoyed this dish.

Binagoongan ...The smell of bagooong is strong and distinct that you cannot mistake it for anything else. But as distinct as it smells, its taste is in a class by itself. Something about it’s saltiness and fishiness cooked with other spices or combined with other dishes makes it so uniquely... the melt in ur pork liempo cuts with the quality tasty saucy & wet bagoong sauce is delectable a burst of Flavors best paired with plain rice ... So delicious

Adobong pusit was fresh , flavorful & tasty much with rice... But I'm trying to eat less carbs ....So wrong choice of dish for dinner .

Laing na bangus... big slices of boneless bangus in creamy milky Laing that's not spicy enough for me.....and yet very salty without rice .... epic fail 9786

Filipino take out at it's best127860127881. But prices are a little steep 128176128176128176but u get it back from quality. Portions are mostly good for 2 to share.Love the beef dishes ( kalitiran & bistek ). Binagoogan baboy is my fave and Bicol express. For snacks the arroz caldo is a must try. I'm not a sweet tooth but try their ice cream sandwich127847127846 , perfect as a meal ender for this summer 127940 light chewy and not too sweet 9786128536

If there ever was a hole in the wall, this is it! There are actually only three tables in the place so it's actually meant more for take-out than eating in. But the servings are quite meager for take-home food, so it's usually better to eat it right there and then. For home cooked Filipino food, that you can take home, Pimbrera makes it!

Kept coming back for lumpiang hubad with freshly made sauce. It would be good if prices were a bit friendlier. Lumpiang Hubad at P190
