Team Kaladkarin was invited for the 5th Year Anniversary of Don Papa Rum through Midz Sy. The event was held at Pineapple Lab, Poblacion, Makati. The nearest landmark is Ateneo Rockwell and/or Powerplant Mall.

Pineapple Lab is an art gallery. It can also be used as function for private events. The place is like a 2-storey house surrounded by Brgy. Poblacion houses.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the team from Don Papa Rum who organized the event and assisted us to the registration area. After our signing at the registration we were assigned to the main area of the event. The waiter offer us a welcome drink and Pica-pica before and after the show.

"This pica-pica taste really good especially adding some "Pinakurat Vinegar" on it."

🦐Paksiw na Bangus - 11088110881108811088️ 4/6
"This amazed me 'coz it's not what you think as Paksiw na Bangus. This one is dry but too tasty. It has an essence of Paksiw na Bangus."

🦐Cebu Lechon - 110881108811088️ 3/5
"The cebu lechon tasted good but the pork skin needs to be more crisp"

127864Filipina Maldita - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5
(Don Papa Rum, Coconut Water, Pineapple Juice, Ginger Beer, Honey)

127864The Bleeding Heart - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5
(Don Papa Rum, Monin Peach Syrup, Calamansi Juice, Basil)

"Both cocktails were infused with Don Papa Rum and I like it. But if I will to choose one... I'll go for The Bleeding Heart."

Overall, we enjoy the event especially the cocktails prepared by their mixologist.

*The event was sponsored and paid by Don Papa Rum.

As soon as I walk into the door I hear someone screaming "OMG HE PUT HOT SAUCE IN MY EYES!!".

It is a performance art gone rouge. Everyone was a willing participant. Kind of like that performance piece where the woman places different objects on a table and tells people they can do whatever they want to her with those objects.

It gets messy.

I immediately know I'm in for a treat.

The main gallery has photos. Different images by different up and coming 30ish photographers.

There's a dj on the second floor where a taxidermied tortoise is at (along with some other weird props).

Light shows and dancing in another room. You can watch all you want but unless the ushers say you can participate, then just keep watching.

An open bar. (as long as you come on time and depending how thirsty the crowd is)

Beautiful crossdressers in fishnet stockings covered in ketchup. Beautiful not crossdressers in fishnet stockings covered in rhum.

Beautiful bald women sitting beside flowers.

I think I paid 150 to get in.

I forget how I got out but I kind of remember going to another bar in QC afterwards.

This place is for the adventurous and artsy.
