Don't let the facade turn you off, Pizza World defies the other more upscale (expensive) pizza joints with their quality of pizzas. I initially had super low expectations coming in but they were really able to prove me wrong.

We ordered the Chicken Pesto pasta (P169) and Greek pizza (P259) and was surprised with the amount and quality of food that we got. Pasta could use more garlic and basil, but I can't really complain for the price.

Their strength really lies with their pizzas. The Greek pizza we ordered had a ton of cheese (real feta at that) and actual spinach in it not just bits.

Looking forward to going back to try their other offerings!

We were in the mood for pizza this Wednesday so we decided to walk a bit along Kamagong to search for this pizza place I read about a while back. 127829127829

The place looks pretty plain on the outside. On the inside, there's brick walls and funny pizza sayings on them.

The menu offers pizza in various flavors ranging from classics such as pepperoni and hawaiian to ones with pesto or spinach or six cheeses. They come in 8, 10 and 12 inch pies with prices from 200+ for the 8-inch pizzas and 500-529 pesos for the 12-inch ones. Aside from their pizzas, they also offer wings, french fries, pasta and rice meals (chicken fillet and beef pan kebab).

We decided on one of their promos which was composed of one 8-inch pizza, one pasta and 2 small soft drinks for only 300+ pesos. We got their pepperoni and their ham carbonara pasta.

Orders arrived after a couple of minutes. Pasta was plentiful with a hefty serving of ham and mushrooms. Pizza was served nice and toasty and it was kind of thick. Flavorwise, pretty good. You can help yourself to the condiments served to one side. Plates, cups and utensils are all disposable.

I would have to say that this place is great for a quick, cheap pizza fix if you're in the area. 128076
