I have been going to Plana Forma on and off since 2011 and I absolutely love it!! The work out is so addicting and very effective! I once went for 3 months straight and managed to drop 30 pounds!

The trainers are so positive about the way you treat your body and they are very friendly and encouraging. The receptionist and all the other staff there are also very friendly and polite. I love how they actually remember the names of their clients even if you've been gone for a long time!

The locker room and showers are very clean and complete! When I say complete, I mean that they provide you with body wash and shampoo as well as mouth wash, facial wash, lotions, hair spray and a hair dryer! It's hard no to fall in love with a studio that makes things much easier for you. I usually take a morning class, shower there and go straight to the office.

Their packages might be pricey but it's worth it if you're serious about changing your lifestyle and getting fit! They also offer Zumba and Yoga classes in the studio as well. I've gotten the chance to try those classes too and they're a lot of fun! Especially the Zumba class!!

They have an ongoing promo now, it's kind of a toy drive for Children so if you bring in 2 toys, you get a free class of your choice! I suggest you take advantage of this and donate! You'll probably get addicted and feel the need to buy a couple of classes!

If you want to feel the good kind of body pain and sweat, Plana Forma is the fun way to do it! Their Zumba classes are great! Got my sister to join in a class despite being a non-dancer. She loved it!!!

Started the long weekend with a free trial class at Plana Forma at 7:15 am. Yes, my friends have called me a masochist at one point or another because I also like to swim in freezing cold waters at 6 am. I signed up for the beginner's class and there were only 3 of us students in the class. Maybe we were the only ones crazy enough to wake up this early during the Christmas season.

I forgot to bring a padlock for the locker, so I placed my stuff in the cubby hole inside the studio. Noticed that there was no water cooler, so you'll either have to bring your own water or buy one at the counter.

Class started on time. Actually, the instructor started giving instructions to prep me a few minutes before class started. I saw a few familiar stuff, like the barre, straps, balls, mats, and weights.

Music was upbeat. I could feel my heart pumping faster just listening to the music. Now, wouldn't it be great if that was enough of a workout? The instructor was keen on proper form and spotted us constantly. Well, there were only 3 of us; there really was nowhere to hide. While there are a number of stretches and exercises similar to Barre3, Plana Forma is more fast-paced and intense. There is also a shorter recovery period per set and the instructor prompts the water break. Barre3 instructors are more zen-like, softly coaxing you to challenge yourself; while, the Plana Forma instructor I had this morning acted more like a boot camp director pushing you to give your best during the sprints and promising it'll end soon. There is a reason why it's just a 55-minute workout. Any longer and I may have crawled my way out the studio.

Peanut D, we did very few yoga poses in the beginner's class, save for a lot of child's pose (my favorite!). But I think they offer yoga classes.

My body felt great after the workout though. I think I'll try a few more sessions. Wish me luck!

Took a Forma Stretch class today before my beginners class.

Forma Stretch is a 30minutes session that'll help you incorporate proper breathing while you take your stretches. More like yoga stretches, I think though I haven't had Yoga in my life.

The stretches felt really good. Got me all warmed up for my 55mins. Beginners Class.

Working out is hard! Golly! But sweating definitely feels good mentally and physically 9786

For my third week, I decided to attend classes at this branch. I was surprised because there were a lot of students here compared to the other branch. Though the 'classrooms' are bigger at Centris, the waiting area here is bigger and the shower rooms are more spacious.

While waiting for the previous class to end, I discovered there was a Zumba class at the other room. When it was finished, people came out all sweaty. I got a little envious because at a plana forma class you don't sweat as much. Then I thought of taking both classes at the same time but maybe after a month because I might not handle it that time.

While waiting for the class to start, Nikki Valdez entered, still a bit wet coming from the Zumba class from the other room! 128586 That's when I decided I should take both classes NOW. She inspired me! If she could do it, maybe I could do it! Hahaha.

I purchased a Zumba package (10 classes for P3100) and started to attend the class the very next day. IT WAS AWESOME!!! 1 hour of non stop dancing! 128131 I expected it to be like aerobics meaning simple dance steps! But noooo! I've been dancing since I was in high school and this was not simple! It wasn't super hard either that non-dancers can't keep up. It's challenging but doable! 128077 If you want something that will really give you a sweat but is still very fun, THIS IS IT!!!

I really love plana forma but the only downside are the prices. It's a bit steep for me. For now, it's not within my budget. In the future, when my wallet can handle this, I'll definitely go back. 12817010084128513

Photo: From time to time, they organize Zumba parties. It's free to anyone enrolled in a Zumba package and there are a lot of freebies after! This photo is the 70's Zumba Party I attented. 128584

It's never easy to do something that you are not good at. For me, that translates to physical activities. So I took the challenge to workout. I chose Plana Forma since I wanted to be in a class and the traditional gym setup was not so appealing to me.

On my second week now...gah it's not easy! It gets harder and harder each session. But as long as you are focused and determined, anything can be conquered.

Great community they've got in Plana Forma - instructors are friendly and accommodating. They're determined to help you reach your goal - always motivating students to push more! Each session is a joy. You'll get to enjoy the music, the exercise and the sweat!

Cheers to good health!

I have decided to take fitness seriously. My occasional jogging that usually turns to walking does not help me burn all the huge chunk of calories I regularly take so I have to do something else. Being a housewife means I have a lot of time on hand.

I decided to give Plana Forma a try. They have free trial classes for the whole of Nov and Dec. I took advantage of this 128541

Gosh! Beginners class - intense work out. Seems easy but HELL NO!!! Felt my arms, tummy and thighs burn to death! LOL There were several intervals that I needed to stop. My muscles were shaking! Whiw!

I think I enjoyed the session. I didn't even notice that our 55mins was up. I was sweating a lot towards the middle until the end of the session. It felt good but my body was sore and my legs kind of jiggled as I walk towards the elevator and down the steps towards the car.

Yay! Anyhow, people there were friendly. The instructor was helpful and made sure that I was getting the right form each time. Restroom for girls was under construction which was kind of hassle since there was only one shower room available and I needed to wait for my turn.

Overall, I liked it. A little pricey - 650php per session but then I enrolled for the New Comer's Unlimited for a month for only 3k 128076

My golly! There's no giving up here! 128111128111128111

I wouldn't be working out here for 2 years now if i didn't love this place. I started back in July 2011(Fort studio) and i have been going (on and off though) here to workout ever since.

The staff are so nice, friendly and accommodating. They entertain every query. Specially when you are new to the studio, they really take care of you well. Studio is very clean and well maintained. Changing rooms are pristine. Bath and face towels also available.

Teachers are very well trained and professionals in their field (dancing, ballet, gymnastics). They assist and correct you so you get the full benefit of each workout. They also know you by name which I think is a hard thing to do if you are doing 3-4 classes a day with maybe 15 or more students. 128522

For my first year i have lost 15 lbs and now down to just maintaining the weight and toning my body. I really am thankful to have know this kind of workout. 128591128149

I think everyone should try this workout since it is different from the normal gym workout. Now is the time to try! They have free trial class for the month of July and students get 50% off on monthly package!

Package inclusions:
Forma classes - all levels
Arms and abs class
Forma stretch

Other classes are:
Zumba
Adult Ballet (never too late!)
Beginners and intermediate dance class

Even tho we're getting through a rough patch lately, I still manage to support him. 128513 Despite of what happened to us and how painful it is.

Yesterday and today's his pre-employment exam to be a regular employee/instructor.

He asked me to join his class and evaluate him without any bias evaluation.

Anyway, as the class starts I got irritated with the girls that surrounds me. They keep on whispering how hot and handsome the instructor is. I was like "did you really came here to make chismisan or to relax?" Hahaha! I'm not bitter okay.

I didn't finish the class because I cannot concentrate because of whisperings everywhere. Grrr! Yoga is to relax please.

After his class I talked to him and told him everything I observed while doing his class. I sarcastically told him “papasa ka talaga niyan. lahat ng nasa class mo pinagpapantasyahan ka eh”

Anywayyy! About the studio, I like their interior. So relaxing. If you're stress from life and all, you can go here and unwind.

The staff are friendly and accomodating too.

Price is depending on what kind of plan do you want.
