Players Pub and Bistro (formerly San Mig Pub) is perfect for chill sports fans who prefer watching games with fellow enthusiasts. The place has tv screens on each corner so no worries on tilting heads for better view, plus their surround sound adds more intensity.
We opted to watch the recent FIBA game of Gilas here and it certainly felt like watching live, with bonus comfy couches, food and booze
#JLTip: though not in picture, we got a pitcher of draft beer and nachos. Def cheaper than ordering per glass

had pre mother's day celebration at players yesterday which used to be san mig pub.
Buffalo Wings:
-a little bit spicy for my mom tho.
Pork Belly:
- nothing special, very ordinary, seasoned well tho
Grilled Sausage Platter:
- my dad really liked this dish, or maybe he just like sausages that much so prolly thats why this is heavenly for him haha.
Ambiance:
- really cozy atmosphere with nice seats and tables, however this is a smoking room so better think twice if ur planning to take ur kids here
Value for Money:
- reasonably priced dishes and large servings.
- they also offer daily promos, i think you can have as much as 20%.
you should also try their steaks and gambas.
overall a good experience for me, will be coming back definitely!

This place used to be San Mig Pub, and I'd remember nights where me and my guy BFFs would spend time at the bar talking about life, heartbreaks and goals over draft beer and a platter of nachos.
This was a different occasion tho. MC was a little gloomy and he wanted to chill somewhere. We ended up here after watching Heneral Luna.
I wasn't really hungry so we decided to split on their Shrimps platter and it was so good! ️
The place is cozy, and the people are really nice and accomodating. ️
Price-wise, hmm mid-range. They do have a lot of promos depending on the day/time you decide to dine. We got 20% off our meal.

Players is perhaps one of the very few places in this part of town where you can enjoy really good music and good food. Also known as an "excuse" by dads during days when the missus' indulges on long shopping spree, Players was previously known as San Mig, a place that comes alive only at night or during long weekends. The ambiance of the old San Mig pub was also laid back, and looks inclined to older clientele.
The new Players is one place here in the south that hosts a lot of good bands, all very good that I've not remembered any of their names..perhaps due to "San Mig" effect...haha! Players now caters to a wider generation of peeps as the interior theme is now more upbeat. I'm comparing it to a small Hard Rock. It's quite amusing that Players is full even during weekdays.
Players is now known for good food, good drinks and service that's tops, and even personal for the frequent bystanders. So don't worry, mesdames, your hubby is in good company here!

Place is now called Players Pub & Bistro
Wifey and I have always wanted to try eating in a "pub" similar to Joe's in Grey's Anatomy. We are also rarely in Alabang area and decided to look for a place we haven't tried before
We decided to get "pub food" - cheesy nachos, grilled sausage platter and bbq chicken pizza
For the food, it wasn't the best. Maybe our choices weren't their best sellers
Nachos - this may be the best among the three. Their cheese sauce can compete with the Nachos of other Mexican restos
Grilled Sausage Platter - bit of a disappointment. Among the four variants of sausages, only one was good. Even their sauerkraut was pretty bad.
Pizza was fine. It has a home-made feel to it which i appreciate
Good thing the beer was ice cold and the food is 35%off on Saturdays!!
Ohh, there is also a live band - although all members are already pretty old. :p

This place reminds me of "Strumms" in so many ways.
It feels good in listening to the songs of Eagles, Bread and more... It's indeed a chill place for the not so young at heart...
Sorry. No photos to share for now.

Nice place to hang out and have dinner at alabang town center. Oysters are fresh (with wine sauce, ambience is good.... However the singers of the band are not so good really.... The song "say something" was rendered monotonously... :-@ very good service by the staff

Pretty cool interiors. The fancy couches stood out to me the most! Also got a generous serving of nachos--very meaty and cheesy! Attentive waiters and pretty delicious cocktails.

Growing up in a place where alcohol was a crime punishable by a thousand lashes I have grown accustomed to the taste of non-alcoholic flavored beer. By the time I got to college where bars were just 2 minutes away from the university's gate, I think I may have gone overboard. It was endless drunken nights with college friends where we'd literally crawl back to our apartments after getting our drink on.
At the rightful age of 19 I have decided to take things slow and retire from partying early. (Yes, yes my friends tease me about being the manang of the group). But they eventually caught up with me and decided to take the slow road as well and thats when we found San Mig Pub.
It was your good old neighborhood pub with oldies at the bar (you know, rich old guys who hang around, watch the game and talk about life). This was it. This was our new tambayan. My friends got all the drinks they want and I had all the goodies to munch on.
One of their best is the Macho Nachos. The serving is literally bigger than you face! It surprises me how three people could gulp down an entire platter within minutes. It was that good! Unlike most places where nachos were 70% chips and 30% toppings. This had a 50:50 ratio. Which is a pretty good deal. Not one chip left that plate dry, that's for sure.
Another thing I love about this place is their washroom. It's really clean and adorned with Hagar the Horrible Comic strips! I found myself reading around there for longer than expected that I got weird stares from my friends by the time I got back.
If my memory serves me right we've celebrated 6 birthdays, 3 job promotions, 3 bad break-ups and 1 despidida at this pub. It's truly a gem in our friendship's treasure chest.
Aside from the good company, cold drinks and excellent food the place is just perfect for any occasion.
