Last Friday night, I met up with 2 of my college guy friends for dinner. Since they're guys, they need heavy meals. No salad, organic, gluten free, vegan, or anything healthy. 128517 I immediately thought of Poco Deli. I think they've been operating for a number months already. I just never had the chance to visit this place right away. I liked and enjoyed our visit in their Ayala Triangle branch so I suggested we try this place for dinner.

Poco Deli is located along 7th Ave. They're now occupying the place where the sandwich place used to be, Quiznos? The place is really nice. I love the design and feel of the place. Pang titas and titos of Manila. For their Wine, Deli, Sausage and/or Cheese nights! 128517128513

Anyway, it was already late and we were hungry so we ordered right away. Asked for their bestsellers and ordered what our server recommended.

Service was fast. In less than 10 minutes, the platter was served to us. Followed by the pasta. Last was the pizza which came after around 15-20 minutes.

SAUSAGE PLATTER. When I first ate in the Ayala Triangle branch, we ordered the Sausage Platter and we were able to choose the sausages that we want. But here, it was our server who selected the sausages. I asked him if we get to pick what we want but he just told us that he's done choosing for us. Oh well. Was not able to ask anymore because he left right away. Anyway, the platter was pretty good. Usual sausages. Sad lang since there was no Hungarian sausage. 128530 Same as before, it was the small ones that I liked the most. They're more tasty and less salty. Not as juicy but I liked them better. Served with olives, toasted bread/chips and Sauerkraut on the side. Kind of pricey at 750 pesos for the double size (2 big + 3 small sausages). But they say they're sausages are made without preservatives. 128518

SALMON PASTA. This was good but nothing too special. The pasta was al dente. Around 3-4 chunks of salmon. Served with a garlic toast on the side.

PROSCIUTTO PIZZA. The pizza was good. But how can you possibly go wrong with it, right? Thin crust w crispy edges. This was good but again, nothing extraordinary that will make them different from all the other pizza places. But still yummy and the prosciutto added were generous enough that you get a not so big but not too small piece in every slice. 128517128518128077🏼

Service was just okay. I just hope the servers were a bit nicer and more approachable. 128530

It's common knowledge that the best kind of bacon is the crispy type but we also know that anything bacon is love.

Poco Deli is know for their Bacon slab meal, gave it a chance and I liked it.

Their Truffle pasta was good as well.

The Beef Salpicao though was quite hard to chew and swallow.

You can also enjoy your meal with a bottle of wine as they have a wide selection.

This is one of the establishments who had problems on permits as well. Finally it's also open. Congratulations poco deli

The place is good for dates and meetings. It can accommodate 50 pax inside and then another additional 10 pax inside their function room. There's a Common CR also hidden at the left side near the counter.

It has high ceiling, classy glass exterior. Warm and sossy. The servers are a bit formal but smiles professionally. I can say they are not that well trained yet since they kept on relaying my questions to the person at the counter.

Pasta aldente, thick salmon chunks, tomatoes and cream base. There's a couple of tough garlic bread with it. I wish it were softer at the edges.. The sauce was thick and abundant. Have to wipe my mouth after taking a forkful of pasta.

There are spreads, wines, and artisanal sausages available also. The music is soothing and conducive for light or serious chatting. Another manifestation of a newbie server was when he took the bill without verifying the amount of money inside it.

My change never came, (or at least i did not wait for it to return) because service became slow. There were only a few customers then. Anyway, i still liked the food and ambience. 128521
