Something different to try in Poco Deli, aside from their mouthwatering sausages, is their baby back ribs. The one in my photo is only the single serving order. Imagine the slab being bigger than my hand.

Although not your fall-off-the-bone tenderness, the meat was soft enough and the marinate was perfectly done. I think 2 people can actually share this order, and just add rice. 128514

So if you're tired of having the usual bacon slab or wagyu sausage, try this dish. It'll definitely be worth it!

I super loved their truffle oil seafood pasta (400php). The citrus delight (150php) was so refreshing!

Service was good!

Everything is overpriced including the beers. Washroom is messy.

Two generous slabs of bacon paired with bacon rice and two sunny side up eggs. Couldnt get more satisfying than this! 128523

Food quality is consistent the several times I visited. Bacon Slab, Jamon de Oro, and Truffle Mushroom Pasta are favorites. 128077🏼

Poco Deli. It really is set up like a deli. Meats galore. Sausages, wursts, corned beef, tapas, etc.

Pictured here is one of two of their 'tapsilog' versions, the less 'fatty' option. With the 400+ pesos price tag per plate of these big boys, comes a generous amount of tapa, two eggs, and their signature bacon rice. Loved their brewed red iced tea as well; definitely not one of those run-of-the-mill Lipton sugar powerhouses.

The piece de resistance of this place would really be the Blackout Cake. Slightly bitter (which is perfect for dark chocoholics), the 'hindi matamis' tag (which means you can finish one slice on your own and you don't need to share, thank you very much) and the fact that it makes us sneeze is the needed validation that it is the real Mc Coy in chocolates. Just look at the second photo already.

Food. I am always motivated by food. I head out to be exposed to the scorching heat because of good food. I sleep early so that I have enough time to have breakfast. I workout so that I could... pig out.

It has been a long while since I last boxed but I still clearly remember the dinner I had after one of the few sessions. It was in Poco Deli, a few steps away from the Elorde Studio in Kapitolyo.

Hello, Poco Deli!

Only a few tables were occupied when we arrived a bit past 8 p.m.. Such sight proves how much Kapitolyo grew from a quiet residential area to a bustling foodie destination. Poco Deli used to be packed every day but since there are a lot of new restaurants to choose from, it affected the sausage restaurant’s business.

I got a plate of Pesto Pasta (PHP200) and a glass of Poco Deli’s Home Brewed Iced Tea (PHP85).

Service was quick and my drink was served in less than 5 minutes. I also got my pasta within the 15 minute mark.

My iced tea, as always was refreshingly delightful. I loved that this glass isn’t your usual Nestea Iced Tea. I have nothing against Nestea but it hurts when I have to pay premium for an iced tea I could buy from a supermarket at less than half the cost.

The pesto pasta was pretty good too. It had a nice and flavorful taste. It wasn’t overly oily too that’ll make me feel nasty after. The herby and nutty taste of the sauce was addicting and I felt sad after finishing my plate of pasta. *sigh*

Since we felt that something was missing, we hopped our way to the restaurant beside it for some homemade ice cream.

Good place. Smallish area, so expect the other diners at adjacent tables to inevitably eavesdrop on your conversations.

Tried this place for the first time today and wanted to see if they get the venerable 'tapsilog' right. They did, just would've wanted the beef tapa cooked more thoroughly and the waiter listened closely to my instructions that I preferred garlic rice rather than their bacon rice (which seems like plain rice drizzled with a scant amount of bacon bits).

Their dessert, the Blackout, is something of a 'must try' here.

We adore the decor of the place. It looks so European. We love how the bottles were all lined up on the shelf by the wall, the arched doorway leading to a small room with the bicycle hung on one side of the room, the paintings. It seemed like a simple European place. We loved it. We wish we could say the same for the food.

We ordered the Bacon Steak, the Beef Salpicao, and a bottle of wine (so we could cheers to my birthday. Cheers to being 25). The beef salpicao was amazing. It was bursting with flavor. And it didn't seem too oily. But the bacon steak (supposedly their bestseller) was a big letdown that hindered us from enjoying the lunch. It was too difficult to slice - even with a steak knife - and it was way too chewy. My jaw got tired from trying to breakdown a slice of the bacon. I also didn't get the "steakiness" of the dish. It just seem like a fat slice of bacon to me. No amazing steak flavor or whatever. The bacon rice should also not be called bacon rice. It was just a plain rice with some bacon bits on top. Nothing special.

As for the service... Well, the waiters/waitress were very attentive but they could do with a few smiles to the customers. They don't seem to want us in the place.

Overall, the experience was okay. Nothing amazing or extraordinary or memorable. Just okay.

We have not been to Poco Deli in a while...but we were never disappointed whenever we came over. For dinner last night we ordered our favorites... we had them cook a pack of Neuremburger, shared a mushroom truffle pasta and a salad, and got some bread. The sausages arrived first, followed by our bread and salad. We sent the sausages back to have them cook longer, as the middle part was still a bit cold. They came back perfect, juicier. The salad was dressed perfectly, veggies fresh and crisp. A perfect balance to the savory sausages. When we got our pasta though it was too salty. The manager offered to replace it and the replacement was seasoned just right. We finished everything and even picked up more sausages to bring home. Kudos to the resto for being quick and accomodating to our fixes making it a great dining experience.

It's my first time to try their homemade German meatloaf as I usually try their sausages and bacon slab/steak. I must say that their meatloaf is indeed a comfort food! Brings back nostalgia of your mom preparing breakfast for you

It's my second time here and I ordered Bacon Steak (again 128514). The meat was very tasty but after some few bites, I can already feel the umay. My counselor also ordered the sausage platter, which consists of hungarian sausage (i think) and two other kinds of sausages (w/c looks like longganisa to me). Overall, the food was ok and the service and ambience were great. I like it here but I think will try their other dishes next tym.

A Doctor at my workplace recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I celebrated my birthday here a month ago with friends. Yay! 128513

The place was hard to find and has a limited parking space but luckily we had one upon arrival. The place was small but the inside was great. So homy and cozy at the same time. The owners went to Europe to search for the best sausages and brought it here in our country. We ordered the following:

Chef's Salad. It was ok. Green Pasture and Earth Kitchen still serve the best Green Salad with a perfect dressing for me.

Wagyu Sausage Platter. The sausages were good. It's juicy, tender and flavorful. I should have ordered the bigger plate coz the small plate was kinda bitin for us.

Truffle Oil Pasta. The best! Pasta was al dente and sauce was creamy. 128076🏻

Bacon Slab. Their best-seller. Heaven yet sinful. A big no-no for people on diet. Hahaha Cheat day? Go and have it. 128514 I'm still thinking which one is better, Earth Kitchen's or Poco deli's Bacon. 128561

Blackout Chocolate Cake. Just like the Great Wall Chocolate of PF Changs, blackout chocolate is a must try. It's moist and rich in chocolate flavor. It would be perfect if it was made darker, Blackout Dark Chocolate Cake. Haha

We had imported beers. They serve wines too. I had Paulaner and it was perfect! I forgot the other beer with the chocolate flavor, my girl friends loved it!

It was kinda expensive but it's worth it. Next time I'm gonna go back, not my treat anymore. Hahaha

Just like Bellini (one more chance), It's a good place for barkada. Make sure you do reservation if going in big group to avoid the long wait. I heard it's one of fave places of Pres. Aquino and he loves the Bacon Slab too.

Wine Cellar at my back on the photo. Birthday pose! 128514128514128514

I had German Sausage Platter (Solo) and my partner had Truffle Oil Pasta.

I love how the sausages tasted perfect and very very juicy. And it was perfect to be paired with Sauerkraut.

The pasta was creamy and you can really really taste the truffle oil in the pasta. You can either have it with just mushrooms or seafood.

Price wise, a bit pricey but worth it.

I ordered 40 takeout Keilbasa Sausage Sandwich for our office event. As I expected out of the 40 only 10 were given much attention and the others were just placed inside the box. Though their sausage is good.

Found this small deli in Kapitolyo which is not that appealing on the outside but once you go inside you will fall in love with the place at once. The smell of food being cooked and the homey ambiance will put a smile on your face 128522 They have a variety of home made sausages cooked in perfection and yummy flavors of artisenal ice cream 128077 Their Bacon Slab is also a must-try!

I love everything about this place. This is the ideal deli I'd love to sit in, eat, and enjoy without a care in the world. The quaint and homey ambience makes for a very chill and relaxed vibe, which is why I prefer the original branch over the more bustling & newer branch in Makati.

The sausages are prepared really well and are cooked to perfection. And that slab (yes, SLAB) of bacon is worth every minute of EDSA traffic it takes to get here! Just being able to unwind with a good beer and some good meat in a place like this already makes my day.

They do make their own artisinal ice cream as well. Was able to try the gorgonzola & fig flavor. I found it really good. It tasted like a sweet and creamier bleu cheese with the fig adding that tinge of tartness as the perfect complement. Made me want to go back just to try the other interesting flavors available! 128515
