Started the trek by passing through a typical cordillera village, where the guide pointed out where they kept the chickens and pigs. That was really enjoyable. Then we started our ascent with a trek amidst vegetables farms, then up through a path that moved up, up, up. Then I heard the roar of the waterfalls. And it was a lovely sight. We decided to plunge into its very cold waters for a quick dip. We had a great day!

Another first.

Tour guide cost: 600.
Tip, SAGGAS tour guides are better. For this attraction we had ours from the municipal area and the guide did nothing great. Did not even explained a thing. He did not even told us that we have to pay 10 pesos per head inside the village for an entrance. Good thing we did not left all our money in our car.

For saggas. Ask for sir mariano lapig or laping. Not so sure but I think his fellows would know.

Going to the drop off point is far, farther than the famous sumaguing cave so you need to rent a car /jeep if you dont plan to exhaust yourself even before the trail.

Pongas falls have an easier trail than bomod-ok. Nothing to worry cause the view is as beautiful and unique.

Braise yourself because the trail going to the falls would take you around 1-1.5 hours depending on your stamina because the walk is mostly uphill, like climbing hundreds of steps up!!! 128170 on the other hand, going back is easy, and it only took us 40 minutes.

The falls isn't that big and the pool catching the water is very slippery with a lot of algae floating. So i suggest that you stay with the rock walls and amaze yourself with the very very cold water!

The trail is fun and the scenery during the walk is awesome. Just be extra careful jot to fall. 128521

Tip: don't stuck yourself in the pool cause you might have an itchy but going home.
