They have the coolest drink names! A bit pricier than Starr's. I think the disco aura attempt is a failure but okay na.

Just when I said I'm done with cronuts, I got a box of these. Haha! I swear I'm not searching for cronuts anymore but they keep appearing out of nowhere. Anyway, this version reminded me of Pasteleria Mallorca's Argellanas. They're like otap. I love argellanas and otap so it's a no brainer that I like Popshakes' cronuts. But they're too dry, flaky and crusty. In fact they're messy when you eat them, bits and pieces falling from every bite. Some may not fancy this version but they're okay. At least not so oily as Dunkin Donuts' version.

Belgian chocolate milkshake! It was really really good! I loved its consistency. I actually felt full after one small order of 89php
My friend ordered Blue Raspberry. It was okay. It didnt really taste like raspberry. It seriously tast like vanilla sundae but with great consistency.
Oh and one more thing, they have A LOT of board games!!!
Will definitely come here again. And next time, i'll try their Premium milkshakes

Not the best tasting shakes in katipunan. Too thick and flavors dont taste natural (even their bestseller, strawberries n cream ugh umay and after taste ugh). For me, the shakes are overpriced for its taste and size. Good point: it's a good tambay place. Love the fact that they have board games, jenga, and other indoor games. Lol!

I've been here twice and both visits, my orders did not disappoint!
On my first visit with my friend, I ordered Ma-Dough-Na (Nutella cookie dough), and their macaroons (calamansi white chocolate and salted caramel)-- I liked the salted caramel one better.
Our orders didn't take too long to arrive, and we both fell in love with it on our first sip! It was really good for me, but also felt like the sweetest sin I've ever committed-- some may find it too sweet but it was just what my friend and I were looking for.
It was thick and flavorful, to me worth the price.
My second visit, I took someone else to try it and ordered their Blueberry cheesecake (here I go again with the cheesecake craze) and watched as they made it, they actually blended cheesecake on to it and tasted like, well, a blueberry cheesecake!
Like I said, take caution that most of their crazy flavors may appeal only to those with a mad sweet tooth like me. I certainly want to come back to try out their S'mores and Red Velvet flavors!
The ambiance was pretty cute, the idea put together was interesting-- game boards were available, as well as pillows on the floor. Would have been nicer if the area was bigger, but I could understand that since being their first and only branch (or is it?) they would give it a try first. Works for me!

I've been wanting to try out this place and when I did today, I was really disappointed. I saw on FB the other day that they were now selling macaroon for only Php25 per piece so today I just decided to go for it because of my macaroon craze.
I felt like ordering a fruit shake so I opted for the Banana shake (Php75). Sadly I didn't taste the banana at all! I was looking for the fruity taste but all I got was milk
maybe I made a wrong choice but still, I was expecting all thee shakes to be good including this since well they're a shake place!
As for the macaroons, you get what you pay for. There were only two flavors: Salted Caramel and White Chocolate Calamansi. Yeah the Calamansi macaroon just tasted weird for me, too tangy for a dessert like that. But then the texture was okay. And the Salted Caramel was just caramel filling that tasted more like butterscotch to me. It was also too airy, like when you bite on it, it just cracks.
So I guess if I do come back I'll just try their best-sellers. Perhaps those are the only ones that actually taste good.

What a hot afternoon it was and I looked for something to cool me down a bit. Of course, i have consulted looloo so that i can also try something 'different' this time. And there, I found myself in Popshakes. I've read some good reviews and, yes, I must agree.
Their store was really cute: tiny but very funky. They have around 30+ flavors and it was named after some Pop icon, singer or song which was really cool. So for today I tried their Caramel Cookie Dough called "One Dough-rection". Well, for a sweet tooth, I liked it but for some it may be too sweet. I appreciate also the cookie bits and yea, one of the best cookie milkshakes I've tasted.
Plus plus points also for the 'value for money' 'cause their milkshakes start at around P85.00. They have also some pastries which are affordable, too. I'll surely go back for the nutella, blueberry cheesecake and red velvet milkshakes.
Cèleste!
Happy Tummy.

Em D!!! I still liked Starr's Caramel Cookie Dough over Popshakes' One Dough Rection
It was really too sweet for me, I think it's the sweetest drink I've tasted my whole life! The cookie dough bits seemed like it was just made up of a ball of sugar...
Still thinking if I should try out their red velvet or not.
Plus one star because of the really amusing names on their menu!

Can I give popshakes ?
I liked the place, it has pop art-ish decors and laser lights(?) Very colorful!! I'm not sure if many people stay there after buying, if yes then I think the place is too small (only 2 tables but they had mats with pillows) When we went there, though, nobody else was there so I found the space okay.
I was too preoccupied with enjoying the milkshake after I first tasted it, hence, the half-empty photo
I had trouble choosing among the flavors (very catchy names, i must say) but ended up ordering MA-DOUGH-NA - nutella cookie dough. It had me at NUTELLA. Haha. Plus COOKIE DOUGH pa? Jackpot!
Loved that I could still chew on bits of cookie dough (tasted like chocolate chip) and me having a sweet tooth only added to the satisfaction.
Seriously, it was heaven in a cup....You won't be able to resist the "ahhhhhhh saraaaaap" reaction I believe it was love at first sip

We were in search for something to drink after we ate isaw at UP. We then decided to have some doughnuts at Cello's but then we arrived a little bit late and they were already closed. The good thing is I saw the sign of Popshakes right before we entered the K2 building and decided to try something new :)
Upon entering, the place is a bit small but has this cozy vibe. Maybe only around 12 customers can dine at the same time. They also have this nook where you sit on a mat with some pillows. So Relaxing. The place was filled with pictures of famous stars and menus which are colorful and pleasing to the eyes.
WHAT WE ORDERED:
Nicknames
LADY GAGA- Nutella
ONE DOUGH-RECTION- Caramel Cookie Dough
STRAWBERRIES N CREAM- Strawberry Fields
VIVA LA VELVET- Red Velvet
My favorite was my order- the viva la velvet. Just the right mix of cream cheese and chocolate dough. Mmmm. So yummy! The other's i've took a sip, and loved the taste and texture as well!
What i loved about Popshakes is they've come up with creative names for their milkshakes! ( Katy Berry, Life of Pie, Maroon 3, O' Bieber)
I've read every nickname of the orders at the menu and was amazed on how creative the mind can work!
Visit them! There milkshakes are must tries! :)

If you're looking for a hip hang out place, then head over to Popshakes! It's also the place that will revive the youth in you because of the old school songs and the available board games you've definitely played during your childhood.
I ordered their Alanis S'MOREsette cause the name was so cute and I wanted to try out a flavor I haven't tasted from other establishments that offer milkshake.
The ingredients were thoroughly blended together but you can distinguish every bit of them. Like you can taste the graham and chocolate even if you can barely see them in your drink. There was also a generous amount of marshmallows in it that I enjoyed.
My friend ordered their Red Velvet milkshake and I was kind of disappointed cause I couldn't taste the red velvet or cream cheese (if there's any) flavor much nor were there any red velvet chunks to savor. That's was quite a let down.
Anyway, what makes this place interesting is how they weaved the concept of popular culture (or POP culture) in their drinks and interiors, just in time when everyone is going back to the retro or hipster fashion.
Go here early so you can enjoy their mosh pit! I will definitely come back for their soda floats and cakes inside the jar!!

A charming little place that really wants you
to stay, hang out, and have fun.
Tried their belgian chocolate (Van Damme something -P89) and it was better than I thought it would be. Very refreshing and not to mention, a great value for money. I love how the place doesn't take itself seriously. Even the corny names for their drinks made me laugh.
Service was a bit slow but I'm sure it will pick up soon. You can also play their board games too.

I had a great experience. The milkshakes are really yummy. The desserts were good too. Plus, it's a great place to hang out. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

After having my nails done at Nail Bar, my boyfiend and I decided to try out a new milkshake bar in Katipunan--Popshakes. They even have a Looloo sticker on their door!
I ordered One Doughrection (cookie dough). At first I didn't get why it was named as such until bf explained. Ahhh, so that's why the store is called POPshakes. One Doughrection tastes good. It has that just right amount of sweetness in it. Hindi nakakaumay.
The place is small but nice. They have board games (they have sungka! ) you can use while waiting or if you wish to stay. They also have a low-lying area with mats and bean bags. I wanted to sit there but the mats looked dirty.
My drink tastes good, but not as good compared to Starrs. On the other hand, paying 115php for the 16oz was worth it.

Freaking awesome, if youre a pop lover (im a musician, drummer to be specific) your gonna love this place, they have popart all over the place, with good music and goodvibes! Of course their Milkshakes are great but this one caught my attention, they call it the HARLEM SHAKE (cool names as well), its a chocolate potato chip milkshake!!! and its just 120 pesos!!! so cool! They also have pastries but what i love is their lasagna, they sell it for just 99 pesos! super cheap for the quality. I also hung out at their Moshpit area, where you can sit on the floor as if youre in your friends living room,Astig! . Cheers and more power!

If it weren't for Nielli M. & Angela G. who shared their Popshakes reviews here on looloo, I never would've known about this awesome new place in Katip. It's in the building of Mercury Drug, which is also where Ciello's and Gino's Brick Oven Pizza are located
They have a really cute place perfect for catching up with friends or killing time (they have board games!!) or just enjoying your milkshake. I had a hard time ordering since I kept on making side comments thanks to the names of their drinks!! They had a Michael Jackson drink (Oreo drink kasi HAHAHUHU), Katy Berry, Lady Gaga ('cause she's NUTSella).. Basta their drinks are so funny and the owner is very nice! I had a great time telling her how corny (but funny) their drinks are! She also took the time to explain why they were named that way.. Yes I can be as slow as a turtle, too.
I ordered their one doughrection, which according to the owner, was one of their best sellers. I would've gotten Lady Gaga but I wanted to play it safe.. Hehe. I absolutely loved it! It had these bits which were chewy and just.. Omnomnom
I'm definitely coming back to try their other unique drinks and their food.
BTW, spotted a looloo sticker on their door they've been looloofied and it's awesome!!

Mmm caramel cookie dough milkshake! Milkshake's not icy, but don't expect thick milkshakes! Prices range from 89-115! Not bad for milkshakes, also they have a variety of flavors, so far i've tried the caramel cooking dough and the butterscotch almond. I want to try the burnt sugar banana next, and maybe the smores one! My dad loves their rum raisin milkshake too. The place itself has boardgames so people can hangout and play a game or two!
