Definitely one of the best I ever had!

Product: we ordered T.E. Crispy Chicken Burger, T.E Burger with Parmesan Crisp, Todd English Poutine, and T.E. Iced Teas. My first thought when our drinks came was that I am already in love with this place and already planning on coming back just because of the drink containers alone, I know, it's very shallow. I tasted it and it was really different among the iced teas I have ever had. It was the sweet but with a different touch into it, probably a very light version of iced teas.

The chicken burger was crispy and so beautiful. When I took a photo of it, It was like I fell in love with how good looking it was. But the taste makes it even more satisfying to the bones. The chicken was seasoned with the right ingredients, combined with the lettuce and the sauce and it's just.. it's everything.

With the burger, I admit that I made a mistake with choosing Parmesan Crisp, it's hard to partner with the burger if you plan on eating it by hand, which is the best and should be the only way to eat a burger in my opinion, it cracks very easily because of how thin it is. The burger alone tastes amazing already. I actually saved some just to share some with my dad who happens to love burgers also. I could've finished the whole thing but I needed to tell someone about this. Although the serving isn't that big, finishing a burger is a big thing for my small appetite, it's just that good.

I've never had poutine but for my first try, this already set up a pretty high boundary among the other ones I have yet to eat. I am more of a fries+ketchup/mayo kind of person but this changes the fries+gravy game because the gravy alone is already bringing the A-game to the table and fries goes along with anything. Some of the fries are just a little bit burnt but the gravy can cancel that flavor. Ohh and the cheese, I think about this everyday, cheese is the special ingredient to almost anything.

Venue: we chose this place out of nowhere, we planned on eating somewhere else but when we passed by the place, looked at the menu, and just went in without having second thoughts. I love the interior of this place. It is romantic and comfortable and calming all at once. The servers are nice as well, they're always running around the place assisting customers so they're kinda hard to call because they focus on one customer at a time. I think that's a good thing. That is what we experienced when we got there. The service is just the right amount of waiting time: not quick nor slow. Definitely recommending this place to people around.

Sarap talag dito. Ang mura pa. A good option if you work in the area.

It was our first time to order Bacon Poutines, they were amazing! Especially the gravy.

Chicken wrap was good, Chicken Burger, always.

My sister and I came to just have a small snack... so we asked for sliders 127828

T.E Sliders with extra Gorgonzola cheese 🧀 155 + 50
Bacon & Egg sliders 200

The Bacon & Eggs were so good and so cute with little quail egg on too. The bacon was thick cut and the flavor was just perfect for that tiny bite! - I wish they have a bigger version on this burger though...

The T.E Burger sliders is better this way. For my own preference I wouldn't order the bigger version of it.

Their price is good.

If you fancy a burger... this place is better to go to rather than Mcdonalds. Mcdonalds burger is more expensive!

The Todd English Poutine is a must-try! 128077🏻

The Goat Cheese salad was also not bad - fried goat cheese ravioli on a bed of lettuce drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette. The healthier compensation for the fatty poutine goodness. 128584

Pokémon Go has been all the craze for the past few weeks. And having work friends who are quite addicted to the game has influenced me to become an addict as well. We're heard that BGC has tons of Pokéstops as well as rare Pokémons in the area. So... someone suggested that we visit BGC after work to hunt for Pokémon. 128514 Well, the hunt was pretty fruitful cos I was able to catch a Charizard. 10084

Post Pokémon hunting, I was suggesting restaurants that we passed by while hunting to the group and when I said "burger" when asked what was served at Pound, one of them immediately said yes. 128514

I got the Pound for Pound sliders which was a T.E. Slider and a Crispy Chicken Slider. It was okay. I found the Crispy Chicken a bit weird because of the sweet, sour and spicy sauce. But my biggest complaint would be that their sliders are so small... You can actually eat the whole T.E. Slider in one bite... 128533 Well, maybe 2. For the price, it wasn't worth it.

The other photo is the Bacon and Egg slider. My friend said it was good but same issue, the size! It would have been great too if this was offered in a regular sized burger.

We also got the truffle fries. This was probably the night's saving grace. The fries dipped in the truffle ketchup was divine!! 128077🏼

Truffle fries is good and when you dip it to their truffle ketchup, it brings it to another level! 128077128077

I guess it's because I tried Todd English Food Hall first that I found the pricing of Pound by Todd English quite fair. Although in truth, the size of their burgers don't really justify the price range all that much. I tried their Crispy Chicken Burger and it was okay. The chicken fillet was very juicy and I really liked the sauce. My friends all had the T.E. burger so I had a bite and it was bland for me. If I were in BGC and feeling like stopping for a burger I would probably just head over to 8 Cuts at Serendra. 9996🏼️

It was a great time to hit Pound! Been hearing a lot of good things about it, and when I saw the restaurant signage I had to tell my brother that we would eat there. Thing is, I forgot what they were serving here. When we checked out the menu, it all came back to me now. This joint served burgers aaaand I was with my brother who had an appetite that day.

My order was the chicken sliders and my brother ordered the T.E. burger. We added the truffle fries and the onion cube as sides. No beers for us since it was lunch and we needed to get back to the office.

The burgers are a bit pricey for the size. They taste great but given the size, my brother wasn't satisfied. Funny thing was, I was taking photos of my sandwich that when I glanced up at his burger, he had two bites left to go. 5 bites lang?! For sure I knew he was going to be hungry after so I offered the other half of my chicken slider. I liked my sandwich but it was nothing special. I am going back for that foie gras burger though. Wait for me, Pound!!!

The truffle fries are good for one person. I'm not too keen on ordering it the next time. The onion cube was worth it! It does come in the form of a cube. It tasted great, there was a good crunch to it, the batter wasn't very spicy and it's good to share too. The sauce helps elevate the flavor, too . Had I not been coughing I would have been happy to have an order to myself. For a block of fried onion rings, this didn't seem very oily.

I liked the setting and the ambience. It's charged for sure! Wait for me foie gras burger, wait for me!!

Went to BGC for Pokemong Go hunt haha & try Pound by Todd,

Ordered,

127866Ginger Ale
127828 T slider burger
127839 Poutine Todd Fries
127834 Risotto Truffle

🍽 it's all about Quality than Quantity, however...
🔸 the burger, really exceptional, fresh beef and juicy and soft bun, little portion but really filling and very very worth to try,
🔸the risotto truffle, in the first i thought is hashbrown, turns out it's a risotto mold like a small cube and fried in truffle oils, it''s just melt in your mouth
🔸 the poutine fries so cheesy and a perfect blend!

128176 very reasonable(all below P1k)

Go try guys! Worth your pocket and your fat! Hahaha

Passed by this place and dine here for my mom's bday. She wanted burger so this is a perfect find. The place is small but not crowded. We ordered Fries, poutine, crispy chicken burger and Amsterdam burger..

Their amsterdam burger is WORTH THE TRY! A must-try! Must order! Must taste! Must everything. It's so juicy, and soft.. Soooooo irresistible 100841008410084️ promise, as in, worth your P280! It may be smaller than zark's, but the quality is oh so good.

Their chicken burger is good, too.

Good find, no regrets, just incredible food. 10084

Tried my brother's T.E. burger and his pre-bite warning was correct - it was rather bland. We both loved the poutine. To be honest, I think the Amsterdam Burger I had awhile ago wasn't as good as the one I first had some months back. I didn't even take advantage of the then PWYW promo because I had really loved it. But, yeah, still love the experience here. A+ for service too.

Man cave! Well, almost. What the resto delivers in terms of a sturdy, well textured underground cellar ambiance is marred only by the lack of good and solid beer on the menu.

The menu is short, very short, in fact it's far shorter than the tunnel by which you enter the distant beckoning rear of the restaurant, but this is good, because it doesn't take long to order and the eating can start quickly!

I had the Amsterdam burger and Apple had the T.E. Burger. We shared a plate of T.E. Poutines. It's difficult to get a burger this good. And the poutines were just excellent.

In my opinion it takes two things to make a democracy work well: honest justice and good education - with both of these present you cannot miss.

But with a restaurant there's a magic triangle that must be present before the experience can be called good: ambiance, good food and friendly service. Pound delivered on all three. I will be back. Jian and crew delivered excellently. Thank you guys!

But, why not 5 stars? I gave my thoughts to Jian on this. It was the beer. The beer. The beers on the menu are all light lagers. Yet the food begs something more robust. They serve San Miguel beers, but they do not include the Cervesa Negra. The Amsterdam burger deserves to be chomped while supping at least a Negra, but would do far better with a Proudly Filipino Kalayaan IPA, or a Crazy Carabao Exit Wounds IPA.

And real beer is never served from a can. Please. Never. It has a funny taste.

Apparently, a Friday evening at 6:30pm is still a peaceful time to have your burger craving at Pound by Todd English. My sister and I went last night only to find having the place for our selves. As if we're having a private dinner for our enjoyment which I kinda like. Either the evening hasn't started yet or the craze over their burger has subside.

Sooo, let's talk about their food now. What we had is their Amsterdam Burger which my sister opt to have a parmesan crisp. Others serve it as a skirt to the burger but theirs is just placed somewhere else. The burger is small compare to the usual size we order but well compensated for its price. I love how their patty delivers its promise of nothing but pure beefy goodness. There's some juice when you try to squeeze it further. And oh that pastrami, it adds a good texture to an already mouth watering patty. The mustard is richly applied all over the bun that suites my liking and also that toasted brioche which is a soft and crispy. And well, they have their signature sign burnt on top of the bun. The Todd English signature poutine fries is meaty and cheesy. It's actually kinda overwhelming but the cheese is just so good. Right amount of mozzarella to cover the meat beneath and lots of crispy fries. Who can say no to that? Their ice tea is sour with a kick of raspberry or something. Can't quite figure out. It has a stronger flavor than that of the four seasons.

The service is great, and the place is peaceful like what I said. Attentive staffs and good food. Todd English has always delivered and having a place dedicated for their burgers is a right choice.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long, but my cravings kept me from eating burger for months. Hmmm.. The place is nice and cozy, it's cold and well lit, nothing bad about the interiors nor the ambiance. Servers were friendly. Food was okay. The T.E. crispy chicken burger, pizza poutine and extra order of fries were all good, just not the OMG level.

Had dinner here after merienda at Go Bento with my best friend. The ambiance really sets the mood and I love the copper cups. It has that old English pub feel to it.

Scanning the menu, I was surprised that it wasn't that pricey. We ordered the T.E. Crispy Chicken Sliders (2pcs) for Php 195, Crispy Goat Cheese Salad (Php 150), and the Todd English Poutine (Php 180).

Out of the three, only the poutine I didn't like so much. The salad was fantastic! I loved the raspberry vinaigrette and it totally complimented the deep fried goat cheese ravioli, mixed greens and baby heirloom tomatoes. I would have loved more of the cheese ravioli though. Hehe.

The sliders had a sweet and spicy flavor to it, with pickled slaw and cilantro aioli. I loved the brioche bun and the combination of all those flavors. One slider is enough for small eaters.

I would totally love to go back here and try the other items. The service was also top notch. Very friendly and attentive.
