First time to watch a movie in Rockwell! Haha! No judging! 9996🏼

Though we were here for a block screening, I think that the Rockwell cinemas are good! I also like how you can bring in food and drink items that are not popcorn and softdrinks. The seats had the right space and were not as cramped as other movie houses. One down and funny side though was that the movie already started and the lights were still on. It was only after 2-3 minutes into the movie that the lights were turned off.

Please watch the weeklong run of ABS CBN Film Restoration in cooperation with Rockwell Development, Film Development Council of the Philippines' REELive the Classics. Selected, restored and remastered classic Filipino films are showcased in this pocket film showcase. As part of their dedication to restored both old and contemporary films, they premiered in celebration of its 20th Anniversary, Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes' Magic Temple. Cast and crew came to support this box office hit during the 1996 MMFF. It was one of the defining films of a lot of Filipino kids back in the day, and i was no different. I loved this film and seeing it restored and clean and the colors vibrant is such a miracle. The ABS CBN Film Restoration team has done another great job! Catch it again on Wednesday 12:00nn. Price per film is 230pesos.

This was a by invitation only red carpet event that i attended. Entrance was compliments of ABS CBN.

Nostalgia. This cinema was our usual movie date place over ten years ago. And I haven't been here in ages!

I like how it's aged well. Now equipped with Dolby Atmos, but the chairs have been re-done. All chairs are now "love seat" friendly. This was one of the first theaters to feature couple-friendly seats.

So good job to the theater / mall guys. The ticket booth which seemed high tech before, but used too much space, has been made simpler. Was surprised Powerplant cinema to still be popular (long queues) but seeing the quality and chairs, and everything else, it's still quite good (plus the store selection in this mall remains to be great) . While there certainly are better designed lobbies (Greenbelt 3 comes to mind; also Uptown and even Fisher Mall), the movie sound, chairs, food, are more key to me. And this one still has it.

Oh, I did watch Inferno here. Good movie. Fast pace, though not as good as the book. Mahusay pa rin si Tom Hanks. Quite pricey at P300, though it's Atmos, justifiable, I suppose. Only drawback is that the wife has more shopping temptations here. 128513

P.S. At the food selling area, is quite a huge popcorn bucket at only P115, marginally more expensive than the much smaller tumbler at P90. Their sour cream is good. May laban sa Taters. Maybe even better sour cream nila both in taste and seasoning amount. And better value for money popcorn.

P.P.S. They sell Salted Egg Chips by Salcedo Park fame House of Crisps here. Solid.

This marks the second time for yours truly to watch a movie at Plant. First time was two years ago - an awful movie with Dane DeHaan's baby blue eyes. September 7, 2014. Do not ask why i remember the date. Something awesome happened that day hence itt is forever etched in my memory.

Anyway, the cinema is nice. The crowd is quiet despite the awful movie playing on the screen. There's leg room and the picture / sound is good. Chairs are comfy too.

I loved the interior of the theater especially the subdued lighting while waiting for the full show to start. Cinema 3 has a VERY good Dolby Atmos setup.

It's been years since I saw a movie at this cinema. One of the comfiest seats and cheap popcorns still.

80PHp for plain popcorn not bad. We saw Me Before You best to watch this with your girl friends because you can help but cry during the movie. 128514128557 will surely read the book! I love the movie 128513

Watched X-MEN Apocalypse last May 21 in the afternoon with my family. So lucky that there were some cosplayer of X-Men apocalypse. I was able to have picture taking with them.'

This was our first time to watch at this fancy cinema, the movie theatre was not that big but very clean, secured and private. Hubby and I were separated from our kids as the seats was almost occupied and glad that my kids are safe.

The movie was awesome! Worth watching 128076

Watching a movie is a great way to escape this horrendous summer heat. The temperature inside the cinema was comfortably cold.

Hubby was very happy with our fourth row seats in Cinema 5. There was enough leg room for him since there weren't any seats in front of us. We were happy too that there was a wall behind us. It was like this row was an after thought. A bit close to the screen than what we prefer but the "privacy" and leg room will make us choose these seats again.

Watched Deadpool last Saturday. Purchased tickets online for a last full show. Movie started on time. Chairs were super comfy. I got a seat (M15) that is perfect for a solo movie goer, it was a bit separated from the next seat and it's an aisle seat. I really liked it and might go here every time I will watch a movie by myself.

Cinematic viewing at its perfection. The sound is superb, picture quality is crisp, and the seats are very, very comfortable. The Dolby Atmos Sound system really sets this apart from other cinemas.

My only hesitation is with Makati offering free viewing for senior citizens. While I commend the LGU for the treatment of their elders, some of them tend to abuse this privilege by going to the movies only to sleep and otherwise chat while the movie is on-going. Some of them even arrive late thus disturbing the other viewers. Just today there was a senior citizen who took a three-minute phone call in the cinema!

And this rating goes to "Honor Thy Father". Heck, the 5 stars here weren't enough to justify how good this movie is. Won't spoil it because you really just have to watch it. Good 1st movie for 2016 127881

Watched the Hitman during our family day out. That movie was so badass! I enjoyed the action scenes and the super cool 'agaw-buhay' shots.

The cinema is big, altho the seats are not quite elevated. So there will be a lot of times na you'll see the head of the person in front of you. 128529

Nontheless, the theatre is big and clean while the crowd is quiet during the movie. 128077

Watched San Andreas at cinema 6, a Dolby Atmos theater recently renovated. Seats comfortable enough but quite tight to hold a bulky human but looks strong enough to hold a 200lb plus person like me. 128522
