I am most likely the most embarrassing person to bring when wall climbing.

I was with Em D yesterday trying wall climbing again for the first time after 10+ years and clearly, I've forgotten how scary it was. Well, it wasn't THAT scary. I just needed to express my emotions lol.

From "Holy S***" to WTF, I think I've screamed enough curse words for someone passing by to think I'm being stabbed.

After I got down, I was asked, "Bakit ang ingay mo?" 128517

Our belayers were Kuya Mike and Kuya Toto. 2 calm and kind guys who were very patient with the questions we had. "Bakit parang di po ako makahinga - ang sikip?" "Bakit po walang ibang tao?"

They patiently answered my questions too while I was already climbing.

"What am I going to do neeeext????!!"

"Right white rock!"

"Nooooo!!! It's slippery!!!"

"Stop screaming!??!!" I looked beside me and it was Em. Bahaha. Sowrry.

I was told that an hour of non-stop wall climbing can burn 900 calories. We probably did 10 minutes. Ah well. Good enough reason to eat Cold Stone after. 128540

We paid Php 150 each for one climb. It was fun although I'm not sure it's fun enough that I'd do it twice a week. Haha. Maybe once every... Year. Lol.

Or maybe I should try the one along Tandang Sora. Game EJ D Celine J Pam L Jacy L Stephen C Erick B!!!

My muffin tops woke me up one day and told me to get my lazy ass out of bed and get a workout in. Then I had the brilliant idea to go rock-climbing! Whut whuuuut!

This is the rock-climbing place inside BHS's ROX. Pros: because it's inside ROX, the place is air conditioned! Cons: because it's inside ROX, random shoppers can hear you squeal like a girl because you're afraid of heights.

It was P550 for an unlimited whole day climbing pass, including equipment and a belayer dude. If you're looking to climb with a friend, try not to come in too early. When we tried it, there was only one belayer so we had to take turns.

Overall, it was pretty cool. The instructors were nice (and are good at motivating/scaring you) and the walls itself were designed for n00bs to advanced climbers.
