I was tagged by a friend to try this crossfit club along Chino Roces Avenue 2 weeks ago. I was hesitant at first, but also excited at the same time. 128513

Why hesitant? I did some functional exercises (circuit) before and felt that my core isn't built for the intensity of that kind of training. Why excited? I was really curious what are the routines they're doing aside from burpees, push-ups, elbow planking, etc.

I arrived around 8:00pm for the #TeamTuesday workout and witnessed how the 7:30pm team execute the workout. Fast forward to our 8:30pm schedule, we did some warm-up before everything else. I forgot what they're called, but I think I still know how to do it, mostly warming up the lower body for stability. Then we had the Partner EMOM or the "buddy workout". One person will do the first routine (MB Squat) while the other person is executing the second (Elbow Planking), for 40 seconds - 10 rounds, and then vice versa.

The 4RFT 25minute-workout was more intense than I could ever think of. We need to do 4 rounds of 40 Box Jumps, 40 MB Squats & 40 Burpees each person in the said time cap. While your partner is doing the workout, you can take a rest but that was just like 20-30 seconds to breathe! I really felt like I died during the workout, especially with doing the burpees. Lol. Good thing, my partner has stronger core and he did some burpees for me! 128584128584128584 #SorryNotSorry

In the end, we all had fun working out as a group! What's fun in group workouts is It keeps you going and motivated to continue pushing. They also have other workout activities such as BootCamp, Rowing workouts (using the Row machine) which targets your back, arms, core and legs; and Weights club (using barbells).

The place was pretty neat and clean. The workout area was big enough to accommodate maybe a hundred? They had showers and lockers by the way. They also have some nice and decent equipments that are perfect with executing your workout. The whole club's construction was still in progress though, so you might think you're in a wrong building when you went there. It used to be a warehouse and they're working on the look of the club to be more decent and accessible to everyone's attention.

Thanks to Primal Ape for giving me a chance to experience and do CrossFit! 128077🏼
