When I stayed here last year in July, the resort was on a promotional rate of about 8,000 I think. While I was briefed that the resort was in its soft opening stage, what they failed to inform me was that it was only 35% operational and that the rest of the facilities were still all under construction. Maybe that's why j think I was the only one checked in the resort that time. The rooms were tastefully and nicely decorated, complete with pool access from my balcony. I was told the pools were not using chlorine for the environmental concerns of the area. Ok with me but as I learned from my stay, using only rock salt to clean the pool also means one thing: frogs in the pool which was gross. I was swimming and enjoying my time until I saw a big frog swimming near me. That was the last time I touched the water there as I refused to get warts on my skin from the big frog. From there the series of disappointments kicked in. The sand bar they have in their ads and brochures is clearly a photo shopped version as there is no way one can have a clear photo of the sand bar as depicted in the ad or brochure. The cable car was nowhere near completion and the items in the gift shop didn't have prices even if you ask the staff. No leadership here so it seemed all the staff were just running around like headless chickens. Really disappointing stay because of the amount of money they charge for an incomplete or unfinished resort. FAIL BIG TIME.

The only 5-star resort in Puerto Princesa. They have a huge pool with lounges perfect for chilling and relaxing. Get the beachfront villas!

The beach is not that pretty, the best ones are in honda bay. They have buffets dinners and also a cocktails bar.
