Hey hey, the med student is one exam away from summer break!!!

The past year has always been study study study and the only times I get to dine out and explore new food is when I have a long weekend, someone invited me to an important occasion, I am so tired of studying (escape mechanisms). Now, Project Pie in Tomas Morato is just two blocks from the Starbucks I always study in, means I have easy access to yummy personalized pizzas!!

This combo was lit. Pesto sauce x mozzarella x ricotta cheeses x pepperoni x mushroom x caramelized onion x garlic x prosciutto. Need I ask for more? It was an awesome mix of cheeses and pesto!!!!

Tip: prosciutto is one of the good things that happened to my pizzas 128523

I just love the BYO (Build Your Own) concept of Project Pie! They also have a wide assortment of premium ingredients that make premium quality pizza. I am a pan pizza girl but I love their thin crust pizza that gives panizza feels.

Project Pie also has the BYO concept with their salad but I automatically get the James Project Salad – that is, greens with chicken, feta, craisins, candied walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette. (most likely named after James Markham who conceptualized the Design. Build. Eat that is Project Pie). The salad actually draws me back to Project Pie more than the pizza. =)

It was the start of the Lenten Season and I promised not to eat meat on Fridays.

Most restaurants offer Lenten specials and it wouldn't be a problem if you eat in Project Pie. So I had everything non-meat on top of my customized pizza. I had all kinds of cheeses, tuna, anchovies, garlic, olives, green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms with pesto sauce as base. Oh it was delicious.

However, it defeated the purpose of fasting. Even if my pizza didn't have meat, my tummy was more than fulfilled. I ate something I really enjoyed on a day that I should be contemplating and fasting.

So dear Project Pie, maybe I'll forget you on Fridays for the meantime. You are one hell of a temptation!

Pizza review again 1278291278291278299996🏻️

First time (finally) to try the Project Pie Build Your Own Pizza.

It's entertaining that you get to design and put ANYTHING you want (well of course limited to what ingredients they have laid heheheh). The pizza is just enough size for a single person, so sharing is a no-no (def not for me bwahahah). You gotta consume the pizza immediately though, coz if the pizza gets too cold, it will become to rubbery ro eat (ya know like slicing and chewing with full effort).

The vibe of the Tomas Morato branch is real cool! Its spacy so it can accommodate at least 80 I think? And oh, without the problem of being nudged by customers going to and fro while you're sitting. So yeah it's pretty spacy.

Overall, pizza's great and the place! Yay! 128536128514

My friends and I were cafe hopping in Tomas Morato, but then got hungry. Proj Pie is one of my go to pizza places ever since I tried it in SM North, so when I saw the branch in the area, I couldn't help but drag my friends there.

First of all, I gotta say that i loved the vibe of the branch. It felt very retro-diner style. It was a spacious area and we were the only ones there (which is a plus!). The staff was very friendly when we came in and were quick to take our orders. Since it was my friend's first time at Proj Pie, she was still unfamiliar with the concept of it all, but the staff was quick and patient to guide her through it. Quality service!

As always, I can say that there pizza was amazing! I personally love stuffing my pizza to the brim with tons of stuff, it gives it more flavor. I do suggest newcomers to try the same thing.

As for the price, it might be a bit too steep for the size, but the flavor and customization really saves the day. If you're around the area, I suggest taking a bite here!

My pizza -

- red sauce
- prosciutto
- anchovies
- basil
- fresh mushrooms
- Gruyere
- mozzarella

Of course I loved it because it had every item I wanted. Loved the slightly crunchy thin crust. We also got their meatballs but it was just ok. My 5 stars are for the pizza only.

This is a pretty big restaurant. Very spacious, even if all the chairs were filled it it wouldn't feel so masikip. We came here at 10:30AM on a Sunday (because Mr. & Mrs. Graham's were closed) and there were only a few diners.

Am i recalling correctly that you had to tick your ingredients on a list before? This time, maybe because there were barely people inside, I was just asked for what I wanted.

Oh please don't laugh at me... I was only able to try this very recently128516 The infamous Project Pie. Where people used to line up for 2-3 hours when it was just new. Not a fan of waiting in line for food, I make sure I make a reservation, or go early to the restaurant for the first seating, or not go at all that's why it's taken me a while to try this. Plus they don't have this in BGC.

I like it enough to dine here again, but at a branch closer to home.

Make you own pizzazza!!!! 127829127829127829

TO MY forever bae haha. 128514

It's my 4th time here & i haven't had reviews on looloo already hahaha. :( i miss this. 128521

Anyways! Who doesn't love pizza right?! Most of us do especially in project pie, you gotta make your own pizza & get to choose what toppings to put on your dough hahaha. Yay!

When we dine here we order 2 pizza's.
1st one: All Meat Pizza! which contains meats! Obviously! 128514 there's a lot of ground beef, pepperoni, mushroom, ham, extraaaaaa cheese & etc haha.
2nd one: BBQ Chicken Pizza! All time fave! Especially their BBQ sauce so yummy! :) & with toppings of mushroom & most esp try it with bleu cheese you won't regret it! + to top it all off put lotsaaaaa cheese. 128069& lastly their crust is not too thick its just the right size of thiness & the pizza is not that oily so no worries for people who are conscious of that. :)) but still oily foods are not that healthy HAHAHA.

Hmm! Also, their staff there is very very friendly & has really pleasing personality haha. i guess good training from the staff though hahaha. & especially the interior really cute though, some kind of a retro-ish modern style haha! I guess that's what i'll describe to it. 128513127829128069

Project Pie newbie here 128587🏻 Yep, first timer 128513 Wanted to visit ages ago but the timing was just never right, until yesterday 🙃 Feeling hungry and stuck in traffic, we spotted a parking space and decided to drop in for merienda.

For P285, you get to create your own pizza, it was certainly fun choosing all the toppings we wanted on our customized pizza 127829🤗 Toppings were fresh and they had a good variety to choose from, We settled on a tomato sauce based pizza with loads of prosciutto, mushroom, mozzarella, bell pepper & tomatoes! Just the way I like my pizza 128525 Within 7-10 mins. We got our lovely creation 128070🏼 and it was delicious 128523

We also tried their Primo meatballs (4 pcs) @145.. Meh... Yummy sauce but the meatballs were kinda overdone and not juicy, a little tough to bite into 128533
3/5

The place is spacious and neat, friendly staff and there's free WIFI. Definitely coming back for more pizza 🤗

Making you own Pizza is always fun 127829127829127829 you can put all the toppings you want to fully enjoy your customized pizza 128523 I always love their thin crust! What's new is that they have this card that you can get for 500php - you get a free pizza for every 3 paid pizzas but it can only be used 3 times (good for 1 yr). After your 3rd free pizza you have to purchase a new card in order to get a free pizza again 128518

We couldn't decide what to eat when we were slowly driving along morato.

So we all decided to just pick any restaurant that doesn't have a lot of people (because parking's a big problem in morato).

Good thing Project Pie wasn't full when we passed by!

I put mozzarella, parmesan, bacon, sausages, red bell pepper, mushrooms, and onions! 128516

It was pretty good! Wait time was just around 5-7 min. And one of the staff (Pia?) went to our table to ask us about the food. I quickly told her that I'll rate it 5 stars here on |ooloo! 128514

Awesome food, ambiance, place, and service. I'm not that hard to please 9996

Another FINALLY for you!

We were bombarded by the english-speaking staff of project pie which was kinda cute (lalo na yung guy na sobrang bait para siyang care bear). We can't decide what we want so thank God to the woman who served us and to the kind management ahaha. She offered us that our pizza could be made into TWO "flavors". We started with the sauce, I chose the red sauce, my friend chose the olive oil. Then we moved on to the cheeses, I chose what the woman recommended for my sauce (i forgot) then my friend chose gorgonzola and some other cheese. Fast forward because I want you to experience it for yourself (promise it is worth it!) ambiance was terrific and witty!

Before laving the premises "wipe your piehole first" wenk wenk ;)

I had fun creating my own pizza! I chose the white pizza with basil and added more cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni, crushed garlic and italian meatballs. Oh and we also ordered a Banana Nutella pizza. So good!!

It was a late lunch since our doctor's appointment took too long so thankfully, the place was almost empty. Project Pie has always failed to make an impression on me for some reason but my meal this time was amazing. I ordered the number two pizza, attracted by the Italian sausage and pepperoni and asked them to put all their cheese on it. It was the right decision, a rich pizza with a bit of kick that's accompanied perfectly by their red sauce. I'll definitely try this combination again.
