This iced latte from Prominent Cafe is perfect when you need coffee in this summer heat. And they have a really nice space for when you want to work, study, or just chill. 9749

One of the newest coffee shops in QC that I recently visited is Prominent Coffee.

Its photos on Instagram made me excited to visit this café. I love its white and clean interiors - it makes me feel at home. The place is huge that it there’s a big table full of board games when I visited. For me, this can be a perfect place to chill and have a nice catch up with friends.

I tried their Toasty (170php). It’s mocha with torched marshmallow and oreo crumble. Though I’m not a fan of marshmallows (I ordered it for the gram), this drink was actually good. The mocha base was not too sweet. It was chocolatey good and the coffee taste was evident. I’m happy with what I ordered. AND DON’T YOU AGREE THAT IT’S TOO BEAUTIFUL???

Cindy S ordered their Chai Tea Latte. It was pretty good as well but it’s too sweet for me. I like chai tea in general but it’s a hit or miss for me. I love TE and WM versions though.

I like their coffee machine. It’s customized that there’s PROMINENT engraved on it. That’s pretty cool. I also like the high chairs on the bar area. The owner was there during this visit and he was friendly. He asked us how we found the place and our thoughts about the coffee we just had.

Lastly, they have a lot of Instagram plants! So cool!!! 127811127797

The not so new 3rd wave coffee shop over at a Caltex Station at QC has caught my attention for quite sometime now, and oh yes, i was ever so happy to have visited this place.

I like the place because it’s really really spacious. It’s clean and it’s really perfect for me times— me times during its wee hours because it’s more quiet. During that time i liked the clean view of the quiet street outside—like seriously. I could imagine such place could be a comforting place especially during a thunderstorm.

Any ways, the place could turn into fun hangout place as well, because they have card games for play only. They have imploding kitten game cards too!

Say whut?! In with gelatte, out with affogato. Although they sell affogatto as well, i suggest you try their gelato version. They usually serve vanilla flavored gelato with your latte, but that time they run out of stock so they used their cereal milk gelato. It was so good!

They source out their beans from Plainsight Coffee (haven’t heard of it) carrying Brasil Formosa. I like the bitterness of the latte, it was okay anyway, the ambience itself was already a win.

Awesome awesome cookie here! Simple but just right to go with your latte.

They also serve cakes, pasta and sandwiches.
The other gelato flavors were interesting as well: Mangga’t Suman, Davao Chocolate— they all seem familiar i think they source it out from the Manila Creamery.

The place could accommodate around 25 pax by the way and opens 10am. It’s a good place to chill. Quite incomparable with Starbucks as it’s always jam-packed there.

Power outlets? No problem. They got a few on opposite far perimeters.
