We needed to grab a quick lunch since we will be having a meeting after. Am the only one who has not eaten breakfast yet and would not like to eat at a common fast food place, and since we are already at The Block and from the restos around the floor where we are located, Pub Express is the one that I think can serve as a good quick meal. I’ve tried Pub Express in their first branch in Iloilo so I hoped they serve the same quality as here in Manila.

I ordered the Baby Back ribs and my friends were surprised that with a big slab, it only costs Php 169 with java rice and a sidedish. Since my friends are not really that hungry, they ordered the 1/2 dozen garlic parmesan chicken wings.

The back ribs was superb! The meat was so soft and tender and the sauce is just right. The java rice is perfectly cooked the way I like it, not too dry. And it just goes so well with the back ribs. It did not disappoint.

They also serve All Day breakfast meal for only Php 100, and because of that, they also serve brewed coffee for only Php 35. I have to order one coffee for a caffeine fix but the coffee was too bland that I felt I was drinking hot water.

Their chicken wings was good too. Not superb but they can satisfy a hungry stomach. They are not greedy with the parmesan so it was a nice treat!

They also have different sausages and I’ve learned that they have Unlimited Wings with unli rice every Wednesdays and Fridays for only Php 199.

The staff were nice and friendly and I would definitely come back. A good, quick, satisfying meal that won’t break your wallet.

Definitely would recommend to friends!

1st time to eat at this place. We ordered 2 half dozen wings; buffalo and chili bagoong flavor. Basically, yung fried wings lalagyan lang nila ng sauce. So for buffalo, yung labas lang yung spicy. For chili bagoong, may dip sila na lasang bagong.

Okay naman yung plain fried wings. It will remind you of the time na uso pa maghanda sa bahay twing birthday. Lasang fried chicken ni nanay. 128514

Kaya lang, for its price (half dozen 169) + rice (20 pesos), di sya worth it IMO. I will add a few bucks and eat at Frankie's na lang. 128541
