Second stop for the post bday trip. This place is really posh! Yay, for traveling during off-peak months, we got our room for just 4050 a 60% off from its 9k plus original rate.

The resort is huge! They have 2 pools and jacuzzi. Big rooms too. Sulit!

Checked in after Sundowners. This resort is big and we were able to get their discounted room rates. The room rate is P4,050.00 with breakfast. I love their room and their pool.

Resort with Private beach, that's what i loved about the resort. Less hassle because it wasn't crowded since we stayed on a weekday lean season haha.

Anyway, we drove 8 hrs to reach here and it was, i guess, worth it. (A bit disappointing with the low tide beach huhu) good thing there's the infinity pool which made up for it haha.

Food is too expensive, make sure to bring enough food since there are nothing to buy around and you have to travel 20km+ to reach the city proper.

We stayed overnight (NAKAKABITIN).. I availed their romance package and damn, the candlelight dinner by the beach is SOOOO NAKAKAKILIG. Promise, haha (that's my surprise for my boyfriend for his birthday-kinilig sya, I saw it haha)

Anyway, thanks to Rian K for her recommendation. Because of her I wanted to try this too. Sadly, I had no time to avail tours :( maybe next time..

Merry Christmas |looloo friends! Most Christmasses I would spend in the mountains or in a cold place. This year though, the family ventured to Bolinao, Pangasinan and I have been loving every minute of it!

Our base for this trip, Puerto del Sol. Lovely accomodations and friendly staff. A wee bit on the expensive side but worth evey penny! Literally a stone's throw away from the best scenic spots. The biggest bonus is the surf break just 500 meters off the resort property. The walk or wade rather through the shallow water offers a clear view of the aquatic grass land and smooth coral rock. Lots of hermit crabs, small fish and the occasional baby sea snake!

Once you get to the surf break, the sound and sight of the crashing waves is both hypnotizing and alluring. I would have dared to go closer still but we were cautioned of a strong undertow near the break.

The sight of a large blue open ocean, the sound of breaking waves and the feel of the sea breeze and cool waters are rewards enough, and for that this deserves my 5 stars!

Last wednesday we explored Pangasinan and booked at Puerto Del Sol in Bolinao, Pangasinan. 127796 You can ride a five star bus bound to Bolinao and hire a tricyle going to resort. Make sure to convince the driver to make the fare range to Php 150-200. The bumpy ride takes about 30 mins to reach the resort. When you arrived at the resort, a friendly staff will give you a welcome drinks and lei. Since we're too early we roam around first the facilities of the resort. What i love here is the infinity pool. So beautiful 128149 we check in around 12nn. The staff will guide you to your room. The room was too cozy and spacious, the ambiance is cool. But unfortunately, there is no wifi in the room only in the front desk office. Overall i must say that it is one of the best resort we have stayed in. 127881 By the way, the mansion villa room is Php 4,500 good for 2 pax, breakfast included and 1 hr used of kayak or canoe. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

I can't stop thinking about this place! Though it's really far (imagine sa dulo ng Pangasinan), it was worth it! The view and their room, its super posh! Haha. But I won't recommend this to people who are mainipin while traveling. It took us 5-6hours to reach the resort. So ayun. Patience is a virtue. Haha. I just hope they improve their service since we had a problem with their staff at the resto. Very strict (as in) with changing of food menu. What happened to us is we wanted to avail the package for 8-10 and change one of the dishes. Imagine ha just one change of dish ayaw nila. So, we were very disappointed tapos ang mahal mahal pa. Haha.

Reminiscing about our previous vacay in Bolinao!97281277449728

This place was very picturesque! They had a pool and an outdoor jacuzzi, with a lot of cabanas, as pictured... Lots of places for beautiful pictures!128522

The beachfront was clean, but there was a long stretch of rocky ocean floor... Then suddenly there's a huge dip and then the water becomes very deep... So be careful when swimming with little kids and best to bring beach shoes... They have a lot of equipment for water sports available and we opted to go kayaking instead of swimming when we were there.

The rooms were brightly colored yet simple, comfortable to spend a couple of nights in... But they don't have fancy rooms, so don't be surprised... The food was just okay... But the part I liked the most is how quiet it was when we stayed there... You really feel that you are away from the city and that you have left everything behind... 127752 it's a great place to recharge!128077 just don't expect it to be a party place.127880128513
