Pujada Island is a nearby island from Mati City, Negros Oriental. Another proud island of this city and it's a little isolated. It's actually a private property but the owner allows visitors for Php 20 entrance fee. You can reach the island after an hour or so boat ride. No vendors or food are available at the island so better packed some for yourself. Boat rentals ranges from Php 3000-4000 that could fit 10 to 12 pax.

I like isolated islands because it's serene and you can definitely feel the breeze and enjoy some quiet time. The water is clear, though there are a number of pebbles underneath but it's actually good for a foot massage. The vast white beach is also pure, and fine. There's this bridge-cottage like place that you can take photos and see small fishes from above. And since there are lots of trees in the island, it helps as to have a little shade on.

If ever you're going to visit Mati, drop by at this place and be one with nature.
