Punta Malabrigo should improve their booking process. I booked a weekend in June and asked if an early check-in is possible. The person I was texting agreed as long as I add P500 more to the usual rate. Since that was settled, I deposited my downpayment (P1,000) and looked forward to the trip. A few days later, however, they told me they cannot accommodate my early check-in, despite our previous agreement. So I asked for a refund -- however, they deducted P200 from the downpayment, a fact I was not informed of before paying it.
Whoever I was texting -- the owner/staff -- was unprofessional. I also thought the deduction was a scam; prior notice should have been made of their conditions. Overall magulo sila kausap. Will not recommend to any of my family and friends.

Stunned by this stone beach!!
We went on an unplanned Roadtrip down south just to see what else batangas has to offer.
So When we arrived in Malabrigo Lobo, we were directed to this resort by the locals. And when we saw the beach our jaws dropped by the beauty of it. It was stunning!
Stones and pebbles, wide shoreline, turquoise to deep blue sea and the freshest air there could be
Move over laiya and anilao, Malabrigo is something else!
It is on the edge of batangas facing Mindoro. The 3-4 hour drive from manila is worth it .
Unfortunately we were not able to swim due to high sea current. But its okay just seeing and feeling the beach is enough
The resort do not serve food though, and since were on an unplanned trip we have no food , So we went on a side trip to the nearest pancitan, and it was oh soo good

Classes in Ateneo are done, it's summer, so we were off to another adventure! It's our first time to go to Malabrigo, Lobo, Batangas.
The trip: it's good not to have to pass Tagaytay or Bauan (to Anilao), no traffic. You'd have to pass some mountains before reaching Lobo, Batangas, it's a scenic drive though that part in Catandala was a bit scary.
The beach: covered by smooth pebbles, not sand. Clean & easier to walk on compared to Anilao.
Water: clean but has some drastic drops. We encountered some itchy things though. Better to wear rash guard.
The resort: basic & small. We had problems: CR smells like cockroach, the was a tuko in our room, bed sheet was itchy, bed was not comfortable, pillows were hard, and the room was dirty (plastic wrappers under the bed, cockroach eggs on curtain). For 2thousand pesos per room, i expected at least a clean room.
Plus points for the resort:
1) they allow you to bring your own food w/out charge. You can also cook using their gas stove for a fee.
2) dogs are allowed! Arwen had fun walking around the beach. She even had a dog suitor, Jackie Chan, the resort owner's dog. But Arwen can't have BFs (my rule).
3) there's a nearby watchtower that gives a glorious light at night.
Will we go back? Maybe, if they promise to clean the room.
