It was hard for me to find "Instagrammable angles" on this place! 128514

Well, before going back to Manila, we researched pa where to go other than the mainstream parks and restos. We found this one, the Puzzle Mansion.

Puzzle Mansion is known for the Guinness World Record puzzle collection of Ms. Gina Lacuna. My friend asked if Ms. Gina is around, so we could take photos because we weren't able to take one with Mr. Ramon Orlina at Museo Orlina.... We were told Ms. Gina already passed away last 2014, I think. 🙁 Anyway, the place is not limited to 2D puzzles, but they also have 3D puzzles. We even saw one which is made of wood. 128522 My favorites were the pieces of Vincent Van Gogh and other European artists. When you take a look of each puzzle's label, the hours that Ms. Gina rendered to finish that puzzle is included. Some were finished for 30 minutes, some for months. 128563 I guess Ms. Gina must really be a patient person to finish all the pieces.

At the 2nd floor, we found the biggest puzzle (Guinness-record piece as well. It's the Double Retrospect, 32,000-piece puzzle. It's too big I even had to crop the photo lol 128514.

That's all you can see. 128522 Entrance is P100.

I feel like a kid and one of my dreams came true when we went here earlier. The puzzles are fascinating and literally a lot. I admire the owner and her only child for working for this record to be fulfilled and continued till today. Guinness Book of Records baby! Great place!! I love it here!

Amazed when we got here during our weekend bonding with my family. With an entrance of P100, you could actually enjoy all kinds of puzzle in a room. Although room is a bit small for all the puzzle, still you could appreciate how the owner came up with her hobby of doing puzzle in a day.
They also have a store if you wanna try and make up your own puzzle. And of course, your trip wouldn't be complete if you won't try their famous coconut pie. Think it is P120 per box. Sorry, not sure haha! The taste made me forget how much it was.
Guess, we will come back for the pie and not for the puzzle next time. 128522

On our last day in Tagayatay, we still had enough time to make the trip to the Puzzle Mansion, or the place that houses the puzzle collection of the woman who clearly has more available time than the rest of us. Imagine, she won the Guinness Book Record for having the largest puzzle collection in the world. In fact, the biggest puzzle and the second biggest puzzle are on display in this house. I love puzzles too but the most number of pieces I’ve completed and that’s on a website is no more than 500, but this woman, her largest jigsaw puzzle is a whopping 30,000 pieces. I kid you not, thirty-thousand-friggin’-pieces, does she not sleep?

Aside from the jigsaw puzzles, there are other types of puzzles on display, such as 3D puzzle, wooden puzzle, cube puzzle, vase puzzle, crystal puzzle, and the list goes on. Never in my life have I seen such a vast collection and I was impressed despite myself. Entrance fee is here 100 bucks. I wouldn't call it as a must-visit place though. If you like puzzles then maybe you'd have fun looking around. There is a good reason to go here though and that is the creamy buko pie. It's really good, now that one is a must-try.

If you're into seeing amazing and unique puzzles, if you're an addict puzzle maker pr just fancies them, don't forget to visit this place!

There were millions of puzzle collections in different shapes, sizes, and styles! From squares to rectangles to animal shapes, circles, buildings, etc., you can find almost all types here!

Make sure to take your time in getting awe with the collection as you also discover the # of hours (completion time) for each.

At the 2nd floor, get to view the world's largest puzzle and enjoy at the puzzle stations!

There are also souvenirs for everyone!

It was okay. The room is too small for that huge number of puzzle collections. With 100php entrance fee. I'm not sure if its worthy. Well at least. I love the coco cream pie. Thats it. Will not revisit. 128513

I enjoyed our visit here. Some of the puzzles are really interesting, especially the 3d ones. The place is far from the main road but you won't get lost because a lot of signages are around. The staff is very accomadating.

No way you can get lost! Signs leading to the mansion are EVERYWHERE!

Visiting this Guiness Record holding venue was borne more out of curiosity rather than pure interest. That quickly changed though after seeing thousands of puzzles and realizing the man hours devoted to completing them. (I wish I had that much time on my hands! 128516). Specially intriguing were the 3D puzzles of famous landmarks around the globe. The construction reminded me of Lego sets, although these were made of paper and cardboard.

At P100 per head entrance fee, it's a little bit steep but I think still worth spending for a hour of education and wonder. 128516

Continuation of our weeklong Anniversary! 127881Hahaha lol

This is one of our destination when we went to Tagaytay. Puzzle mansion is in the Guinness World Records for having the largest collection of Jigsaw puzzles. We paid Php100 each for the entrance fee.

We enjoyed looking at the huge room filled with puzzles. Some were in big frames composed of 18,000 puzzles and took them 3 months to complete the puzzle. I even saw a puzzle of TVD. Cant help but took a photo kissing Damon my love! (Fangirling 128587) 128525

It was really fascinating but I guess that's all. When I finished seeing every puzzle, I was puzzled, yun na yung 100 haha

But wait there's more!!!!
As you can see above the picture, there's a pie. That's not an ordinary pie. It's called the Coconut Cream Pie. It tasted so delicious! Parang yun pa pinunta namin dun. It's just Php50 per slice and Arjay bought Mais Con Yelo but the corn wasnt fresh it tasted like it was no longer edible maasim na siya 128547
We didnt finish it. But the pieeee!!! Ohhhh the pie 128525 I wish I couldve bought the whole pie. Hihihi I would give it 127775127775127775127775127775

After brunch, we had some time to kill, and Regine E wanted to show me Puzzle Mansion, so we headed over. This place is near the Antonio's area, but you never have to worry about getting lost since there are signs EVERYWHERE. I bet they could even rival those of St. Luke's or Colette's.

There's a 100 peso per person entrance fee, for the maintenance of the museum. This gets you access to the 1000++ Puzzles that the owner has collected and completed from all over the world. You'll see a lot of them, from famous artworks like the Mona Lisa, to 3D puzzles of famous monuments, to yes, even Justin Bieber. We even had the good fortune to meet the owner, Mrs. Gina Lacuna, who knows the stories behind each puzzle and what they're based on. Her own story is quite inspiring, and if you have the time, it's good to ask her about her hobby. 9786

We even took home a puzzle of our own... But these things require a lot of patience. We've so far put together a whopping 4 pieces out of 1000 after working 45 minutes. 128560

Great place to visit. Excellent collection. Best jigsaw puzzle shop I've ever been in (bought some cool items).
And the Guiness title holder sometimes graces her visitors with her presence and talks to them. Sweet lady.
Shown here is what is known as the world's hardest puzzle.

There are dozens of signs along the main highway of Tagaytay talking about the home of the Guinness Record holder for the largest puzzle collection: Puzzle Mansion. So we decided to pay a visit to the place.

................ That's all I can say.

Hahahahah fine, there are thousands of puzzles in the place, but they charge P100/ head to enter a room full of puzzles. Period! No tour, no intro. Nothing. It's quite interesting if you're into puzzles but QUITE is the operative word. And if you're not into puzzles... Use your 100 on mcdo nalang or sometjing

Stayed here with my family during holy week, cozy place, the family room we got was huuugee!! It was also neat to see all the puzzles and meet a Guinness world record holder! Badass! All in all enjoyed my stay here was relaxing and quiet enough as it is away from the main Tagaytay road.

Room was 6800 for the family room 4800 (i think) for the regular room. Entrance to the museum is 100 but waived if you are staying with them.

A few cons, wifi signal didn't reach our room, planned to looloo during that weekend but wasn't able to. When you do connect to wifi it's really slow the only decent time to use it was at 1am when everyone is asleep lol.

The pros outweigh the cons, and the owner Tita Gina Lacuna is pretty hands-on running the place so hopefully she improves the place further.
