A lot of peeps during weekends.
But you'll notice many are staring at their phones... POKEMON GO!
That's instead of focusing on their activity whereas mostly joggers.

It's still fun as I walked with my love. 10084
There are growing food stalls with affordable prices too! 128522

This place is not scary like before. They have guards and sweepers around. It's calming and great place to chill.

A walking tour where we visited the Quezon Shrine Museum at QCMC ....wait there's more.....a special access to the top of the pylon! Have you tried climbing a spiral staircase atop 216meters to enjoy the exhilarating panorama that is QC? Who says parks are only for cheesy dates, zumba, group practices, and family picnics? 128522128077🏻127881

Funny how this place was once a every weekend happy place for me turned to a place that I just pass by most of the time. This place is where I used to rent a bike and practice. Play in the playground with those dinosaurs. Its been more than a decade since I've entered QC Memorial Circle. More commonly known for QC commuters the elliptical road which has the exit going to Quezon, North, East and Commonwealth avenue. The heart of Quezon City.

I've got to drop by the place because of a pre event meeting. The place fairly the same with some added activities like tiangge and amusement park. I love how there is so many people doing different activities like jogging, self defense class, aerobics. The place is so lively. There are also some groups having a picnic. This is indeed the luneta of the North.
Surprised that the old restos have survived the test of time. The old Kamameshi, Maxs and Tropical Hut are still alive.

Walking this place is so nostalgic but as I walked around I can't help but compare this place to parks in other countries I've been to. There is so much potential this place can be if they could just take care of the place and develop it properly. Hope they can groom the plants and trees around the area or plant even more flowers to make the place more beautiful. Hope they could also renovate old signage that are full of vandalism. If only Ayala would volunteer and transform this place like what they did in Ayala triangle and BGC. What a beauty it would be!

Childhood favorite. Located right smack in the middle of Quezon City, you'll find a place where you can bike, run, play ball, visit a museum, or just chill under a tree.

They now have an amusement park, restaurants, tiangge stalls, plant stalls, food stalls and an area for zipline.

Ample and secure parking space. Lots of restrooms all over the park.

Throwback!
For more than a decade now since i used to go with my ate here together with my niece and sister to jog and play and have picnic and just have fun!!!

Now it's already too crowded especially weekends and i saw that they also have Tiangge Bazaars at night especially weekends! 128077

Still a typical masa park to go to where it's super easy to reach with just a jeepney ride from our place. 128522

My Son loves it here coz he can ride a bike with his cousins and play in the playground.
Many stalls and small restaurants around the area. There's tiangge selling everything including organic fruits and vegetables plus other plants like orchids, citronella (against mosquito) etc.

Best to go early in the morning to jog, attend aerobics or Zumba for only P50 for an hour class. I think there's Taichi class also that oldies can attend to at the same price.

Good place for Family bonding, surely everyone will be busy!

My second visit here few years past after my first visit is memorable too ..My cousin in law and her daughter including my younger cousin too came to visit here early para mamasyal, at dahil sa tyangge hahaha..my cousin in law kasi mahilig sa mga bazaare in any form .. And we also rented bikes para may magawa kami while she is in bazaare... buti nlng I brought my sfc i.d in my wallet kara naka rent kami ng bike bec. They need i.d ..buti nga kahit hindi government I. D tinatanggap nila..

Sobrang lawak talaga ng place na'to.. Kahit dun lang kami umiikot near the bazaare nakakapagod pa rin...

Remembering my first ever visit here is when I attended the 10th year anniversarry of Gawad Kalinga way back October 10, 2010 (10-10-10) , that was truly unforgetable, specially I was just new then in Singles For Christ :) and right then, whenever I see this place or when we're just passing here I always remember that day ... This place is perfect for family bonding, picnics and more next after Luneta..
It's also perfect for early morning jogging, like we did together with my tita and her friends and my younger cousin aswell last month ...

And the photo above is my first ever souvenir, my GK shirt :) 128085

Went here 2 weeks ago just because I wanted to.

I wanted to do something different on a weekend so I ended up going to a park. And the nearest park from home is QC memorial park/circle!

I wasn't surprised when I saw photogs here. This gets packed by photogs and models because they can do "mini shoots" for free. Unlike in Rizal Park and Intramuros where they charge you thousands I think.

Place is neat. There were a lot of people doing different stuff like playing badminton, volleyball, biking, etc.

It's a cool place situated in the middle of Quezon City chaos.
