Well I bought this super cute Purikura portable polaroid camera in a Japan surplus store in Quiapo for somewhere like 2,000 pesos. It comes with 3 packs of unopened films. What a steal right?

The model itself was loaded with a film already, but since its inside a surplus store, Im guessing that the film is already expired. I've proven myself correct when I already tried it at home (See second picture. Brb. Crying because of the nasayang na films)

The Purikura polaroid is one of the rarest polaroid I've seen. It works just like a normal polaroid camer, only bulkier. It standa about 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide. It has a stand on its own making it appear like a photobooth-polaroid camera at the same time.

The lens is no different than actual polaroids. Although since it's portable, you can prolly adjust your angles and fit in much bigger group in one photo.

The picture, like what I said earlier is no different to the pictures produce by Instax cameras. Although one can notice that Purikura's solution is slightly lighter than a normal Instax-produced photo.

The only backlash of this camera is that certain functions are not working anymore, and its hard to find a store to fix it whenever it'll be broken.

Normally, The Purikura works with a sound over. You thist the camera to to turn it on. Then you press the shutter button. Then there will be a voice prompt that will tell you if the camera was abou to take picture. Works just like the big Purikura booth? Yea I know, cool128526

Sadly, the voice prompt is broken on my camera. So I have to count 10 seconds before it captures a photo. Not that cool anymore :(

And recently, I had problems with loading the film in the cartridge, it's not reading it anymore. I hope that If I wont win the giveaway, atleast Henry's can help me fix this super cute polaroid? (Lol)

i miss attending mass here , I was been trying to come then with my tita and her bff's , but later when they're bout to leave , I'm still asleep and "katams" visited me very early haha..but today I am desperate, so I really push myself to stand up and go with them...actually wala pko tulog nito since yesternight,.kaadikan sa coloring hahaha...kinareer lang haha..

what I love about the part of the priest's sermon is when He saids, the true meaning of happiness is sharing the happiness itself, which is absolutely true...
parang yung motto ng |oo|oo diba pag nag aadd ng place pag wala pa sa database... after clicking the add button, later "the more the more merrier" will appear 1285141285221285221285229996
which is right naman kasi...because you are sharing the happiness you experience to that place, that's why you want that place to be part of the app record bec. you want them to experience the happiness you experience 128522128522128522 , though not all might come to that exact feeling since we all have our own POV...

Well about the place, for those never pa nka visit , it's always crowded most of the time...but still the solemnity will never fade..thousands of devotee can be seen specially on friday...

Guys, I can't tag you all one by one through reccomendation button, but I personally reccommend to all of you to visit this, for a great experience... I heard a long time ago, that our former Vice president Noli De castro is also a devotee here....

Heard mass after the Jan. 9 fiesta, crowded as ever but beautiful church. Regardless of the crowd and the noise outside...heard an inspiring homily.

It was definitely an experience visiting the Quiapo Church. The sights and sounds; hustle and bustle of its surroundings definitely makes me more interested in the culture of the area. This place id definitely a must-see if you want to experience manila.

One of my favorite places here in Manila.
Just don't go here on a Friday. jampacked because of the novena.
Nice place to food trip, pray, ukay -ukay shopping, fruits and vegetables shopping. And camera shopping. You can also look for great bargains at SM outlet mall.

Visited here this morning after I went to Immaculate Conception Cathedral (where marian and dingdong got married) before I bought plain white collared shirt that we will use for our uniform for tom.mass in Luneta headed by our Holiness Pope Francis .. It's not very crowded today since it's not friday, but still lot of people come to attend the mass..when I arrived the mass is almost going to finished, nagbebless na si Father 128513128513128517 ..parang sa Immaculate Conception Cathedral, nung dumating ako tapos na yung mass ..

So I can actually give reviews to churches, huh? 128521

Well I only have one class every Wednesday and since I don't get to go out of town for some adventures, I decided to explore Manila instead every week after my Wednesday class.

This time, I went to Quiapo. My goal was actually to search for analog cameras in Hidalgo St. but I didn't find any, most were digital camera and repair shops, maybe I wasn't in the right place (any tips, suggestions?). Plus there were a lot of people so I just went to the church.

I've never been here before, I thought it's an old-looking church but it wasn't, really. But it's pretty on the outside and inside, with its white and a touch of gold (or was that bronze?) color. It actually reminds me of structures (I see in pictures) in Spain because of the color.

The inside wasn't that big like what I expected, but I liked the gray, stony ceiling. It wasn't very hot inside too, despite the weather and lack of electric fans. Guards were scattered inside the church which is a good thing, you know this church is usually packed with devotees so I'm glad there are people inside that were tasked to maintain peace and order.

P.S.
I headed to Metropolitan Theater after going here. After reading Paula O's article on Looloo's blog, I had to see it for myself. My heart ached for what I saw, who would have thought that it's once a lively and roaring place? I'm glad the petition of restoring it was noticed by the government.

Woah, didn't know churches are being reviewed here in Looloo..128077

We needed something from Quiapo Market on a Sunday noon and after we were done buying, we walked on the side of the church and learned that the Mass has just finished and another one was just about to start! Lucky us! We then entered the (very crowded) church and decided to attend na rin the Mass! My first time here! 128522

Overall, even if the place is always packed with Nazarene Devotees, not to mention the heavy traffic outside, one can still feel the holiness of the place brought about by the energy and Faith of everyone praying inside the church.128591

It was almost a year on the last time I visit here and attend the mass..and this morning 5 am, I made it here again., I joined my tita and her friends who always attend the mass here every friday , they would only miss it few times a year less than 10 I believe ... The ambiance and images are still the same..it's just that hindi super duper daming tao pang ganitong oras pa lng since sobrang aga pa...Oh how I miss being here., iba talaga yung feeling pag nakapag mass ka dito.. .I'm suppose to buy a nazareno shirt but my money is not enough...next time I'll make sure to have it :)

Sa mga hindi pa nakakapunta dito, you should come na..you'll miss a part if your life living in Manila if you haven't been here even just once...nothing can replace a great experience...

Also known as the basilica of the black nazarene... .

This is an example of baroque architecture., I never get in this church without the crowd., this church has a lot of devotees coming from diff places plus the tourist.. Aside from the famous church, there are too many vendors outside, manghihilot, mangagamot, even manghuhula... I found it weird, i just hope the local government can do something about it... Somehow organize things...

The relish to feel that I have personally witnessed the procession of the Black Nazarene. Without repentance of watching the historical procession. I hope I would have much more chance to watch it again personally.

Viva Senior Nazareno!
