Sometimes typical Sundays can be so boring, for instance laying in bed, watching movies and just sleep. So while the whole family is complete, try Quina pastry shop and restaurant out located at #37 Dragon St., Midtown Subd., San Roque, Marikina city.

Already tried five of their cakes and i think Banana Cream Pie (75Php per slice) is the best, the icing was so soft, i cant say that much because it just taste yum! And the other cakes we tried were Brownie Walnut(95php per slice), Chocolate cake(85Php per slice), Red Velvet(95Php per slice) and Blueberry Cheesecake(95Php per slice). All of those taste good and affordable yet I really have my own favorites.

We also tried their beef nachos (195Php), roasted beef sandwich (170Php) and their potato wedges (120Php). It's quite expensive but we enjoyed eating all of those yet my favorite was their potato wedges! I'm a fan of potatoes so i think that sums it up!

It was really worth it and you all should visit them!

Planning a hang-out or catch-up date with your besties? Well, I might just have the perfect spot for you!

Having a cozy and chill ambience, Quina becomes a temporary escape from the fast-paced world here in Marikina.

Having the chance to experience some of their cakes, I can say that their Banana Cream Pie (P75 per slice) was the best! The cake's smooth and soft texture only shows some baking skills out there. Also the icing was just perfect to balance the sweetness of the cake. Alongside, we also ordered Chocolate Cake (P85 per slice), Brownie Walnut Cake (P90 per slice), Red Velvet Cake (P95 per slice) and Blueberry Cheesecake (P95 per slice). And I must say that, you'd have no regrets right after you spoil yourselves with some sweets for it's reasonable priced and worthy.

With the taste of their cakes and pastries, you'd definitely ask for more!

Last weekend, we brought this Yema Cake to a birthday party. It was really sweet but the cheese and soft chiffon were sooooo good. We enjoyed this w/ coffee which balanced out the sweetness. I do not recommend this for diabetics! 128540

I originally wanted to bring their to die for chocolate cake but our purchase was pretty last minute. I called when we were near the resto and it would take about 15 minutes wait for the cake. Must plan and call in advance next time 128516

For almost 500php, you'll definitely experience heaven with the desserts that they have.

My most favorite to least: Chocolate Cake, Brownie Walnut, Banana Cream Pie, Red Velvet, Blueberry Cheesecake. Everything was good, it's just that my taste preferred something better amongst the five.

We also ordered their Beef Nachos (195php), Roast Beef Sandwich (170php), Potato Wedges (120php) and we enjoyed eating all of them! 12815610084128155

The ambience is so homey and chill.

Quina is one of the first few family-owned restaurants we've tried in Marikina (as is the trend these days), and it has been a family favorite for a while now. You might not want to have dates here, but this is definitely the place for some good chatter with friends and family.

As with most places in Marikina, parking may be a bit of a trick, so don't come with your patience thin. 128517

Their roast beef and woknatoy is a personal must-try! 128522

Hot, sweet and tasty Sinigang na Baka SA BAYABAS! Just perfect in this rainy, chilly evening. Beef is very tender; soup has just the right sweetness to it. The smell? What smell?!? ;). Didn't smell anything offensive. Hehe

Quina boasts of dishes traditional cooked in Marikina homes by elders. Ever heard of Waknatoy? It's Marikina's version of menudo. You should try that as well.

The cakes were grainy. Their chairs aren't so comfortable but the place is decorated nicely. The service is also fast.
