As sleepy as I am now, this place deserves an immediate review so I'll make this short. We had the family meal for 4 for P2500 but I think it can even feed 6 (or 8 coz I don't think normal is apt for portions I like). Anyhu it includes everything listed below except the clam chowder and they were in normal sizes not sized down coz it was part of a set:
Clam Chowder-creamy and savory with bits of succellent clams, I wanted to finish the bowl but it was my mom's soup so no can do.
Pasta in Aglio Olio-felt like paper in my mouth but when I bite it releases a burst of garlic and olive oil flavor that you just want to keep eating it.
Prosciutto di Parma Salad-ohemgeee that ham, THE ham was gastronomically amazing! The salad was ok but those 5 large slices of heaven (see picture)! It also topped the aglio so it was liked we had another dish right there.
Java Rice-kinda oily but good blend of cajun flavor.
Half a Southern Chicken-moist and tender but that crispy exterior was one of the best fried chicken skin I've had! It came with biscuits and honey which should really be eaten together else it would be like eating mushy flour.
Kansas Baby Full Rack-falling off the bone meat that was bland at first until I lathered their BBQ sauce and can I say that sauce deserved to be lathered! I'm no fan of sweet BBQ sauce but boy they know how to balance that sweet ang tangy, I would bathe in that sauce I swear it was that good.
2 sides (our choice) Mash Potato and Potato Salad-was so-so.
Blueberry Cheesecake-only one little piece came with the set but it was enough, creamy but very dense, not so smooth but still very good.
Ice Tea-house blend sweet tea that tasted like the one I had in Kentucky, not like the tetra pack at all.
Ok, I thought that was gonna be short but I really loved the place :)

Had the most delicious crispy pata here, we were a very large group but the food all came out together. The staff were fantastic! I would definitely visit here again.

Racks finally has opened in Cebu! My fellow Manileño got so excited that we immediately went when they opened in SM Seaside City Cebu.
We were just three people dining but we ordered a lot. First on the list was the Onion Brick. I always order this in Racks and the moment I heard it was opening in Cebu, it was all I could think of. It is still as I remember it the last time I dined in this ribs joint in Manila. Perfectly deep fried thinly breaded onion rings paired with the most delicious spicy remoulade and their awesome signature barbecue sauce. I just love this dish so much!
We then had the Racks Classic Pork Ribs. Still amazingly tender and very flavorful, made even more awesome with their sauces. Plus served with some garlic bread, mac & cheese and coleslaw, it was the perfect All-American barbecue dish! An all time favorite, indeed!
We also had a whole order of the Southern Fried Chicken served with their Buttermilk Biscuits. This was the first time I got to try this from Racks and it will definitely won't be the last. Each piece of chicken was crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. The gravy that came with it was delicious too, and the biscuits were just consistently great. Crumbly, delicious biscuits sweetened with honey, they were the perfect partners of the very savory fried chicken.
Prices are of course high for Cebu, but I will definitely come back but not anytime soon. Will save up first. Hihi
