Reasons why visit Raffles this Sunday:

1. They have a lego themed buffet (specifically desserts) and activity room for kids. The activity room has lego acitivity tables (with small and big blocks) for kids to play while The Lego Movie is being played on the screen. Freebies will be given to the kids who can construct anything!

2. There are numerous choices on the buffet area. From salad to pasta to steak to grilled meat to desserts! Personally, I really love everything served on the dessert bar!

3. The place provides a pleasant ambiance. It was well lit and clean. The place also looks sosyal with the chandeliers and interiors.

4. The staff were very kind and polite. Since there were a lot of kids (because of the the lego activity) on the area, the staff were patient enough to handle those playful kids who runs and plays around.

5. As far as I know, their Awesome Sunday Brunch Buffet will run only until the last Sunday of March. So better reserve a seat! 9996

I LOVE THEIR FOOD! 128523128523128523

Okay so we held our Product presentation here for our accounts during lunch, and until merienda.

Courteous staff! No doubt, because even if I'm still wearing a shirt they still greeted me with warm welcome. 128521

Since there is no food to serve yet, we drunk ourselves with coffee from the coffee maker. 128563 I was like, "how do I use this?" 128514 Good thing they are awesome enough to help us decipher the coffee maker. Lol

Lunch time and I hurriedly go to the dessert area first!. That milk chocolate creme brûlée is so great I wanna get all the cups. 128517 The bleu cheese dip in my salad is yummy too. I srsly had 3 plates before I call it a lunch. #gutomlevel99

Merienda came and I do not know where to put the pasta and croissant, so I take it out, also with the organic chips! 128523 Brought them to the unofficial eat up in Va Bene, and bentang benta pa siya! 128514

I had lunch here with my family and I must say, the food is very good. I had my fill of sushi, cheese and roast beef till I realized that I wasn't able to take a picture. The staff were very friendly and would bring food to our table since we had elderly people with us. We were quite spoiled with our own pizza, roast beef, cookies, crepes and ice cream since the Lolas didn't want to stand up. We even had a fruit platter because one of my cousins had a misunderstanding with a chef. The chef was quite apologetic and frequented our table and sent the fruit platter as a peace offering. Will definitely come back!

True to bloggers' write ups out there, Spectrum all day dining in Fairmont Raffles hotel offers a new kind of gastronomic delight to Manilenos. I had high expectations going to the place and they didn't disappoint. My favorites were salmon skin sushi (love the crunch!), rib eye (so good, didn't even dare put gravy on it), solo pizzas (had the margherita), desserts galore (the honey bar is a first of its kind here in manila) where a mango station was available (they prepared a solo serving of mango crumble with vanilla ice cream), the creme brûlée was my toddler's fave, their cream puffs were superb, I especially liked the Earl Grey mousse and the Filipino touch in serving BBQ mango sticks.
Unfortunately, the Caprese salad was not available (they ran out of mozarella cheese) so I just asked for a version with Camembert cheese and it was surprisingly good. I also missed out on the crepe station - just did not have enough space in my tummy!
This place definitely calls for another visit, will try their dinner buffet next time and have to try the Long Bar where I get to throw peanut shells on the floor:)
